Billie Eilish's Earliest Release Is Back
Billie Eilish has spent much of July in the United Kingdom, traveling from city to city as part of her massively successful Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour. Her run in the country began in Scotland, and she then headed down to London for half a dozen dates at The O2 Arena, and most recently, she performed in Manchester. All the excitement surrounding her tour has helped Eilish's music climb the charts in the U.K.
Eilish first made a name for herself nearly a decade ago with her EP Don't Smile at Me, which dropped when she was just a teenager. The project included her breakout hit "Ocean Eyes," which went viral and turned her into a hot commodity in the music industry. That set reappears on a number of rankings this frame, as everything connected to the singer-songwriter grows in popularity this week.
Don't Smile at Me Returns to Several Charts
Don't Smile at Me returns to both the Official Albums Streaming and Official Albums charts this time around in the U.K. The short project lands at No. 91 on the former and No. 92 on the all-encompassing list of the most-consumed albums and EPs in the nation.
Billie Eilish's Only Album to Miss the Top 10
Don't Smile at Me remains Eilish's only major release to miss the top 10 on the Official Albums chart. Despite the fact that it has now spent almost 250 weeks somewhere on that competitive tally, the set only peaked at No. 12. It did climb all the way to No. 4 on the list of the most-streamed collections in the U.K.
Billie Eilish's Albums All Soar
In addition to Don't Smile at Me's success, all three of Eilish's full-lengths are also gaining ground. Hit Me Hard and Soft, which is being promoted by the tour, returns to the top 10 on the Official Albums chart, pushing from No. 12 to No. 10. That set remains a top 40 success on every ranking on which it appears.
Happier Than Ever and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, her earlier two studio efforts, also push north, jumping to Nos. 35 and 54, respectively.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day leaks are here already as filming begins – and they might have just confirmed Mister Negative as the film's villain
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. It's been filming for mere hours, but major leaks have already emerged from the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. As spotted by one bystander on the streets of Glasgow, a heavy-duty armored truck was getting wheeled into position for a sequence in the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie. Look a little closer, however, and you'll see a red demon mark on its side. If you've played Insomniac's Spider-Man games, you might notice how closely that resembles the logo of the Inner Demons, led by a certain Mister Negative. It's something that has quickly sent fans into overdrive, too. It's worth tempering expectations just for now, however. As of writing, the villain for Spider-Man: Brand New Day hasn't been confirmed, nor have we had any announcement regarding which actor – if any – will be playing Mister Negative. A recent glimpse behind the scenes also hinted at D-list villains forming part of the film's rogues' gallery. First debuting in a Free Comic Book Day issue of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2007, Mister Negative (alias Martin Li) is often depicted as a ruthless gunrunner and crime lord who can utilize the power of the Darkforce to control minds, manipulate energy, and be imbued with superstrength. Notably, he worked to create the Devil's Breath, an immensely powerful bioweapon, and is perhaps best known for his appearances in Insomniac's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 games. Spider-Man: Brand New Day once again stars Tom Holland as the titular wallcrawler. He is joined by series mainstays Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, as well as Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal, who reprises his role as The Punisher after entering the MCU as part of Daredevil: Born Again. Brand New Day also appears to be set before Avengers: Doomsday. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, will swing into cinemas on July 31, 2026. Marvel confirms a major Avengers actor is joining Tom Holland's Spider-Man in Brand New Day along with a returning villain
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Tom Holland is going to be in very good company in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as seasoned MCU star Mark Ruffalo has joined the official cast as The Hulk. Ruffalo has been part of the superhero franchise for 14 years, starring in all the Avengers movies and fan-favorite titles like Thor: Ragnarok. Last time we saw his Bruce Banner was in Disney Plus' TV series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which starred his cousin Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany). The Hulk is not the only Marvel character returning for the upcoming Spidey movie, which is now filming in Scotland. Along with the previously announced addition of Jon Bernthal's The Punisher to the cast, Marvel announced that Michael Mando is set to reprise his role of the Scorpion. The villain first debuted in Spider-Man: Homecoming, where he was arrested by the FBI after the Staten Island ferry incident and swore vengeance against Spider-Man. It seems like he will make good on his promise in the new movie. This cast announcement comes on the back of film set leaks that might just have confirmed Mister Negative as the film's villain. A bystander on the streets of Glasgow spotted a heavy-duty armored truck with a red demon mark on its side that resembles the logo of the Inner Demons. A recent glimpse behind the scenes also hinted at D-list villains forming part of the film's rogues' gallery. Tom Holland's new Spider-Man suit was partially revealed this week too, giving us some serious Sam Raimi vibes. As filming continues, we're hoping to get even more details about the movie, which has yet to reveal an official plot. We expect the story to follow on from the events of the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw Peter Parker's existence erased from everyone's minds. Plunged back into anonymity, the New York-based superhero will focus, as Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige explained recently, on "street-level crime as opposed to world-ending events." Brand New Day also appears to be set before Avengers: Doomsday. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are set to reprise their roles as MJ and Ned, with Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink joining the cast in an undisclosed role. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will land in cinemas on July 31, 2026. For more, here is our complete guide to upcoming Marvel movies and Marvel Phase 6. Solve the daily Crossword

Exhibition in Stroud celebrates legacy of pioneering blacksmith Alan Evans
A STROUD exhibition is celebrating the legacy of a renowned artist-blacksmith. The Museum in the Park is hosting Earth Fire Iron: Alan Evans and the New Iron Age, from Saturday, September 6 to Sunday, November 2. The exhibition will honour the work of Alan Evans (1952–2023) and the blacksmithing movement he helped inspire from the 1980s. It will explore the impact on Alan Evans of his upbringing as part of the Whiteway colony, a radical Tolstoyan community near Stroud set up in 1898. Abigail Large, exhibitions officer at the Museum in the Park, said: "This exhibition is shining a light on the exciting and powerful work produced by artist-blacksmiths. "We are excited to be able to show it in Stroud – along with hands-on learning opportunities for local schools and inspiring events for everyone." Alan's first major commission aged 29 was for the Treasury Gates, St Paul's Cathedral in 1980-81. The St Paul's maquette will be on show, together with a range of work by Alan and his contemporaries from Britain and the continent. There will also be work by young blacksmiths from around the UK including Melissa Cole, Sam Pearce and Lisa Wisdom.
