Hamas says assassination in Tulkarm miserable attempt to liquidate resistance

Saba Yemen27-01-2025
Gaza – Saba:
Hamas said on on Monday the new Zionist assassination operation that targeted a vehicle in Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm, a confirmation of the continuation of the crimes and massacres of the Zionist enemy.
According to Palestinian media, the movement said in a statement the Zionist assassination operation that targeted a vehicle in Nour Shams camp is a miserable attempt to liquidate the valiant resistance that continues to hurt the enemy with its qualitative operations.
The movement added as we mourn the martyrs of al-Qassam Brigades' who ascended on the proud land of Tulkarm, the leader 'Ihab Abu Atwi' and Mujahid 'Ramez Damiri', we confirm that their pure blood will not go in vain, but will be an incentive for the escalation of the resistance and the continuation of its heroic operations.
The masses of the people in the West Bank called for more clashes and escalation of resistance to the occupation and its settlers within the battle of the Flood of al-Aqsa, and to confuse them and destabilize the security of their alleged entity.
Two resistance fighters from "al-Qassam Brigades" were martyred and three citizens were injured in an assassination crime committed by the enemy forces, Monday afternoon, after their aircraft bombed a vehicle in the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.

Germany considers 'E1' settlement project violation of international law

Berlin – SABA: The German Foreign Ministry announced today, Wednesday, its outright rejection of the Israeli settlement project 'E1,' describing it as a violation of international law, and urged 'Israel' to immediately halt all its settlement activities. Earlier today, the Israeli occupation authorities approved a settlement construction plan in the 'E1' area east of occupied Jerusalem, which includes the construction of more than 3,401 housing units, in addition to establishing a new settlement called 'Ash'ah'el,' comprising 342 settlement units and public buildings. The 'Peace Now' movement indicated that the approval of settlement construction in 'E1' was carried out at unprecedented speed. Last week, the extremist occupation government's Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, declared that the 'E1' settlement plan effectively links the Ma'ale Adumim settlement with Jerusalem, severs the geographical continuity between Ramallah and Bethlehem, and represents the final nail in the coffin of the idea of a Palestinian state.

Yemen's president and UN Envoy Discuss Reviving Peace Process in Riyadh

Aden — Chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, met with UN Special Envoy Hans Grundberg in Riyadh to discuss renewed efforts to revive the stalled peace process and end the country's decade-long conflict. During the meeting, Grundberg briefed Al-Alimi on his recent regional consultations aimed at restoring momentum for a comprehensive political settlement under United Nations auspices. The discussions focused on confidence-building measures, humanitarian access, and the need for inclusive dialogue involving all Yemeni parties. Al-Alimi reaffirmed the Council's commitment to a peaceful resolution based on the agreed terms of reference, including the Gulf Initiative, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions. He emphasized the importance of international pressure on the Houthi militia to engage constructively and cease military escalations, particularly in the Red Sea. 'The Presidential Leadership Council remains fully committed to a just and sustainable peace that restores state institutions and alleviates the suffering of the Yemeni people,' Al-Alimi said, according to an official statement. Grundberg welcomed the Council's support and reiterated the UN's readiness to facilitate negotiations and coordinate humanitarian efforts. The meeting comes amid growing international concern over the humanitarian crisis and regional instability linked to the conflict.
