Bihar BSEB OFSS 2025 deadline extended for class 11 admission: Check new schedule here
Bihar School Examination Board
(
BSEB
) has extended the admission deadline for Class 11 under the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) until July 3, 2025. Initially, the first merit list was released on June 4 and students were given time till June 10 to confirm admission.
The window was later extended to June 28 and now, in a significant relief to many, the board has offered a final extension. This decision aims to accommodate students who faced issues in securing their admissions on time. Those who miss this deadline risk losing their allotted seat, which will be marked vacant. The extension also gives fresh applicants an opportunity to submit new option forms for the second merit list.
BSEB OFSS 2025 admission process
Students allotted a seat in the first merit list must visit their designated school or college with the intimation letter downloaded from
ofssbihar.net
. They must complete admission formalities—document verification and fee payment—before July 3. If a student fails to confirm admission within this period, their seat will be declared vacant and removed from the portal.
Candidates who were not allotted any seat in the first round can now fill out a fresh option form to be considered in the second merit list.

It's important to ensure that all selections and preferences are updated accurately in the portal before the final submission.
Second merit list timeline
Institutions have also been instructed to upload daily admission records from June 30 to July 4. These uploads are mandatory to ensure transparency and availability of remaining seats for the next merit round. Based on these records, BSEB will prepare the second merit list, expected to be released shortly after the deadline.
Students are advised to keep checking the official website and stay in touch with their allotted institutions. For any queries or technical support, they can contact the BSEB helpline at 0612-2230009.
What's next?
Once the extended deadline closes, BSEB will compile updated admission data and publish the second merit list. This list will offer fresh allotments based on remaining vacancies and student preferences. Those who miss the first round still have a strong chance of securing a seat through this second opportunity. Students are advised to check
ofssbihar.net
regularly for updates and ensure they respond promptly once the next merit list is released.

Gadag: Karnataka State Bioenergy Development Board (KSBDB) chairman SE Sudheendra stated that all preliminary activities for the formulation of a new biofuel policy in the state have already been completed. The new biofuel policy will be announced soon by the state govt, and guidelines for its implementation have already been prepared. Inaugurating the Sadbhavana Day, Renewable Energy Day, and World Biofuel Day celebrations, organised by KSBDB at the Rural Development University on Wednesday, Sudhindra explained that an investment of over Rs 1 lakh crore is expected in the biofuel sector over the next five years. "This will create over three lakh direct and indirect jobs, increase the income of farmers' families, and provide encouragement to young entrepreneurs. The coming five years will be crucial for the development of the biofuel sector in Karnataka," he asserted. Sadbhavana Day and Renewable Energy Day are celebrated to highlight the advancements in science, technology, information, and life sciences in the 21st century. In the current scenario, the enhancement and commercialisation of the biofuel sector are essential. Various states are leading in biofuel production, and the board must also formulate plans in this direction, he said. Gadag deputy conservator of forests Santosh Kenchappannavar mentioned that the country has seen the Green Revolution and White Revolution. Now, the biofuel revolution will complement the country's development. Previously, importance was given only to fuels produced from trees and plants. Recently, ethanol production from sugarcane has increased. Electricity is being generated from raw material obtained by burning sugarcane waste. The increased production of biofuel from sugar factories is strengthening the energy sector. Stay updated with the latest local news from your city on Times of India (TOI). Aizawl: The Mizoram commerce and industries department on Wednesday organised a one-day workshop on the promotion, development and empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Aizawl, reports HC Vanlalruata. The workshop brought together key policymakers, industry leaders and entrepreneurs to deliberate on strategies to strengthen the MSME ecosystem in the state. Emphasising that MSMEs are more than just businesses — especially in a state where over 50% of the population lives in rural areas — he discussed the state's growth potential in food processing, eco-tourism and related sectors. He said 44% of enterprises registered in Mizoram fall under the MSME category. The chief secretary also outlined challenges faced by the sector, including limited infrastructure, lack of market access and regulatory bottlenecks. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo He reaffirmed the Govt of India's commitment to support Mizoram, highlighting the flagship 'Handholding Scheme' under which loans worth ₹50 crore have already been disbursed.
