‘Too much free time': Brooklyn Beckham's vow renewal doesn't go down well
The couple, no strangers to being called 'out of touch,' recommitted to each other in a private celebration at the Peltz family estate just outside of New York City and it has already become a controversial event.
The pair re-said their vows fresh from a European vacation – although it's unclear if either of them actually had 9-5 work to take a break from.
Once they'd said 'I do' all over again, they both separately flocked to social media to share photos from their intimate vow renewal.
It quickly became very clear that none of Brooklyn's close family were in attendance.
Brooklyn's siblings and parents are all on vacation together in Europe, Posh Spice was AWOL but Nicola's billionaire gang was front and centre.
This has certainly done nothing to squash rumours that Brooklyn has fallen out with his famous family – a rumour that been plaguing the 26-year-old since he tied the knot three years ago.
It was spotlighted by the fact that Nicola opted not to wear one of Victoria Beckman's designs on her wedding day.
For their vow renewal Nicola continued to not wear a Victoria Beckham design and instead paid homage to her own mother.
She wore a repurposed version of her mum's wedding dress from 1985. She even added a tiara.
On Instagram, Brooklyn shared their new wedding photos, captioning them, 'Forever my girl.' In another post, he wrote, 'My only love', but their lovefest didn't go down well on social media.
In fact, their vow renewals raised eyebrows for two separate reasons. Firstly, people are not fond of the grand display of wealth during a cost of living crisis.
'Just a bunch of rich kids wondering what to do with their parent's money and excessive free time,' one claimed.
'It is a gratuitous display of wealth. A completely unnecessary event,' another argued.
'When you're rich and have too much free time on your hands,' someone else joked.
'Renewed vows already? I think they need jobs,' one said.
'This is so cringe and desperate,' someone else said.
'Too much money and too much time. No goals and nothing else better to do,' one noted.
If people weren't fuming over what some claimed was an 'unnecessary' second wedding, they were stunned that the 26-year-old would have a second wedding with none of his immediate family in attendance.
'Heartbreaking for his parents,' one wrote, while another called it 'spiteful' and someone else declared it to be 'awful behaviour'.
'Such an embarrassment. What are you doing?' another asked.
Yet another social media user went as far to claim the photos looked 'staged' and said the vow renewal looked like a thinly veiled attempt to 'piss off' his parents.

Wedding act could signal relationship danger, experts say
It seems like every week, there's a new video of a groom smashing wedding cake into his new wife's face. One story went viral not long ago after a woman decided to divorce her husband just a day after they tied the knot. She told him her 'one rule' was not to smash cake in her face because she was claustrophobic from a car accident, and yet he still did it. Another nasty incident involved a groom chasing the bride into a corner of the venue as she begged him not to smash cake on her. He knocked her to the ground, smeared cake on her dress, then walked away smugly while the guests watched on in horror. One TikToker said she even walked out of her own wedding reception after her husband pulled a similar stunt. 'H smashed a wedding cake on my face and ruined my $1600 bridal makeup. But he actually ended up saving me $50,000 in divorce fees,' Louisa Melcher said. Another bride shared on Reddit how she had an uncomfortable history with 'cake smashing,' stemming from her mother pushing her face into her birthday cakes while she was growing up. After telling her partner about this, he still smashed a cake into her face on the big day. Under all these comment sections, the same debate always emerges. Is this an innocent act of fun, or a form of abuse disguised as a prank? Wedding cake rituals are ancient traditions. In ancient Rome, the groom would sprinkle barley crumbs over the bride's head to symbolise dominance and fertility. Over time, this shifted to exchanging bites of cake, representing mutual care, often played out in lighthearted ways like patting icing on each other's faces. Recently, with the rise of TikTok and viral video platforms, 'cake smashing' has become more popular, where one partner – usually the groom – forcefully smashes cake into the bride's face. While some couples enjoy and even plan such moments, many of the ones that go viral are the one-sided, violent-looking attacks. In situations where wedding cakes aren't involved, acts involving striking someone with an object or restraining them against their will might be considered abuse. Therefore, a common online view is that husbands who partake in the 'cake smashing' trend against their partner's will – especially if their partner is embarrassed or physically hurt – are likely violent at home. Psychologist Carly Dober told that when cake smashing is done against a partner's wishes, it can be 'disrespectful' and 'demeaning,' ultimately showing someone is putting their enjoyment above their partner's feelings. 'It's selfish, uncaring and also shows a lack of communication and respect, and this can be a sign of future issues,' the owner of Enriching Lives Psychology said. 'Most people want their wedding day to be memorable and to look back on it with happy memories. 'Over time, it could lead to sadness, depression, resentment, low self-esteem, and ongoing relationship issues if trust is damaged.' Of course, not all cake smashes are violent, but etiquette expert Kate Heussler suggests couples should proceed with caution when planning stunts such as this. 'You want everyone to feel safe, seen and respected, so couples should chat about boundaries well before the wedding day and during planning,' she said. 'It's about checking if your humour and values match.' She recommends couples ask each other: – 'How do you feel about surprises at the wedding – do you love them, or would you rather know what's coming?' – 'Are there any traditions or trends you absolutely do or don't want to participate in?' – 'If something goes wrong or I make a mistake on the day, how would you handle it?' – 'Is there anything you'd find embarrassing, disrespectful, or a deal-breaker in front of guests?'

Pierce Brosnan's son pops up in rare red carpet appearance
Pierce Brosnan's son Dylan Brosnan is one tall lad. The 28-year-old towered over his famous dad in a sweet red carpet appearance Thursday. The father-son duo stepped out for a New York City screening of Pierce's forthcoming movie, The Thursday Murder Club, posing for pictures together at the Plaza Hotel before heading to the Paris Theater, per Page Six. For the outing, the 72-year-old actor, most famous for his portrayal of James Bond, looked dapper in a cream-coloured suit jacket, which he wore buttoned and atop a matching shirt. He completed his sleek ensemble with a black polka-dot tie, a black pocket square, black slacks and black dress shoes. Meanwhile, Dylan — a filmmaker who graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts in May 2020 — opted for a more retro, loose-fitting Gray suit, which he wore unbuttoned and paired with a white collared shirt, black-and-white-striped tie and black dress shoes. He wore his brown shoulder-length hair combed back in a wispy 'do. The pair stood next to each other with one arm wrapped around the other and one hand in a pant pocket as the shutterbugs snapped away. Pierce shares Dylan and his 24-year-old brother, Paris Brosnan, with his wife, Keely Shaye Smith. The Golden Globe nominee was joined by both Dylan and Paris in his June film, The Unholy Trinity, which marked the siblings' big-screen debut. 'To be able to share that with them is a gift of time and memory,' Pierce told People at the time, describing the emotion as 'beautiful.' 'We always stayed together tight as a family unit during the days of James Bond, and now, of course, as they're older, here to be able to make movies with Dad,' he added, emphasising that he 'would jump into the trenches any day of the week with' his sons, as the trio travels 'well together.' Pierce shared his daughter, Charlotte Brosnan, and sons Christopher Brosnan, 52, and Sean Brosnan, 41, with his first wife, Cassandra Harris, who died of ovarian cancer in December 1991. She was 43. Charlotte died of the same disease in June 2013 at the age of 41.

‘Never shared this before': Star posts shock video crying and shaking
Tammy Hembrow has shared a deeply personal video montage revealing the emotional turmoil she experienced during her marriage to Matt Zukowski – further fuelling speculation about the real story behind their recent split. The 31-year-old fitness mogul, who has been at the centre of a fresh media storm after her high-profile date with AFL star Bailey Smith, took to Instagram on Saturday morning with a vulnerable post. The clip shows Hembrow crying, shaking and breaking down, with her wedding rings clearly visible in many of the clips, confirming these were filmed while she was still in her marriage. The clip opens with text that says: 'It felt like the heaviness would never end,' and shows the mum-of-three trembling mid-breakdown, even crying uncontrollably while brushing her hair. The montage then takes an uplifting turn, with the final clips showing Hembrow smiling and laughing with her friends and family, on holidays, and by the beach. 'But then I noticed the light creeping back in,' the text on screen says. The emotional clip was set to The Cinematic Orchestra's 'To Build A Home'. She paired the video, which amassed 2.5 million views in three hours, with a long message to her followers. 'I made this so long ago and honestly never thought I'd share it. Watching it back makes me genuinely feel ill. But with everything happening right now, if there was ever a time to share it … it's now,' the Saski activewear founder said. 'I'm posting this for the person who feels like they're drowning the way I once did. The person who can't see a way forward. I want you to know, it does get better. I PROMISE you. 'Some traumas shake you so deeply, they change the way you see literally everything. The world, the people around you … and even yourself. But little by little, the light comes back. 'No one else knows your whole story. No one has felt what you've felt, seen what you've seen, or carried what you've carried. This is your life, your journey … but you are not alone in it. 'One day you'll look back and realise you survived what you thought would break you.' The post was instantly flooded with messages of support. 'You've come a long way,' one of her friends, Olivia Phillips, said. Then her sister, Amy, wrote, 'My heart was breaking for you during this time'. Hembrow later took to her Stories to shed some light on why she posted the clip. 'It feels so weird posting that video,' she said. 'But when I was going through that, seeing videos like that helped me so much, so if I can do that for one person, that's all I want.' She then hit back at some commenters who questioned why she filmed videos of herself crying. 'I don't usually film myself crying mid-breakdown, most of those videos I was talking in them and sending to my sister,' she explained. Hembrow's candid post came just days after she was spotted with Bailey Smith at a lunch date in the Gold Coast, with their not-so-discreet outing taking social media by storm. The high-profile date, which was two months after her divorce from Zukowski, led to a range of backlash online, from people who shamed her for moving on 'so quickly'. A community football coach was even sacked yesterday after making a crude social media remark about the situation. The Harvey Brunswick Leschenault Football Club confirmed on Friday that coach John Baggetta had been terminated after he posted an offensive slur to Facebook, where he referred to Hembrow as a 'c** bucket'. The full comment read: 'He's trying to keep his relevance and she's a c** bucket'. Meanwhile, Zukowski, who was married to Hembrow for seven months, released a podcast episode yesterday, speaking about their divorce and saying it 'sucked' seeing his ex move on with someone else. He even claimed that he was the one to end the relationship, saying 'I made one of the hardest decisions of my life. I decided to leave a relationship that I found was not right for me. It was unhealthy for me. And I made the decision for my mental health to leave'. Now, Hembrow's video seems to have gone live in direct response to Zukowski's bold claims, where he presented himself as the one who was unhappy in the marriage. Hembrow's unfiltered video showing her side of the story, and at her lowest, appears as her attempt to offer insight into her reality during the marriage. Other than this clip, Hembrow has seemingly been handling the media frenzy this week quite lightly, posting TikToks calling her haters 'boring' and even cheekily wearing Smith's jacket in one of them.
