Oscar winner Charlize Theron narrates Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 Netflix trailer
Ahead of a historic boxing card next month, Netflix has dropped a new trailer featuring a Oscar winner.
Charlize Theron, a three-time Oscar nominee and winner in 2004 for Best Actress, narrates a new piece to promote the upcoming trilogy boxing match between Katie Taylor or Amanda Serrano, who fight for the undisputed super lightweight title July 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Serrano and Taylor are two of the biggest stars in women's boxing today. Not only will the event be the first all-female boxing card in MSG history, it also will have more belts on the line – 21 – than at any other event in the modern-belt era.
The Taylor-Serrano trilogy fight is being put on by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.
Here's how Netflix describes its next foray into live combat sports:
"Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix announced Taylor vs. Serrano 3, the highly anticipated trilogy bout between Ireland's pound-for-pound great, undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (24-1, 6 KOs), and Brooklyn's Puerto Rican boxing trailblazer, unified featherweight world champion Amanda 'The Real Deal' Serrano (47-3-1, 31 KOs). This historic fight, an MVP event, will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix at no additional cost to its 300+ million subscribers on Friday, July 11 from Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City. Taylor vs. Serrano 3 headlines the first-ever all women's professional boxing card at the iconic venue, airing live on Netflix as the MVP continues its commitment to elevating women in the sport."
Check out the latest trailer above, as well as additional Taylor-Serrano 3 coverage at Netflix.

Metcalf, Rodgers building rapport at minicamp

PITTSBURGH (BLACK & GOLD NATION) — If Aaron Rodgers is the new sheriff in town, that makes D.K. Metcalf his first deputy. He's a 6-foot-4-inch 27-year-old all pro who may just be the best receiver to wear a Steelers uniform since Antonio Brown. 'I like his whole personality and his approach and the way he is on the field, his professionalism,' said Rodgers of his new WR1. The Steelers traded for Metcalf this offseason and promptly signed him to a 5-year, $150 million extension. In six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, Metcalf posted 900-or-more yards in each season while tallying 48 touchdowns. Steelers unfazed by Watt's absence His best season came in 2020 with Russell Wilson at the helm. He caught 83 passes fir 1,303 yards and 10 touchdowns. Success he hopes he can repeat as he is once again reunited with a former MVP (4x) signal caller. 'How quickly he released the ball and me getting off the line of scrimmage fast, I think is one thing that stands out first,' Metcalf said of Rodgers. 'But also his playmaking ability after a play breaks down or hit him, or contort his arm in a different way just to get the ball out. I think he's unique and I think he's going to help not only me, but a lot of receivers and tight ends and in the offense.' Rodgers and Metcalf began working out in March, months before Aaron had even signed with the team. The two met in California where Rodgers lives, something they both hope to continue before traveling to Latrobe. Rodgers in camp and committed to Steelers 'DK's been blowing me up for a while,' said Rodgers. 'You know, we got to get together out west, but I've gone against him a number of times. He's big, athletic, fast. [He's] got great hands, ball skills.' 'I like the way he views the game from a receiver standpoint, but also from a quarterback standpoint,' said Metcalf. 'I think I can gain a lot of knowledge just from being around him because he's seen a lot of football. So, [I'm] just trying to soak a soak up as much, information and ball as I can.' Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Exciting News With Josh Allen After Wedding

Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Exciting News With Josh Allen After Wedding originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen enters the NFL offseason as the reigning Most Valuable Player, coming off a 2024 season that saw him lead one of the league's top-scoring offenses. Allen guided Buffalo to its fifth straight AFC East title and an appearance in the AFC Championship Game, finishing with 3,731 passing yards, 40 total touchdowns and a career-low six interceptions, completing 63.6% of his passes. Off the field, Allen's personal life has gained equal attention. On May 31, he and Hailee Steinfeld, the Oscar-nominated actress and singer, exchanged vows in a private Southern California ceremony. On Thursday, Steinfeld used her Instagram story to share that there will be a full Beau Society feature releasing on Friday with an in-depth recap of the special moment. Her message read: "We are SO married. Josh & I are reminiscing on our wedding weekend in tomorrow's issue of @beausociety DON'T MISS IT...@joshallenqb 🤍." The couple's relationship became public in May 2023 and they announced their engagement on November 22, 2024, via a joint Instagram post depicting Allen's seaside proposal. The union was confirmed via Steinfeld's weekly newsletter, Beau Society, where she shared the first official wedding portrait and the announcement "We're married!". Their wedding weekend was a low-key affair attended by close friends and select Bills teammates, including tight end Dawson Knox, offensive tackle Spencer Brown and backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Allen's wedding also comes just two months after he solidified his commitment to the Bills with a six-year, $330 million contract extension, ranking among the richest deals in NFL history. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 12, 2025, where it first appeared.

3 underrated Netflix shows you should watch this weekend (June 13-15)

Netflix is a platform designed to help you watch television. There are so many options to choose from that actually deciding what you want to watch can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. That's why we've pulled together three great shows that are all available on the streamer for you to watch now. Take your pick from among them, and trust us, you won't be disappointed. Recommended Videos Need more recommendations? Then check out the best new shows to stream this week, as well as the best shows on Netflix, the best shows on Hulu, the best shows on Amazon Prime Video, the best shows on Max, and the best shows on Disney+. Sex and the City (1998-2004) You might not think of Sex and the City as an underrated show, but its legacy is complicated, to say the least. This series, which followed four adult women living in New York City as they navigated their love lives and their careers, was revolutionary at the time, in part because it was so avowedly feminine and so willing to let its central characters be bad people. Above all else, though, Sex and the City was anchored by its remarkable writing. It was a show that felt like it fully understood both its world and its characters, and while it wasn't always laugh-out-loud hilarious, it could be incredibly funny when it wanted to be. You can watch Sex and the City on Netflix. Heartstopper (2022-2024) There's nothing quite like a great teen love story, and Heartstopper is exactly that. The series follows two British boys as they navigate their budding friendship for one another and begin to explore whether it might be something more. Colorful, rich, and frequently hilarious, Heartstopper is a show about young love that understands just how deeply young people feel things. There's a reason the teen comedy has endured for as long as it has, and Heartstopper is the only reminder you need that a great teen love story is better than almost anything else. You can watch Heartstopper on Netflix. Court of Gold (2025) Whether you're a basketball fan or not, Court of Gold is one of the great sports documentaries of the past decade. The series follows four national basketball teams as they make their way through the Olympics, and whether you followed the actual Olympic tournament or not, part of the drama of this series is the access we get to each of these teams. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the tournament itself was incredibly dramatic and featured a United States national team that might have been the best in the history of the nation. Court of Gold is thrilling, surprising, and features interviews with some of the best basketball players in the world. It's great. You can watch Court of Gold on Netflix.
