His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, hosted employees from various government entities at a Ramadan Iftar gathering held at his palace's Al Barza Majlis in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mansour exchanged warm conversations with the attendees, reflecting the spirit and noble values of the holy month in fostering connection and compassion within the community. Prayers were offered for the occasion to be returned upon President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with continued health and happiness, and for the month to bring blessings and prosperity to the UAE, its leadership, and its people.
The gathering was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials from various entities.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved a housing benefits package worth AED4.62 billion for 3,052 citizens in the emirate. The approved package include housing loans amounting to AED4.4 billion benefiting 2,862 citizens, and exemptions from loan repayments totalling AED212 million benefiting 190 citizens, limited-income retirees and beneficiaries of deceased citizens. The disbursement of the second housing package of 2025 comes ahead of Eid Al Adha and reflects the leadership's ongoing commitment to comprehensive development, enhancing the wellbeing and stability of Emirati families, empowering them to actively contribute to the nation's progress, in line with UAE Year of Community objectives aimed at strengthening social cohesion and reinforcing community solidarity. The package follows the recent endorsement of an additional community support subsidy of AED250,000 for existing beneficiaries of housing loans, including a reduction of up to 50 per cent in monthly loan instalments, and a wide range of other services and facilities. It brings the total housing benefits delivered to citizens in Abu Dhabi in 2025 to AED11.38 billion.

He also thanked His Highness for his continued support of the Pilgrims Affairs Office, which enables the team to deliver comprehensive services and ensure a smooth and safe Hajj experience for all Emirati pilgrims.

5 June 2025 16:06 BRASÍLIA (WAM)The UAE Parliamentary Division took part in the 11th BRICS Parliamentary Forum held in Brasília, the capital of Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Committee on Defence, Interior, and Foreign Affairs in the Federal National Council (FNC), delivered the UAE delegation's statement during a session titled, "Brics Parliamentary Action in Search of New Paths for Economic Development." Sara Mohammad Falaknaz, FNC Member accompanied the delegation. In his remarks, Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasised that identifying new paths for economic development amid current global challenges is, in itself, a significant underscored the importance of upholding two core pillars: first, the commitment to the founding principles and goals of BRICS, which are vital for guiding collective action and maintaining cohesion and shared vision; and second, focusing on serving the people through genuine partnerships and innovative initiatives that foster inclusive and impactful economic Al Nuaimi highlighted that the post-World War II international order is undergoing profound transformation, with serious threats to the principle of economic justice. He noted that economic tools are often wielded to serve narrow interests at the expense of balance and this context, he stressed the importance of BRICS nations remaining united around key principles, particularly fair trade, mutual interests, and inclusive further stated that the role of parliaments extends beyond legislation and oversight. It includes ensuring that economic policies translate into real improvements in people's lives through development initiatives with a tangible social Al Nuaimi also underscored that the ultimate goal of development should not be profit alone, but the establishment of a humane economy, one that supports marginalised communities, promotes social justice, and ensures no region or population, whether in Africa, Asia, or Latin America, is left behind.
