Tottenham captain Heung-min Son suffers head injury in Europa League trophy mishap: ‘Somebody pushed me!'
The Spurs captain suffered a nasty-looking gash above his right eye as Spurs celebrated beating Manchester United to end their 17-year-old trophy drought.
'Look at this!' said Son, holding his hair to show the damage in a video posted by Spurs on social media.
Son then explained how the trophy grazed his forehead during the celebrations.
'I lift [the trophy]; somebody pushed me, and I [hit my] head with the trophy!'
The red mark did not seem to bother Son too much and, still smiling, he then went over to Spurs fans to continue the celebrations on the pitch.

Son said after the game that he can now be called a 'legend' after he achieved his dream of lifting silverware at Spurs, who beat Manchester United 1-0 thanks to a goal from Brennan Johnson and a miraculous late goalline clearance from Micky van de Ven.
The South Korean has previously said he could be considered among the club's greatest players due to his lack of silverware.
But Son told TNT Sports: 'Let's say I'm a legend. Why not?
'Only today! 17 years nobody has done it, so today let's say with amazing players probably a legend of the club.
'This is what I've always dreamed for. Today is the day it happened. I am the happiest man in the world.'

He seems to have his heart set on a move to Anfield but this all hinges on whether or not Liverpool will up their bid for Isak. It seems like that will happen and it also seems like Newcastle know it. So much so that they have already lined up Isak's replacement... Benjamin Sesko left out of RB Leipzig friendly as Newcastle, Manchester United tussle for Slovenian star Reports from David Ornstein and Sky Sports claim that Newcastle have made an offer of over $92 million to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko, with the Slovenian striker not playing for the German club in their preseason friendly against Atalanta on Saturday. Sesko, 22, is seen as the replacement for Isak if Newcastle agree to sell him to Liverpool and the Magpies are scrapping with Manchester United to sign him. Per the reports, Sesko has not decided where he wants to go and it remains to be seen if Manchester United will match Newcastle's bid. The versatile forward is capable of leading the line but also drifting out wide and would be a very good replacement for Isak, even though he's been less prolific in front of goal so far in his career. Manchester United would also be a good landing spot for Sesko with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes buzzing around him in attack. Sesko has a big decision to make and Newcastle have put the ball in Man United's court as they've reportedly bid exactly what RB Leipzig wanted for their star striker. If he goes to Newcastle he will play in the Champions League but has a huge task to fill Isak's boots. If he goes to Man United it's no Champions League action, at least for this season, but he has the chance to be a key part of a new-look attack and the expectations will be lower. It's a really tough decision for Sesko and seems crucial to the trajectory of his career.

Manchester United's overall summer outlay is a surprise given minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said in March the club could have "gone bust by Christmas" without the huge cuts implemented to slash costs. Club sources cite a number of reasons - including Marcus Rashford's £325,000-a-week salary being fully covered during his loan move to Barcelona, various sell-on clauses that have been activated this summer and the payment schedules agreed with Wolves and Brentford around Mathues Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo's arrivals - as the reason why they can still spend. United sources had said on Friday their attempts to sign Benjamin Sesko were continuing. However, subsequently, reports have emerged in the forward's native Slovenia stating the forward had chosen to join Newcastle. Neither club has commented officially on the latest reports. Yet, it is accepted even if Sesko did arrive in a move that would take the club's overall spend to about £200m, there will still be issues for Amorim to address, chief among them the goalkeeper. It now seems certain Andre Onana will remain as Amorim's first choice. The Cameroon international has been working hard on his fitness in the United States after hurting his hamstring on the second day of pre-season training.
