Both are suspended and have been transfer-listed by the French club.
The pair clashed in the dressing room after Friday's opening 1-0 Ligue 1 loss at Rennes.
Ex-Norwich winger Rowe, 22, now looks increasingly likely to join Bologna.
Yet sources claim Rowe, who joined Marseille from the Canaries 12 months ago, did not instigate the row which saw both players come to blows.
Stunned team-mates who witnessed it included former Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood — and the blame was put on Rabiot.
Neither are now training with the first team ahead of Saturday's home clash with Paris FC.
Marseille said the pair's punishment was 'due to unacceptable behaviour and in accordance with the club's internal code of conduct'.

Football transfer rumours: Spurs eye Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche? Tyler Dibling to Palace?

After all the excitement surrounding the prospect of Savinho leaving Manchester City to join Tottenham, it might eventually transpire that the Londoners are not willing to pay a whopping £70m for a winger who does not score. Therefore they need to construct a cunning plan B. Conveniently this is already on the big blackboard in the recruitment room. Maghnes Akliouche of Monaco is the second option and would be considerable cheaper than the Brazilian, coming in at round £47.5m. Tottenham, as is well-documented, are in talks over the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. If that goes through, one potential replacement for the winger at Selhurst Park is Southampton's Tyler Dibling, who is still waiting for his big summer move after interest from Nottingham Forest, Everton and some Bundesliga clubs. Nicolas Jackson's name has cropped up on more days than not in this daily column of transfer tittle-tattle. Needless to say, a lot of what is said about the striker has little substance but the latest talk might not head into the ether quite so soon. Aston Villa really need a new No 9 and Chelsea are quite eager to get rid of the Senegalese frontman, which could make this a gloriously symbiotic move for everyone. As the opening weekend proved, Wolves and West Ham really need to do some business before the window slams in their faces. It might not therefore be particularly helpful that they both want the same player, nor to mention it might be difficult to convince Marc Casadó boyhood club Barcelona to move to Premier League teams who will almost certainly struggle this season but it is worth a try. Everything is going swimmingly at Marseille after one game this season. And by that, we mean it's absolute chaos. An opening night defeat to Rennes on Friday concluded with England Under-21 international Jonathan Rowe have a good old fashioned dustup with teammate Adrien Rabiot, a man no stranger to controversy. Both were almost immediately placed on the transfer list. The good news for Rowe is that he is already in talks with Bologna about going to Italy, only a couple of months after completing a permanent move to the south of France from Norwich. Rabiot, one assumes, will be linked with every Premier League club as he has been for most of the past decade. Veteran striker Jamie Vardy is still looking for a new club after leaving Leicester. The 38-year-old still has plenty to give despite his veteran status and has been linked with a move north of the border to Celtic where he would link up with his former Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers. 'Listen, I would not speak about any individual player,' said Rodgers of the rumours. 'Of course I worked really well with Jamie, he was brilliant for me in my time at Leicester. But there's been so many names floated about. I wouldn't disclose either way.' Elsewhere in the Championship, the former West Ham forward Dapo Afolayan may St Pauli leave St Pauli this month and is wanted by Leicester, West Brom and Blackburn. There's also interest in Belgium from Gent and Genk.

England U21 hero put up for sale after ONE game due to dressing room spat

Marseille signed England U21 star Jonathan Rowe in the summer but have put the winger up for sale after just one game following a dressing room row with a team-mate One of England's Under-21 stars from the summer, Jonathan Rowe, has been put up for sale by Marseille just one game after signing for the French club. ‌ He has been involved in a dressing-room bust-up with Adrien Rabiot and the Ligue 1 giants are ready to get rid of both players immediately. Rowe scored the winner for England's U21s when they claimed glory in Slovakia, seeing off Germany in extra-time. ‌ The winger had spent last season on loan at Marseille, but this summer joined permanently from Norwich. However his stay could be short lived with RMC Sport now reporting that he is available for a transfer. It comes after he and the French midfielder were involved in 'unacceptable behaviour' following a 1-0 defeat away to Rennes ‌ It is understood that the two players had to be separated after they blamed each other for the loss - which saw Roberto De Zerbi's side concede a stoppage-time winner despite playing with an extra man for more than an hour. Marseille have claimed that the decision was taken as a collective one taken by the club's senior staff, but is not the first time that De Zerbi has taken hard line when it comes to his player's discipline. The French giants explained their extreme decision in a statement on Tuesday. 'Olympique de Marseille announces that Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe have been placed on the transfer list by the club,' the statement read. 'This decision was taken due to unacceptable behaviour in the dressing room after the match against Stade Rennais FC, in agreement with the technical staff and in accordance with the club's internal code of conduct. The decision was communicated to the two players by the club on Monday.' The row in Marseille the dressing room was heard by journalists and the former Brighton boss made it known that his players had clashed when he addressed the media. Radio station Ici Provence quoted the Italian's translator as he said: 'The others beat us on the pitch and we come back and beat each other here. Do you know what that means? That we have small balls. Whereas in Marseille, we must have big ones.' Marseille finished second last term, but were miles off the pace set by treble winners PSG. The French side added a number of ex-Premier League players this summer with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg signing from Tottenham and Angel Gomes joining from Lille on a free.

Hailing from Slovenia, the 22-year-old played for RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig before joining United. And accompanying him on his football journey is stunning older girlfriend Anita Vidovic, 27. The pair have been together since 2022 and have become a star couple in their homeland. Anita is a graduate of the Faculty of Public Administration back in Slovenia. And Sesko has shared several loved-up snaps of them together throughout the years. Anita also has a famous brother who was once a footballer himself. Boris Vidovic used to play in the lower leagues of Germany and Poland. But he discovered new fame earlier this year when he became a contestant on Love Island. Following his move to United, Sesko is now thought to be earning £160,000-a-week. How Arsenal survived Man Utd's attacks with 'forcefield defence' 14 14 14 And fans have been left hoping that he upgrades his car as soon as possible. Sesko caused controversy on his first day at Carrington as he rocked up in a bold red jeep. The gas guzzler stood out amongst the sleeker sports cars at United's training ground. And supporters branded it 'tacky' while also adding: 'Hope he's better than his taste in cars.' Away from the beautiful game, Sesko has shown that he likes to unwind with games of basketball. 14 14 14 14 14 He recently posted a picture of himself dunking a ball in a hoop. And at 6ft 5in, Sesko's height would have made him a formidable player in another life. But all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. And Sesko certainly loves to unwindwith trips away in the sun. He spent New Year in Dubai, taking in the sights and sounds of the Middle Eastern city. Sesko has also spent time recharging his batteries in the beautiful surroundings of Greece.
