In response to implications about his qualifications, Mondschein noted that he holds a master's degree in fine arts and has a substantial acting résumé. He took offense to Lively's insinuation that he was unqualified and clarified that he was, in fact, a local hire — covering his own travel and living expenses.
Mondschein added that he is prepared to testify in court if called during the trial scheduled for March 2026, and said he will speak 'truthfully, and more freely' under legal protection.
Lively's representatives declined to respond to Mondschein's comments, referring instead to the claims already detailed in her lawsuit.
