Don't expect any packages on Thanksgiving day. USPS will be closed. All UPS and FedEx services will be closed except for UPS Express Critical and FedEx Custom Critical.

28 Must-Have Trader Joe's Items Shoppers Love

There are TJ's runs, and then there are TJ's runs — the kind where you drive an hour, grab a second cart 'just in case,' and end up debating how many frozen croissants one freezer can hold. We asked our community which Trader Joe's items they simply can't live without, and the responses came in hot: legendary snacks, weeknight lifesavers, wines sweeter than they probably should be, and a few discontinued heartbreaks we're still processing. If you've ever walked those tiny aisles and wondered what's actually worth here. "Organic sparkling rosé tea. I have never had something non-alcoholic that was so yummy and sophisticated." —melc40e454224 "The 'Love, Olivia' wine. So sweet, cheap, and gives a great buzz. They now have a watermelon flavor, and it is SOOOOO good." —oliviab4e967f9ac "Piquant popcorn!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the most savory thing I've ever eaten!!!" —metallicghost763 "Sour Scandinavian swimmers." —c48e738094 "The goat cheese (rolled in blueberries) on the date crackers. So good." —sillyasteroid21 "My husband works at TJ's, so I have a million answers to this, but my current favorite is the Spicy Mexican-Style Riced Cauliflower (in the frozen section). So good on its own, but I like to add black beans, green onions, jalapeños (because I like things extra spicy), and guacamole on top. Super filling and delicious!" —brittanyt4bd5ee84c "The Chili Onion Crunch. I use it on everything from noodles to pizza. The taste is amazing!" —grlrox Psst: Download the Tasty app right now to access thousands of recipes in step-by-step mode. "It was the Spicy Chunky Tomato and Pepper Pasta Sauce, but it was discontinued (RIP). Now it's the Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce and the Spicy Mexican-Style Riced Cauliflower." —dh00dz0 "The brown butter biscotti and the garlic jalapeño-stuffed olives!" —karaire "The Aioli Garlic Mustard Sauce is my favorite thing everrrr. Also, their BBQ Toscano Salad." —katilyn22 "Their scallion pancakes are *chef's kiss*." —the_snookie "I am living without this… they used to have tubs of shortbread cookies with globs of either chocolate or fruit jam in the middle. They got rid of this a few years ago, and it was wonderful. So sad it's gone. Also, they had great frozen spinach lasagna that's gone. A current item that I can't live without is the frozen chocolate croissant or the seasonal lemon zest Madelines." —furryking556 "The obvious is the dark chocolate peanut butter I absolutely love the hatch chili mac 'n' cheese." —mlz5051 "I don't live near a TJs — it's about a 90-minute drive for me — but when I do go, I stock up on the flatbread pizza crust. I cut it into smaller portion-sized squares and freeze it to grab when I want some. A little sauce, cheese, and toppings, pop in the air fryer/toaster oven, and I've got 'homemade' pizza anytime." —wanderingstorm "The Pizza Parlanno and their pesto tortellini bowls." —goosethekitty "Cookies & cream pretzels." —madycarter "Three words: TRADER JOE'S TAKIS!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍." —charmingcloud50 "Gluten-free chocolate donut holes." —esthertanagho "Cacio e Pepe Puffs! I get at least three bags when I go — TJ's is an hour away, sadly!" —magicallatte14 "The pizza ranch salad kit." —smellygoblin74 "Frozen chocolate-covered banana slices." —m00li55a "They had double chocolate croissants at Christmas time that were divine and chocolate hazelnut wafer cookies that I could not stop eating, and I don't know if they're a rotational item or my store just doesn't have them in stock, so I'm sad." —monikap6 "Almond croissants. Mini chocolate sheet cake. The cruciferous crunch (found in bags with the salads) makes an excellent addition to stir fries." —liongoddess1 "The blueberry lemon sparkling water." —cowboys_dont_cry "Trail Mix Crackers. They are secretly cookies." —clevercrab977 "Gorgonzola gnocchi." —cleverfish39 "Frozen veggie fried rice. Makes the easiest last-minute meals." —farrenmay "I've been eating the maple pecan 'just the clusters' granola for like a decade." —thisisfine Those are the current holy-grail picks keeping carts full and cravings quiet, even if a few favorites are now in the great Discontinued Beyond (RIP spicy chunky pasta sauce). 'New garden shed tax' warning as householders urged to check if they're affected

People have been warned they could face a surprise charge if they have a shed in their garden. An expert said unexpected council tax demands could arise if a common change was made to the garden structure. While the so-called "new garden shed tax" won't apply to everyone, Sam Jenkinson from garden building retailer Tiger, said it was becoming increasingly common across the UK. READ MORE: 22 Kids and Counting star in terrifying hospital dash after blazing row He said the charge could apply to those with a shed or outbuilding that has been transformed into a self-sufficient living area, according to the Express. Sam said: "Government guidance states that a property is considered a separate dwelling and can therefore be assigned its own council tax band if it includes an independent entrance, a kitchen, and a bathroom." While this means most standard garden sheds and log cabins would be exempt, those who've added permanent residential amenities might could face additional costs. Sam continued: "This won't apply to most people but if your shed has been changed to include full-time living facilities, it could be taxed." Local authorities were reportedly examining planning applications, reviewing property sales, and conducting inspections to spot buildings that might qualify as separate homes. "When planning applications are submitted, councils may review them to determine whether a shed could be classified as a separate dwelling," Sam added. "Similarly, when a property changes ownership, councils can review its classification." If a shed was found to meet the requirements, it could be assigned its own council tax band by the Valuation Office Agency. However property owners do have the right to challenge the decision. Sam said: "If your shed is reclassified as a separate dwelling and you believe this is incorrect, you have the right to appeal. "You can provide evidence such as photographs or floor plans to demonstrate that the shed does not have the necessary facilities to qualify as a separate home." Some sheds used by a dependent relative may also be exempt, however Sam recommends checking with your local council to confirm if this applies in your case. He added: "Garden rooms are great for hobbies, working from home, or entertaining, but they can't be used as permanent self-contained accommodation without planning permission. "Adding a bedroom, kitchen or bathroom could mean you need both planning permission and building regulations approval."

Fly by Night: Catch a Luna Moth Near You

U.S. Postal Service issues stamp for irregularly sized cards and invitations SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Aug. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the U.S. Postal Service issued Luna Moth, a nondenominated stamp priced at the non-machineable surcharge rate, at the Great American Stamp Show here. A pale green luna moth graces the new release, which is designed for use on irregularly sized envelopes such as square greeting cards, invitations or announcements. Noted for their lovely green coloring and larger-than-average size, luna moths (Actias luna) are among the most beautiful moths in the United States. The stamps come in panes of 20 and are available at Post Office locations nationwide and online at Stamp design Luna Moth was designed by Derry Noyes, an art director for USPS, using an existing image by artist Joseph Scheer. The stamp features an image of a pale green luna moth with darker edges and eyespots on all four wings. The moth has a white and yellow body with feathery brown antennae between its forewings. Scheer created the image using a high-resolution scanner with extended focus, which allowed him to program in a variety of depths of field at exact points above the scanner glass. As many as 32 layers were scanned individually to ensure that all parts of the preserved moth would appear in sharp focus. These layers were stitched together to create the final image. Near the bottom of the stamp, the words "NON-MACHINEABLE SURCHARGE" appear in uppercase letters directly below the word "USA," which is printed in brown type. Like a Forever stamp, it will always be valid for the rate printed on it.
