The 41-year-old presenter of Countryfile and On The Farm is no stranger to soaking up the great outdoors.
A mum-of-three, she says getting out is always her priority, no matter how long her to-do list is.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "I've always loved being outdoors, it's so important to me.
"I grew up on a farm surrounded by fields, and the ability to wake up and look at greenery everyday is something I've never taken for granted - it brings me so much happiness.
"I might have a million things to do but I'll still go for a swim, paddle or walk. Even if I've got dishes to do, bills to sort and emails to answer, prioritising being outside and doing something active is as important to me as waking up and brushing my teeth.
"I take one day at a time and I don't overthink things. My motto in life has always been, "How do you eat an elephant?" You just go little by little, bit by bit."

Emma Raducanu's two telltale signs romance may be brewing with Carlos Alcaraz
Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz will team up for the revamped US Open mixed doubles event in August amid speculation "there is something going on between them" Emma Raducanu's"coy smile" and "hair-preen gestures" while talking about about her new doubles partner Carlos Alcaraz indicate a romance is brewing courtside, a body language expert says. Raducanu, 22, was spotted cheering for the Spaniard at the Queen's Club Championship in West Kensington, London, on Thursday and Saturday - the day before he won the competition after beating Jiri Lehecka. The victory came after it was announced Alcaraz, also 22, and Raducanu will team up for the revamped US Open mixed doubles event in August. Speaking about her "genuine connection" with the two-time Wimbledon champ did little to quash speculation "there is something going on between them," according to body language expert Judi James. She noted Raducanu's "coy smile" and "hair-preen gestures" during this interview, signs Ms James believes suggest a new tennis love match is on the cards. The expert said: "The fans love a whiff of a romance and it has to be said that her body language might be a bit of a thirst-trap for audiences starved of a love-all relationship since Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert hooked up back in the Seventies." The American former tennis players' "fairytale romance" also began at the Queen's Club. Speaking to Mail Online, Ms James added Emma appeared to "stall for time" by repeating the interviewer's question about Alcaraz but "the way the coy smile spread across her face as she rattled off their history together" - coupled with the way she played with her hair - was akin to a "fan-girl reaction". Raducanu and Alcaraz's chemistry led to fans chattering about a potential romance. Raducanu gushed in the TV interview at Eastbourne, ahead of her first-round match against Ann Li on Sunday, adding fuel to the fire. And Raducanu's features "softened" and "gaze became evasive" as she reflected on her friendship with the Spanish ace, Ms James continued, also pointing out the Londoner's "pouting and posing" in the interview. But Raducanu has remained coy in the conversations themselves about Alcaraz, firm favourite to win Wimbledon, explaining they became friends at Wimbledon 2021. She said: "He's so nice, very happy, amazing values and just a really positive light to be around. "I've known him for years. Wimbledon 2021 was the first time I started getting to know him. He was always playing the day before me, I would see him win and then I would have motivation to win and get myself into that position too. It was really cool to go through that tournament together and then I kept going through the US Open, we were staying in touch for the whole time and, yeah, it's nice."

Morning Live expert shares two-step method to beat the heat
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info While the hottest day of the year so far is behind us, Glastonbury attendees won't be entirely out of the sun as another heatwave is due to hit the UK in days, with temperatures potentially heading back into the 30s over the weekend and the start of next week. Looking for advice on keeping cool and calm in the heat, one viewer took to Morning Live's WhatsApp line on Monday. Consumer champion Matt Allwright was the first to respond, sharing a handy hack he's used for years. Appearing in a video from his home, the presenter said: 'It's a real challenge to stay cool, but I'm going to show you a tip that I learned from doing lots and lots of music festivals. You take a bandana like this and imagine these are ice cubes borrowed from the bar.' He turned the camera to show his desk, where he had neatly laid out a navy blue bandana. Matt then placed teabags, replacing ice cubes for the demonstration, down the centre of the bandana. (Image: BBC) The BBC star folded half of the bandana over the 'ice cubes' and began rolling it into one long tube with the 'ice cubes' in the centre. He continued: 'You roll it up and put it around your neck. 'That ice water drips down and keeps you cool for the whole day. I hope it works for you, it worked for me on a lot of occasions.' He proudly added, pointing to his new neckpiece: 'Glastonbury 2019, that was a hot one, but the bandana kept me cool. Good luck!' Returning to the presenters in the studio, Gethin Jones remarked: 'Looks good on him too to be fair, fashion statement.' But his co-host Holly Hamilton pointed out what could be a major flaw. She said: 'But close up, if he starts dripping next to you, you might be a little bit worried.' Gethin joked: 'But that's okay in Glastonbury!' If you're not looking to leak on fellow festival goers this summer, Boots Superintendent Pharmacist Claire Nevinson also shared some top tips to stay cool starting with a reminder to have sun protection like shade and sunscreen. Claire added: 'If you're out and about take a cooling spray or mist with you to help keep your face and body cool and refresh skin in the warmer weather. If you're at home and have an electric fan, put some ice cubes in a bowl in front of it which will help to circulate ice cold air.' Staying hydrated is also vital in hotter weather. Claire recommended: 'Aim to drink a glass of water soon after waking and continue to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Carry a reusable bottle with you and avoid excess alcohol as this will dehydrate you.'

Eamonn Holmes 'booed and heckled' on stage as he accepts award at TRIC ceremony
At the 2025 TRIC Awards, former This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes accepted an award for Best News - but he was met with very mixed reactions Eamonn Holmes encountered a tense atmosphere at Tuesday's Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) awards as he collected the News award on behalf of GB News Breakfast. The 65-year-old presenter used a wheelchair ramp to access the stage, where he expressed gratitude to the production team and viewers. However, the moment was marred by audible boos from some attendees. A source present at the event told MailOnline: 'After GB News Breakfast was announced as the winner, there were a few boos around the room. Because of his wheelchair, Eamonn needed a ramp to get on stage.' Despite the reaction, Eamonn delivered a touching tribute to fellow presenter Charli Peters, who had earlier won the News Presenter award for his investigative work on grooming gangs in the UK. 'It was a nice moment, seeing Eamonn pay tribute to a colleague,' the insider added. 'But someone in the audience heckled for Eamonn to 'get off,' which made the end of his speech quite awkward.' It remains uncertain whether Eamonn heard the heckling. He concluded his speech warmly, saying: 'For the thousands of people who voted, that is brilliant for us so we say thank you, thank you, thank you, to anyone who did bother to vote." This marks the second year running that Eamonn has accepted the TRIC News award. Last year, he made his appearance with the aid of a walker and hinted at personal challenges, stating: 'So I got two things in my back that I didn't want,' seemingly referencing his medical procedure and his recent split from former co-host Ruth Langsford. Elsewhere at the ceremony, former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri shared her thoughts on her career direction following her recent split from Andrew Le Page, whom she met on the ITV2 dating show in 2022. The couple, who made it to the Love Island final, ended their relationship after more than two and a half years together. Speaking at the TRIC Awards in London, the 26-year-old said she is focusing on developing her presenting career rather than returning to reality dating shows. 'It's not for me personally,' Tasha admitted, referring to programs like Love Island: All Stars or Celebs Go Dating. She added, 'I know people find love on these shows but my dating shows are closed. I'm going down a different path now. It's something I'm really passionate about. I'm happily single but I'm open to love. I'd love a family.' Tasha's comments underline her desire to move beyond the reality TV spotlight and explore new opportunities in presenting, signaling a fresh chapter in her career.
