Cristiano Ronaldo's son, 14, scores his FIRST goal for Portugal and performs his father's iconic celebration before netting a brace with the U15s in Croatia
Playing for the national side's age-group outfit against Croatia, Ronaldo Jr., 14, broke the deadlock after just 11 minutes.
The goal came after the ball broke to him inside the 18-yard box, which he crashed home off the woodwork into the roof of the net.
He then paid homage to his father by whipping out the so-called 'SIU' celebration made famous by Ronaldo Sr.
The youngster was then mobbed by his ecstatic team-mates following the goal - and his day got even better as he scored a second just before the interval.
That restored Portugal's lead after they had been pegged back on level terms shortly after Ronaldo Jr's first strike.

His celebration and brace comes days after he made his debut for the team, Ronaldo Jr, 14, was named on the bench for Portugal's clash with Japan at the Vlatko Markovic international tournament in Croatia.
He came on as a substitute in the 54th minute as Portugal recorded a convincing 4-1 victory.
Following the game, his legendary father, 40, posted a heartwarming message to his son as the youngster continues to follow in his footsteps.
'Congratulations on your debut by @selecaoportugal, son. Very proud of you!' Ronaldo Sr wrote on X, alongside pictures of his son in action.
Ronaldo Jr donned the number seven shirt on his debut, the same jersey his father has famously worn at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
Having turned 40 in February, Ronaldo Sr is still playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, and has scored 33 goals in 39 appearances this season.
He has previously spoken about dreaming of playing in the same team as his son before hanging up his boots, and Jr making his debut for Portugal's Under-15s on Tuesday indicated this could still be a realistic aim.
Ronaldo Sr made his senior Portugal debut in 2003 at the age of 18, and looks set to play in his sixth World Cup next year.
His son will turn 15 next month, and may have to fast-track his development if he is to play alongside Ronaldo Sr.

Newcastle United hit back at Alexander Isak's social media statement
Newcastle United have rejected striker Alexander Isak 's claim that he was promised a summer exit, stating he remains under contract. Isak accused the club of 'broken promises' and declared 'trust is lost', asserting that a transfer is now in everyone's best interest. The club issued a strong statement denying any such commitment and indicated that the conditions for a sale, including a rejected £110m bid from Liverpool, would not be met. Isak has not featured for Newcastle in pre-season or their opening league match, reportedly due to a thigh injury, and is training separately. The dispute comes as Newcastle began the season without a recognised striker, having failed to secure other transfer targets.

Will 'bold and ambitious' spending pay off?
I think it is fair to say Sunderland have defied all expectations when it comes to their summer only in terms of the money spent but in the number of players fans instinctively knew Sunderland's squad from the Championship needed strengthening for the Premier League campaign. Five or six players with Premier League experience would conservatively have been a lot of people's estimation, but as to how much they would cost and whether that would be enough was always going to be the big question. No-one really knew how much owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus would be prepared to spend with his model of sustainability at the forefront of everything the club has done in his tenure. He and his team have blown everyone away with the money spent but also with the quality of the players signed. Granit Xhaka is the standout example, but he's not the only one. Habib Diarra, Omar Alderete, Noah Sadiki, Simon Adingra, the list goes defeat of West Ham, albeit only one game, suggested all these players are comfortable in their Premier League skin. The bonus was their three goals were scored by three players who came up with the team from the a bold and ambitious bid to stay up but Sunderland fans are certainly backing them to do so. How does it compare to other promoted clubs? According to transfermarkt,, external Sunderland now top the all-time list for amount spent by a promoted club in the Premier a summer spend of £142m so far, both them, and fellow promoted side Burnley - who have spent £109m - are hoping for a solid return on their far as the numbers go, the other four teams to have spent big upon their Premier League return have had mixed Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest narrowly avoided the drop after busy summer windows following promotion, but are now playing in last summer saw Southampton an Ipswich finish as the bottom two sides in the league.

Why would Fulham let Muniz leave?
Since Fulham's return to the Premier League in 2022, only Raul Jimenez (19) has scored more league goals for the club than Rodrigo Muniz's in that period Jimenez has averaged a goal every 209 minutes while Muniz has averaged one every 143 minutes - only bettered by Manor Solomon during his streaky loan in the 2023-24 fact, since his Premier League debut, of players to have played the same amount of games as him or more (58), only Erling Haaland, Mohammed Salah, Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson boast a better minutes per goal record in the 24-year-old's 93 shots is only behind Jimenez and Andreas Pereira and his big chance conversion rate of 64% from 25 big chances is the best for any Cottagers player to have 10 or more big chances aside from the departed Bobby Decordova-Reid's 64.3% from is perhaps surprising therefore that Muniz has been constantly linked with a move away from West London this summer. However, after his late opening day equaliser off the bench against Brighton on Saturday, it was reported in the BBC Sport Gossip Column today that a move to Serie A side Atlanta is off after Fulham rejected a £35m Sport fan writer Drew Heatley wrote in his column this week, external that it is time to "pass the torch" from Jimenez - 10 years Muniz's senior at 34 - to the Brazilian and give him the increased game time and wages he is his effectiveness in front of goal when afforded the opportunity, it is hard to see where Fulham would find a suitable replacement for him at this stage of the transfer given the love has been shown by the fans, a decision to allow Muniz to leave would not be popular.
