AEW star Bryan Cage is facing a long road to recovery after undergoing a second major surgery in just eight weeks. The powerhouse wrestler revealed he recently had a knee replacement.

The string of injuries began with a quad tear that forced him and his tag team partner, Lance Archer, to be pulled from a scheduled AEW World Tag Team Championship match at the Dynasty pay-per-view in April. Cage explained on social media that he decided to address a long-standing knee issue while he was already sidelined.

Cage is a good in-ring worker and was getting a notable push by AEW CEO Tony Khan before he was sidelined with this injury. Perhaps, when Cage returns to television, AEW will give him a renewed push that can set him up for a bigger run with the promotion.
