Trump threatens to strike Iran's nuclear sites again 'if necessary'

Roya News22-07-2025
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared Monday that his country will not abandon its nuclear program, particularly uranium enrichment, despite the "severe damage" inflicted on its nuclear facilities by US bombing.
"[Enrichment] is stopped because, yes, damages are serious and severe..,But obviously we cannot give up enrichment because it is an achievement of our own scientists…It is a matter of national pride," Araghchi told Bret Baier of Fox News.
The Iranian minister emphasized that any future nuclear agreement must guarantee the Islamic Republic's right to enrich uranium.
Asked if Tehran had salvaged any enriched uranium from the US bombardment, the Iranian minister stated he did not "have detailed information" on the matter, but that the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization is working "to assess exactly what happened to our nuclear materials, our enriched materials."
Trump reacted to Araghci's comments on Truth Social, saying: 'Of course they are [destroyed], just like I said, and we will do it again, if necessary.
'As interviewed by Bret Baier. Fake News CNN should immediately fire their phony 'reporter' and apologize to me and the great pilots who 'OBLITERATED' Iran's nuclear sites. CNN is a major ratings loser, as is MSDNC!' he added on Truth Social.
On June 13, 'Israel' launched widespread strikes on Iran, sparking a 12-day war between the two countries.
On June 22, the United States joined the conflict, bombing the underground Fordow uranium enrichment facility south of Tehran, and two nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Natanz in central Iran. The actual extent of the damage inflicted by the bombing on these three sites remains unknown.

Khamenei slams Western nuclear demands as 'pretext' amid Rising U.S.–Iran tensions

Published July 29th, 2025 - 03:47 GMT 'The world has now seen, up close, the true power of the Islamic Republic,' he said. — Khamenei Media (@Khamenei_m) July 29, 2025 During the commemoration ceremony for the martyrs, Khamenei described the recent war as a clear demonstration of the Islamic Republic's resilience and strength, highlighting the unwavering foundation of the Iranian state. He emphasized that the root of external hostility lies in opposition to the Iranian nation's faith, knowledge, and unity. "By God's grace," he said, "the Iranian people will never abandon their commitment to religious values or to expanding knowledge. Despite the enemy's efforts, Iran will rise to new heights of progress and honor." Offering condolences to the families of those killed, military commanders, scientists, and civilians, Khamenei added that the 12-day conflict not only brought the Iranian nation recognition for its achievements, but also proved to the world its resolve, steadfastness, and strength. 'The world has now seen, up close, the true power of the Islamic Republic,' he said. His remarks came just a day after former U.S. President Donald Trump warned that any resumption of Iranian nuclear activity would trigger swift retaliation. 'We eliminated their nuclear capabilities,' Trump told reporters during a visit to Scotland. 'They may resume the program again—and if they do, we will destroy it in a heartbeat.' Tensions have flared in recent weeks. On June 13, Israel launched targeted airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Tehran, accusing Iran of posing an existential threat. Also Read US airstrikes destroyed only one of three Iranian nuclear sites The U.S. reportedly backed the strikes and hit key enrichment sites at Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz. The attacks came just two days before the scheduled sixth round of U.S.–Iran nuclear talks—talks already strained by deep disagreements over uranium enrichment. While Tehran insists on its right to enrich uranium, Washington views this as a red line. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran remains the only non-nuclear, armed country enriching uranium up to 60% purity, far beyond the 3.67% limit set by the 2015 nuclear deal, which the U.S. unilaterally abandoned in 2018 under Trump's first term. Enriching uranium to 90% is required to build a nuclear weapon. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned Trump's remarks as inflammatory and disrespectful. 'Iran, a nation with a rich culture rooted in 7,000 years of civilization, will never respond to the language of threat and intimidation,' he stated. 'Iranians have never bowed to foreign powers—we respond only to respect.' © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (

Iran: We Do Not Trust Israel or the United States at All - Jordan News

In a phone call on Tuesday with Tajikistan's Minister of Defense, Imam Ali Saberzada, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, affirmed that Iran has no trust whatsoever in the promises or commitments of the United States or Israel, and emphasized that the country is fully prepared to respond decisively to any new potential threat. اضافة اعلان According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Mousavi stated: 'This disgraceful aggression has proven to the world that the United States and the Zionist entity have fought Iran with all their might over the course of 12 days, disregarding all international standards and laws. Yet, they failed to achieve their objectives and suffered heavy blows, which forced them to request a ceasefire to save the Zionist entity.' Tajik Defense Minister Saberzada expressed condolences over the death of General Bagheri and other Iranian military leaders and civilians: 'The martyrdom of General Bagheri and several senior commanders, along with innocent civilians, is a great loss for the government, people, and armed forces of Tajikistan. We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy.' In return, Mousavi thanked Tajikistan for its support during the 12-day conflict, noting that the late General Bagheri had placed special importance on bilateral military ties: 'General Bagheri valued relations with Tajikistan and worked to strengthen cooperation between our armed forces. Positive and impactful steps were taken in that direction, and I will continue on the same path.' The statements reflect Iran's ongoing distrust of the U.S. and Israel, especially in the wake of the recent 12-day military confrontation, and signal a continuation of Iran's strategy of regional alliances and military readiness.

He then vaguely referred to US President Trump and said, "When you know who dies," adding that his death will result in dancing in the streets before US Vice President JD Vance bans it. Groening's controversial comments come right after the comeback of South Park, which returned for its 27th season recently. The American sitcom returned strong by putting Trump in bed with Satan. During the episode, Trump argued with the Canadian Prime Minister in the White House and asked him, "Why are you placing these new tariffs on Canada? What are you, some kind of dictator from the Middle East?" Trump added, "You don't want me to bomb you like I did Iraq!" To which the Canadian Prime Minister responded, "I thought you just bombed Iran?" The US President replied, "Iran, Iraq, what the hell's the difference? Relax, guy!"
