Ian Thorpe has allegedly been robbed by removalists.
Following a sighting at a Sydney police station on Thursday, 2GB radio station broke the news that the former swimmer fell victim to a $150,000 robbery.
2GB host Ben Fordham revealed on Monday that the alleged suspects were removalists.
'He has had some things stolen from his house – watches, jewellery, some personal items,' Thorpe's manager James Erskine said on Friday.
'He called up his insurers, they said go and make a police report.

Thorpe was seen at Paddington Police Station on Thursday.
On 2GB, Fordham said 'as part of the police investigation, officers are examining a removalist company'.
'Ian Thorpe is of the belief that his watches and jewellery went missing during a move,' Fordham said.
'Watches, jewellery and some other small, valuable items. He doesn't know how much they're worth, but his best guess is $150,000.'
Thorpe is one of Australia's most decorated Olympians, claiming the most individual medals at the Sydney 2000 Games, aged just 17.

Mr Robati's defence barrister told the court the case would hinge on two key arguments: first, that the sexual acts were entirely consensual and initiated willingly by both parties; and second, that even if the jury found the woman did not consent, Mr Robati held an honest and reasonable belief that she had, a belief which, even if ultimately mistaken, would form a crucial part of the defence's case. The jury was shown a prerecorded video of the complainant's evidence and her cross-examination, which was conducted in a closed session. Mr Robati was stood down by the Brisbane Broncos in February 2023, just weeks before the start of the NRL season, after the allegations became public. He has not played in the NRL since. Pheobe's mum slams charity fundraiser
The mother of missing Queensland teenager Phoebe Bishop has slammed a fundraiser raising money in her daughter's name. Ms Bishop, 17, was declared missing after she failed to check-in for a flight from Bundaberg to visit her boyfriend in Western Australia on May 15. On Friday, police said they found human remains near the Good Night National Scrub Park outside of Gin Gin, but were yet to confirm if they were Ms Bishop's. The teen's roommates, James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33, have been charged with her murder and are alleged by police to have moved her body multiple times. Amid an outpouring of grief, Ms Bishop's mother, Kylie Johnson, took to social media on Sunday to condemn a GoFundMe campaign set up in her daughter's name. 'This hasn't been approved or supported by the family,' Ms Bishop wrote on Facebook of the campaign, which was titled 'In memory of Phoebe Bishop'. The campaign appeared to have been suspended after raising just $24.
