Lola Young leads the list of nominees for the Ivor Novello Awards.
The 24-year-old singer has been nominated for three gongs, including Best Album, Best Song Musically and Lyrically, and the Rising Star Award.
Lola released her second studio album, 'This Wasn't Meant for You Anyway', in 2024. But she will face stiff competition for the Best Album award from Charli XCX, Ghetts, Jordan Rakei, and BERWYN.
RAYE, Ghetts, and Conor Dickinson have all been nominated for two awards each, with RAYE receiving nods in the Most Performed Work and the Best Song Musically and Lyrically categories.
Tom Gray, the chair of The Ivors Academy, said: "Everyone knows The Ivors are the most joyful celebration of music making in the calendar. Many of the most talented and creative people on the planet get together to celebrate each other's exceptional originality and craft.
"Congratulations to all of the remarkable nominees this year. It's a huge privilege for The Ivors Academy to champion music creation in all its forms."

Elsewhere, Wham! - the pop ground founded by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in 1981 - have received a nomination for 'Last Christmas', their 1984 hit single.

JADE hints at Little Mix reunion as she wows at first solo concert at Radio 1's Big Weekend
Jade Thirlwall hinted at a Little Mix reunion while performing the girl group's 2018 hit 'Wasabi' at Radio 1's Big Weekend. The 'Angel of My Dreams' singer played her debut solo show at the youth radio station's annual gathering, which took place at Liverpool's Sefton Park this weekend. As well as doing a medley of their greatest hits - 'Shout Out to My Ex', 'Sweet Melody', 'Woman Like Me' and 'Touch' - earlier in the set on Sunday (25.05.25), while performing 2018's 'Wasabi', JADE switched the lyrics to: "I bet they gonna break up ... It's a hiatus!" The lyric swap suggests the girls - also including Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - have plans to get back together after going on an indefinite break in 2022. JADE - who has ditched her last name for her solo career - also thanked her bandmates for getting her where she is today. She said: "Guys do you remember I was in a girl band, oh gosh you're still going, I just want to say I love the Little Mix girls with all my heart. "I'm so so grateful to the girls. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here today on my own. So shout out Little Mix!" The set saw JADE deliver the live debut of unreleased solo song 'Plastic Box'. JADE is set to release her debut solo album, 'That's Showbiz Baby!', on September 12. Despite their huge fame and earnings, Little Mix were rocked by Jesy Nelson's decision to quit the group in December 2020. Leigh-Anne previously said the remaining three members of the band secretly sought therapy after Jesy's abrupt exit. She said in her autobiography 'Believe': 'It was a complex and painful thing to come to terms with. We all felt it, that pain and sadness. 'The whole thing felt like a weird break-up, and I wasn't prepared for it."

Charli xcx quips 'I am hardly Bob Dylan' as she's crowned Songwriter of the Year at The Ivor Novello Awards
Charli xcx quipped that she's "hardly Bob Dylan" as she was crowned Songwriter of the Year at The Ivors with Amazon Music. The 32-year-old pop innovator - who dominated pop music with her 2024 LP 'Brat' - received the prize at the prestigious bash at London's famous Grosvenor House on Thursday (22.05.25). Collecting the trophy, Charli joked: "I'm sure you all agree, I am hardly Bob Dylan, but one thing I certainly do is commit to the bit." Elsewhere, U2 became the first Irish songwriters to receive the Ivors Academy fellowship for their back catalogue spanning five decades. Frontman Bono said onstage: "Songs can be arrows through time if they come from the right place. "They can fly higher and farther, last longer, hit harder. They can pierce the hardest armour of the human heart. "I don't know if they can change the world, but they changed us." The star-studded bash saw Bruce Springsteen honour The Killers with the Special International award. Frontman Brandon Flowers quipped: "It feels one giant step away from fulfilling my original dream of becoming the most sought-after valet on the Las Vegas strip." Meanwhile, Robbie Williams was named an Icon. The 'Angels' hitmaker said: "When momentous things like this happen, it's just a hodge-podge of things coming at you from the universe. "It's self-doubt and self-hatred mixed with ego and delusion and audacity. "So it's very difficult to put your finger on what it feels like in the moment, other than you're supposed to say, 'I'm very grateful'. And I am." Best Album went to Berwyn for his critically acclaimed debut studio effort, 'Who I Am'. 'Messy' hitmaker Lola Young received the Rising Star award, while Myles Smiths' 'Stargazing' was named the most-played song on UK radio in 2024, and Self Esteem picked up the Visionary Award. Tom Gray, Chair of The Ivors Academy, said: 'Congratulations to every Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter and composer. On behalf of The Ivors Academy, it is a privilege to recognise their craft and achievements. Their lyrics and melodies are the most important foundations of music and there is no greater recognition than an Ivor Novello Award, judged by fellow songwriters and composers.' Roberto Neri, CEO of The Ivors Academy, added: 'A massive congratulations to all of our winners. From the UK we're creating the global recognition that songwriters and composers deserve. Whether it's fair pay, safe working environments or ensuring meaningful opt-in consent in the age of AI, The Ivors Academy exists to protect, empower and celebrate the most vital creative force in the music industry. I'm proud to lead an organisation dedicated to upholding the rights and earnings of our members.' Nicola Peltz Beckham 'working on' husband Brooklyn's skincare routine
Nicola Peltz Beckham is "working on" getting husband Brooklyn to improve his skincare routine. The 30-year-old actress thinks her spouse has "great" skin but is keen to see him take more measures to look after his complexion because at the moment the only product he uses is "body soap". She laughed to E! News about Brooklyn's skincare regime: 'I'm working on that. He still uses body soap for his face, but his skin still looks great!' Brooklyn is sometimes baffled by Nicola's own beauty routines, such as her love of using a freckle stamp to add fake beauty spots. Asked about the current trends she loves, she said: "The freckles! I tried the Tarte one, the one with the multiple prongs. I love it. It's so cute. "Anytime I wear it, Brooklyn's like, 'Wait, what did you do?' I just do little freckles." The 'Lola' star used to worry about covering her pimples as a teenager, but these days she is "obsessed" with Starface's treatment patches and is happy to draw attention to her blemishes by wearing them out and about. Asked beauty advice for her younger self, she told E!: "Less make-up. Like we don't need to cover so much, I'd be so insecure if I had a pimple in high school. "I'd think, 'Oh my God, I want to cry about it.' "Now I'm so obsessed with those Starface pimple patches. If I had that in high school, I'd say, 'It's so cute!' "I wear them to the airport; I wear them to dinner; I love them. It's such a cute idea." Nicola believes it is important to find the time to properly prepare her skin before putting on make-up, and it's something she starts thinking about the night before a big event. She said: "I would say that prep before makeup is so important. If you have the time, use it for that. "Even the night before an event I like to use restoring and hydrating products such as the ISDIN Melatonik Overnight Recovery Serum, it includes melatonin and ensures my skin looks and feels rested."
