A dog's unexpected photoshoot while waiting to be picked up from a grooming salon has left his owner—and thousands of viewers on Reddit in hysterics.
"Took my dog for a groom today and while on my way to pick him up she sent me this," the dog's owner, who goes by u/danpos, wrote in a post to the platform on June 7.
Accompanying the text was a high-resolution image of their freshly-groomed cocker spaniel, staring into a camera lens while dazzling in a small cowboy hat.
"I love his dumb little mustache, we call him Mustache Man quite frequently and it's on point here," the dog's owner said in the comments.
They later added: "Me and my wife were crying with laughter when we saw it."
To date, more than 2,600 viewers have upvoted the post, with more than 40 gushing over the surprise image and the dog's nonchalant pose in the comments.
"Sir Reginald Barkington reporting for tea and biscuits," one viewer said. "Please mind the pawprints."
"I can see Sir Reginald Barkington having his tea and biscuits under the old magnolia tree in the backyard," another added.
"Handsome fellow," another said.
"My brain keeps adding a pipe to the picture even when I know that good pup doesn't smoke," another commented.
"I can't stand it," another viewer said. "The cuteness factor is off the charts...I know the animals usually don't like it...I know I'm being selfish for liking an animal in a hat...I'm sorry...I'm weak...But this is too cute and funny...Thank you."
"Such a distinguished gentleman," another said. "Too cute."
"While hilarious and adorable, he also looks p***** off," another added.
"Tiny hats on cute dogs should be the law," another said.
"This is the cutest thing I've seen today," another added. "I don't know why, but it [kind of] brought a tear to my eye...In the best way...What a sweet heart."
"Awww," another said. "He wants to be a cowboy!"
"I have [pictures] like this from every haircut my little man got," another commented. "But he always looks p***** in them, your guy is gorgeous."

Mom and Dad Return Home—It's Clear Which One Is Golden Retriever's Favorite
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A golden retriever named Smith who has two separate reactions to each of his owners returning home left the internet in stitches. In a June 3 video posted to TikTok by @ a couple returned home to Smith. The dog's mom wanted to capture what happens when each one comes home, as the pup has extremely different reactions to both of his humans. She opened the door to Smith waiting front and center, wagging his tail. While he's excited to see her, Smith is used to her being home. She told Newsweek via TikTok that she works from home and spends nearly all day with him, minus the times she'll run out for quick errands. The TikTok video continues to show how a whole new set of emotions overcame Smith when he got one quick whiff of dad's scent. The dog sprinted out the door, forgetting all about mom, who was still petting his head. His tail sped up at the sight of dad. Bracing for impact, the dad placed his bag on the ground. Smith proceeded to jump up and down, smothering him with kisses. Meanwhile, the mom stood and watched Smith's over-the-top way of greeting his dad. She said she's accepted the fact that this is how it normally goes with Smith's reactions to them coming home. She doesn't fault him, noting she knows she gets more time with Smith than her husband. As the video's caption reads, "No offense, mom!" this owner knows it's nothing personal. "...When I come home from running out quickly, it's not anything exciting," she said. "But when his dad comes home from work every night, it's like a reunion every time!" People couldn't stop laughing at Smith quickly abandoning his mom to greet his dad. One user wrote: "This child clearly has a favourite." Another posted: "Looks like u the spare human." And a third user commented: "I'd be heartbroken." Several people felt her pain, sharing similar experiences, with one writing: "I had my dog for 14 years before meeting my boyfriend, they met ONE TIME and motherducker instantly forgot who fed him for his whole life!!" Flight passengers reveal jaw-dropping behavior in ‘weirdest things' they have seen
In the 'r/delta' forum on Reddit, a user posted a provocative question recently. 'What's the weirdest thing to happen to you on a plane?' the person asked — garnering some 2,000 reactions to date. Advertisement The user opened up the discussion by sharing a photo of a flight passenger playing a wooden recorder while sitting in a window seat. 'On landing/taxi, this fine gentleman pulled out his recorder and played 'Amazing Grace' for the other 100 or so people on the plane,' the user wrote. 'I'm quite happy he waited until the end of the flight.' The user added that it was 'by far the absolute weirdest thing I've seen inside an aircraft.' Other Redditors took to the comments section to share the wildest actions they'd seen while traveling 30,000 feet high in the sky. Advertisement 'I got stuck in a middle seat years ago next to a young woman carrying an almost life-sized doll head with a full head of messy hair,' one user wrote. 'And no, she wasn't a hairdresser.' Another user said, 'I don't like it when people clip their toenails. I've seen it three times. Twice [in] a row across from me and another time in my same row.' Commented another person, 'A woman put her rooster in the overhead bin, but it got loose.' 4 A discussion on airplane passenger etiquette needs to be had. Julian – Advertisement Wrote one individual, 'A woman across the aisle from me brought spaghetti and meatballs with her onto the plane, but she must have been in a rush because she was eating it out of one of those plastic thank-you bags.' Another Redditor said there was an 'old dude who kept asking me questions about my job even after I put my headphones on (multiple times) to work — couldn't take a hint and then said I was rude for not talking to him.' Said yet another person, 'My wife and I were sitting in 1C and 1D. The guy in 1B pulled out dental floss after the meal and started going at his mouth like he was giving himself a root canal. Full-on two-handed flossing right in his seat.' 4 'I don't like it when people clip their toenails. I've seen it three times. Twice [in] a row across from me and another time in my same row.' EdNurg – Advertisement A user wrote, 'The weirdest I've seen was someone changing their baby's diaper on their seatback table. Yep, the entire plane smelled of dirty diaper for the rest of the flight.' Another user described this: 'Donald and Melania Trump impersonators [were in the] first row on a Southwest Flight. The impersonator knew that I had done a double take when I passed him by. I guess most [people] do.' Gary Leff, a Texas-based travel industry expert and author of the blog 'View From the Wing,' told Fox News Digital that flight passengers need to be mindful of others. 4 'The entire plane smelled of dirty diaper for the rest of the flight.' EdNurg – 'Passengers have a zone of personal space on the plane that roughly corresponds to the area of their seat,' said Leff. 'Within that space, there are all [types] of behavior that might come under criticism (usually in the realm of personal hygiene and grooming), but it really comes down to the discretion of the individual,' he added. Former flight attendant and Florida-based etiquette expert Jacqueline Whitmore told Fox News Digital about different ways in which passengers can practice proper etiquette on flights. Advertisement Whitmore also noted that it's important to practice spatial awareness. 'The seats may be getting smaller by the day, but that doesn't give you the right to spill over into someone else's space or put your head on another person's shoulder — unless, of course, you know that person well.' As for passengers who opt to remove their shoes, Whitmore suggested putting on a pair of socks. 4 Flight attendants urge those who would like to take off their shoes to at least wear socks. ThamKC – Advertisement 'From an etiquette standpoint, it is rude to walk about barefooted in a public place as many germs can be transmitted from your feet,' Whitmore told Fox News Digital. Leff noted that flying has become more affordable and democratized. 'What that means is that all sorts of different people with different customs and expectations are now thrown together inside a metal tube,' he said. 'Then add in that people may be afraid to fly, or are traveling for emotionally stressful reasons, such as visiting family, leaving home (or escaping a bad home situation) or going to a funeral,' he said. 'Air travel brings together disparate people in stressful times who act as though they're in private.' Advertisement Leff said that he's seen people drinking too much, arguing with a spouse and traveling barefoot. 'Humans are strange creatures, indeed,' he added.

WWE Takes Extra Precautions After Scary Roxanne Perez Incident
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Following a disturbing series of online threats, WWE has been taking increased security measures to ensure the safety of RAW superstar Roxanne Perez. The company is reportedly monitoring the situation very closely. During her scheduled appearance at the Money in the Bank Superstore in Santa Monica this past weekend, officials took extra precautions. According to a report from Fightful Select, there was a heightened security presence for her photo-op. This action comes after the 23-year-old was the victim of doxxing and death threats from an online stalker. The individual allegedly posted what they claimed was her home address and made direct threats on social media earlier this month. The situation became so alarming that it prompted a public response from WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. At the time, Pearce confirmed that the threats had been reported to the appropriate authorities. Thank you to everyone who made me aware." Despite the frightening circumstances, Perez has continued to fulfill her professional obligations with remarkable composure. She competed in her first-ever Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Saturday night, just one day after teaming with Naomi and Giulia on SmackDown. SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 17: Roxanne Perez surprises Bayley from the stands during Smackdown at Pechanga Arena on January 17, 2025 in San Diego, California. The threats against Perez are part of a concerning trend of harassment targeting professional wrestlers. These incidents highlight public figures' serious safety challenges and the necessity of a proactive approach from promotions like WWE. Since signing in March 2022, Perez has had a highly decorated career in WWE. She immediately made her mark in NXT by winning the inaugural NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, which earned her a championship contract. She and her friend Cora Jade then captured the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship at The Great American Bash in 2022. After Jade turned on her, costing her a shot at the NXT Women's Championship and vacating the tag titles, Perez embarked on a singles run. In December 2022, she won the first-ever Women's Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. Just three days later, she defeated Mandy Rose to win her first NXT Women's Championship. After losing the title, Perez underwent a character change, turning heel in early 2024. This led her to capture the NXT Women's Championship for a second time at Stand & Deliver 2024 by defeating Lyra Valkyria. After a dominant second reign, Perez officially joined the main roster as part of the Raw brand in May 2025. She quickly qualified for her first Money in the Bank ladder match, solidifying her status as a top rising star in the company. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.
