‘Won't Accept Harassment': Iran's Khamenei After Striking US Military Base In Qatar

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in his first reaction after Tehran retaliated against the US by targeting the country's Al-Udeid military base in Qatar, said that Tehran won't accept any harassment under any circumstances.
The supreme leader said that Iran didn't target the civilians and vowed not to submit to anyone's harassment.
'We didn't harm anyone. And we will not accept any harassment from anyone under any circumstances. And we will not submit to anyone's harassment; This is the logic of the Iranian nation," he said.
His statement came after Iran retaliated against the US air strikes on nuclear facilities and fired missiles towards the military bases of the United States in Qatar and Iraq.
The Iranian Armed Forces issued a statement and said that it 'targeted the Al-Udeid base in Qatar with a devastating and powerful missile attack in Operation Besharat Fatah".
Iran will not leave its territorial integrity, sovereignty and national security unanswered under any circumstances, the Iranian Armed Forces said, in a message for 'the White House and its allies".
According to a New York Times report, Iran had given advance notice to Qatar about the strike on the US base to minimise casualties.
Issuing a statement on the huge development, the United States said that Iran fired ballistic missiles; however, there were no reports of US casualties.
'Al Udeid Air Base was attacked by short-range and medium-range ballistic missiles originating from Iran today. At this time, there are no reports of US casualties. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide more information as it becomes available," the statement said.
The retaliation came a day after the US bombed three nuclear sites in Iran and marked its entry into the Israel-Iran war. The US stealth B-2 bombers dropped 14 bunker-buster bombs — each weighing 30,000 pounds — on major nuclear enrichment sites in Iran.

Al-Udeid Air Base is a major US and coalition military base located in Qatar, southwest of the capital city Doha. It serves as the largest US military base in the Middle East and is a key hub for American operations across the region.

BEERSHEBA: Israel and Iran on Tuesday accepted a ceasefire plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump to end their 12-day war that roiled the Middle East, after Tehran launched a retaliatory limited missile attack on a U.S. military base in Qatar. The acceptance of the deal by both sides came after Tehran launched a final onslaught of missiles targeting Israel that killed at least five people early Tuesday morning, while Israel launched a blitz of airstrikes targeting sites across Iran before dawn. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had agreed to a bilateral ceasefire with Iran in coordination with Trump. Netanyahu said that he had reported to Israel's security cabinet Monday night that Israel had achieved all of its war goals in the 12-day operation against Iran, including removing the threat of Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday confirmed that Israel has accepted a ceasefire proposal with Iran, marking the end of 12 days of intense hostilities between the two regional rivals. In an official statement released by the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu declared that Israel had met all strategic goals of its military campaign, dubbed Operation Rising Lion, and even exceeded expectations. "Israel had achieved all the objectives of Operation Rising Lion, and even far beyond that. Israel has removed a dual immediate existential threat – both in the nuclear domain and in the ballistic missile domain," the statement read. According to the statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had "achieved complete air superiority over Tehran's skies, struck a severe blow to the military leadership, and destroyed dozens of central regime targets in Iran."
