Thirty-five of those appearances came in the 2024/25 campaign, Nigerian missed just three league matches for Fulham.
He was recently named as the club's Player of the Season, winning 39.6 per cent of the vote, beating the likes of Alex Iwobi and Bernd Leno.
"Calvin Bassey has been named Fulham's Player of the Season for 2024/25," a statement read.
"After finishing second in his maiden campaign last year, Bassey has gone one better this time around, comfortably coming out on top of the final round of voting.
"A highly dependable figure at the back, Bassey featured in all but three of our Premier League fixtures as the team went on to secure a record points haul, with his pace, strength and confidence bringing the ball out of defence a key component in our success."
Bassey spoke out after winning the award: "Thank you guys for voting me Player of the Season," he told Fulham's official website.
"I want to thank God – without God I wouldn't be where I am.
"Big up all my team, guys who are not necessarily at the Club, who have been helping me.
"Obviously, thanks to the coaching staff and the Manager for trusting me and believing in me. Hopefully we can do amazing things next season, so thank you for your support guys."

Ten Hag looks to get one over Man Utd by hijacking former club's transfer deal

Bayer Leverkusen are eyeing a potential move for Manchester City's James McAtee as Erik ten Hag looks to get one over on Manchester United, who have also considered the player Bayer Leverkusen are weighing up a bid for Manchester City youngster James McAtee - who has previously been linked with Manchester United. Erik ten Hag is now in charge at the German outfit and will have to replace Florian Wirtz. The playmaker is closing in on a £116million switch to Liverpool, which will leave the Bundesliga outfit with cash to spend and a sizeable void that needs filling. They have identified the City playmaker as an individual who could bolster their squad, reports Sky Germany. ‌ McAtee has enjoyed some impressive moments in a City shirt, but is still very much establishing himself under Pep Guardiola, who is known for taking his time when integrating young players into his system. The recent signings may also push him down the pecking order. ‌ He scored an FA Cup hat-trick several months ago and has also contributed in the Premier League. One of those keen on McAtee are the Red Devils. Selling direct to the Old Trafford outfit would prove a hugely controversial move however. As a result it could open the door for the club's former manager, Ten Hag, to swoop in with City likely to favour selling him abroad if they did have to part with the player. Guardiola admits he wants to keep the 22-year-old, but would understand his desire to play regularly. He said in April: 'For the age, I'd like him to stay. But I understand players want more minutes. He can play different positions but I don't know how the squad will be and we will see.' City have seen Cole Palmer flourish since leaving the Etihad. He headed to Chelsea where he knew he'd play regularly and saw his career blossom - which may factor in McAtee's thinking. Conversely, Phil Foden's patience in Manchester was richly rewarded. Another factor at play is that McAtee's contract expires in 2026 - leaving the City hierarchy to either hand him a new deal or cash in before he becomes a free agent. The Manchester club have bought and sold well in recent years, meaning they have toed the PSR line well. McAtee may also see Leverkusen as an ideal destination given how the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham have excelled in Germany. The Bundesliga outfit can also offer Champions League football.

Manchester United's stance on signing £80m Liverpool and Chelsea transfer target

Manchester United have focussed their attentions on signing Hugo Ekitike after conceding defeat in the race for Viktor Gyokeres – but Eintracht Frankfurt's current asking price could prove problematic for the Red Devils. Following a largely underwhelming spell at Paris Saint-Germain, Ekitike has established himself as one of the most in-demand strikers in European football this summer. The sought-after 22-year-old racked up 22 goals and 12 assists in all competitions for Eintracht last season, helping the club secure Champions League football with a third-placed finish in the Bundesliga. However, there has been mounting speculation that Ekitike could be on his way out of the Waldstadion, with the Premier League's elite circling for the Frenchman. It's understood Liverpool and Chelsea have both held talks over a potential move, while Old Trafford has also emerged as a possible destination, with United forced to give up their pursuit of the seemingly Arsenal-bound Gyokeres. Gyokeres' desire for Champions League football next season means he is intent on joining the Gunners, though the Swede's agent is currently embroiled in a war of words with Sporting's president, Frederico Varandas, over a proposed transfer fee. According to The Mirror, Gyokeres has informed United has 'no interest' in being reunited with Ruben Amorim at the Theatre of Dreams, forcing the Red Devils to 'ramp up' their pursuit of Ekitike. But the report claims Eintracht's eye-watering £80million valuation of Ekitike would have to come down significantly before United could even consider making the German outfit an offer. Unfortunately for United, it appears Eintracht have no intention of easing their demands for the attacker, with the club's sporting director, Markus Krosche, telling Wiesbadener Kurier: 'If the price isn't right, then he'll just stay with us. 'We don't have to sell Hugo.' Ekitike's current contract, which he signed upon arrival in Frankfurt, runs through to June 2029. 'In terms of Ekitike, I've spoken to Thierry Henry about him a lot,' former Manchester City and England defender Micah Richards said of Ekitike on a recent episode of The Rest is Football. 'He says he's not [necessarily] a frustrating player, but one minute he looks amazing and the next minute he doesn't really do the basics very well. 'But he said if he gets it right and improves then his ceiling could be very, very high.' With Liverpool mulling over a possible a bid for Ekitike, Richards feels the youngster has more than enough talent to add a new dimension to Arne Slot's attack. 'It depends on how they want to play,' Richards explained. 'Do they want a striker who can stretch or they do they want a striker who is going to come to feet and interlink play? 'Ekitike is not bad on the ball but he's more of a stretch striker than a [Roberto] Firmino coming in deep and linking play. 'Where does Florian Wirtz fit into that? Where does Dominik Szoboszlai fit into that? Where does Luis Diaz potentially fit into that. 'If they get Wirtz I think they may be looking for more a player who can drop and Diaz can play a little bit deeper. He played a lot as a No.9 this season. 'But talent-wise, he's definitely got enough to add to this Liverpool side.' For more stories like this, check our sport page.
