Mars The Label in first-ever retail partnership as it links with Flannels
Featuring sculpted styles 'designed for confident, fashion-forward women who value both bold silhouettes and wearable glamour', the Flannels collab 'introduces a new era of visibility for Mars the Label' via 35 Flannels and Frasers locations across the UK.
From 'denim sets to loungewear, corsets to trousers', the collection's bestsellers have been reimagined in fresh colourways while there will also be Flannels/Frasers exclusive pieces.
Brand founder Arianna Ajtar said: 'This partnership is 10 months in the making. What started as a dream in my dad's garage nine years ago has grown beyond my wildest dreams into a movement that empowers women to look and feel their best.
'Now being stocked in Flannels feels like the next chapter we've been building towards. This moment is proof that women-led, independent fashion brands can take up space on the main stage.'

White House starts TikTok account as platform in US legal limbo
The TikTok Inc. building is seen in Culver City, California on March 17, 2023. DAMIAN DOVARGANES / AP The White House launched a TikTok account on Tuesday, August 19, as President Donald Trump continues to permit the Chinese-owned platform to operate in the United States despite a law requiring its sale. "America we are BACK! What's up TikTok?" read a caption on the account's first post on the popular video sharing app, a 27-second clip. The account had about 4,500 followers an hour after posting the video. Trump's personal account on TikTok meanwhile has 110.1 million followers, though his last post was on November 5, 2024 – Election Day. TikTok is owned by China-based internet company ByteDance. A federal law requiring TikTok's sale or ban on national security grounds was due to take effect the day before Trump's inauguration on January 20. But the Republican, whose 2024 election campaign relied heavily on social media and who has said he is fond of TikTok, put the ban on pause. In mid-June, Trump extended a deadline for the popular video-sharing app by another 90 days to find a non-Chinese buyer or be banned in the United States. That extension is due to expire in mid-September. While Trump had long supported a ban or divestment, he reversed his position and vowed to defend the platform – which boasts almost two billion global users – after coming to believe it helped him win young voters' support in the November election. Trump's official account on X, formerly Twitter, has 108.5 million followers – though his favored social media outlet is Truth Social, which he owns, where he has 10.6 million followers. The official White House accounts on X and Instagram have 2.4 million and 9.3 million followers, respectively. Le Monde with AFP Reuse this content

Vuori makes big push into tennis, links up with British star Jack Draper
Tennis has been having an ongoing big fashion moment in recent years and it's increasingly a sport with which labels want to be connected. The latest news is that Vuori, the Californian performance and lifestyle brand, has announced a 'pivotal' multi-year partnership with 'global tennis sensation Jack Draper'. Professional tennis player Draper conveniently combines his sporting prowess with being a model and will serve as a global brand ambassador for the label. The partnership officially debuts with Draper wearing Vuori at this year's US Open Tennis Championships. He'll also develop a signature line with the brand to be launched at a later date. 'Jack represents the next generation of tennis—bold, driven, and authentic,' said Joe Kudla, founder and CEO of Vuori. The top-ranked British tennis player turned pro in 2018 and won multiple ATP Challenger titles. By 2023, he was in the top 50 players globally and in June, he achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 4'. That said, as of last week he was ranked fifth. But his undeniable good looks, as well as his 'sportsmanship, relentless work ethic, and dedication to philanthropy' have raised his profile far beyond his tennis ranking at any given time so the appeal to Vuori is understandable. 'For me, style is about how you carry yourself, what you wear, and owning who you are without hesitation,' Draper said. 'As I've grown up, I've really embraced style as a form of self-expression, and whether it's shaving my head or trying something bold, I just go for it. That's why collaborating with Vuori is so exciting. It's a chance to create something innovative, performance-driven, and authentic, with no compromises.' Meanwhile Vuirori added that the partnership with Draper 'marks a bold move in the tennis world and underscores the brand's expanding global reach and influence across sport, style, and wellness'.
