Christopher Bell wins the 2025 NASCAR All-Star Race, full results
The NASCAR Cup Series arrived at North Wilkesboro Speedway, but it wasn't a typical weekend. The sport took a short drive for the All-Star Race, which awards the winner $1 million. Joey Logano won in 2024 and had a great shot in 2025, but a Joe Gibbs Racing driver stole the show at the end of the event.
Christopher Bell and the No. 20 team for Joe Gibbs Racing won the 2025 All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro, earning his first All-Star victory in his Cup Series career. Bell came down pit road during the promoter's caution, and while he was catching Logano before the yellow, the fresher tires put his No. 20 car in a great position to seize the day.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has three points wins and one exhibition victory during the 2025 Cup Series season, establishing himself as one of the championship favorites. Bell may not have earned any points toward the playoffs; however, he and the No. 20 team are $1 million richer after Sunday night.

Trade Idea Moves Dolphins' Tyreek Hill to Cardinals
Trade Idea Moves Dolphins' Tyreek Hill to Cardinals originally appeared on Athlon Sports. In the immediate aftermath of the Miami Dolphins' final regular season game of 2024, which resulted in the Florida-based franchise missing the playoffs, wide receiver Tyreek Hill made his stance on returning to the team as clear as can be. Advertisement "I'm out, bro," Hill told reporters in the locker room after the game. A move out of Miami has yet to materialize for Hill, who has not made any public statements about wanting to leave since January and attended the Dolphins' mandatory minicamp this week. Bleacher Report's Alex Kay believes that will not be the case by September, as he suggests the Dolphins' front office should field calls with that of the Arizona Cardinals. Kay predicts the Dolphins' return package will include two draft picks – a third- and fourth-rounder in 2026. The financial ramifications of the deal should be incentive enough for Miami to move Hill, Kay wrote. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (10) practices during mandatory minicamp at Hard Rock Navarro-Imagn Images "Hill's contract calls for him to earn $27.7 million in guaranteed salary this season, but cutting or trading him would result in a manageable dead money hit of just $12.8 million. It would also free up nearly $15 million in immediate cap room," Kay wrote. "With the 'Phins sitting on just $14 million in available cap space — the sixth-lowest in the league — a breakup makes plenty of fiscal sense." Advertisement Kay likes the Cardinals as an ideal trade destination for Hill because it would provide them with a one-two punch at a position the team has not pursued aggressively in the draft or trade market so far this offseason. "The team is on the rise under head coach Jonathan Gannon, going from 4-13 in his first season to 8-9 last year. The receiving corps still needs a jolt, however, as Arizona avoided making any major splashes in free agency or the draft at the position," Kay wrote. "While the Cardinals have a foundational pass-catcher in Marvin Harrison Jr. to build around for the long haul, adding Hill would give quarterback Kyler Murray the weapons he needs to contend in wide-open NFC West races this coming year and over the next few seasons." Hill, who was named to the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team, has put together a laundry list of accomplishments since his rookie season in 2016. He is a Super Bowl champion, a five-time First-Team All-Pro, and an eight-time Pro Bowler. Royals' pitching staff dealt concerning injury
The post Royals' pitching staff dealt concerning injury appeared first on ClutchPoints. With the Kansas City Royals fighting to remain in the mix of the AL Central, the club received some concerning news regarding one of their starting pitchers. Reports indicate that Cole Ragan's injury is potentially more serious than previously thought, and the club is currently waiting for test results. Advertisement Ragans is dealing with a rotator cuff strain, according to Anne Rogers of Manager Matt Quatraro claims the club has yet to determine how long the 27-year-old pitcher will be out for, but it sounds like Ragans will be on the injured list for quite some time. 'Royals didn't provide many details about the severity of Ragans' rotator cuff strain. Quatraro said that they were waiting for a few test results to come back before determining severity and timeline. Doesn't sound like it will be a quick IL stint like last time, though.' Rogers reports that the Royals had originally hoped for Cole Ragans to return to the mound soon after initially injuring his shoulder in the previous week. But Ragans felt something wrong with his shoulder despite Kansas City giving him a few extra days to rest to manage the injury. 'Ragans felt shoulder soreness after his start last week against STL. Team had pushed Ragans back a few days in the rotation to see if it would go away. He was feeling OK, then it popped up again, playing catch [Tuesday]. That led to getting scans/testing.' Advertisement The Royals will continue to monitor Ragans' status closely. In an ideal world, Ragans avoids a tear in his rotator cuff and only needs to be on the 10 or 15-day IL. But a trip to the 60-day IL is certainly in play. It's been a rocky season for the 2024 All-Star, as Ragans has not been as effective this season as he was last year. Through 48.2 innings pitched, the Royals' starting pitcher owns a 5.18 ERA and 1.295 WHIP while recording 76 strikeouts. Related: Jac Caglianone's 'super fired up' admission for Royals' home debut

Jarren Duran of Red Sox gets 100% real about fans at Yankee Stadium
The post Jarren Duran of Red Sox gets 100% real about fans at Yankee Stadium appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Boston Red Sox want to turn their season around after falling to fourth place in the American League East. They sent their ace pitcher Garrett Crochet to the mound Saturday night in their first series of the year against the New York Yankees. The high-profile series between the two ancient rivals brought out the national television cameras of the Fox Network. That broadcast regularly features an in-game interview with a player in the game, and broadcasters Joe Davis and John Smoltz spoke to Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran during the second inning at Yankee Stadium. Advertisement The Red Sox took the field in the bottom of the second with a 1-0 lead, but Austin Wells hit a three-run home run for the Yankees. Despite seeing his team lose the lead — temporarily — Duran kept up his conversation with the broadcasters. He said he enjoyed playing in front of the vocal Yankee fans, but he was getting a bit of a respite because he was conversing with Davis and Smoltz. 'Knowing you're playing the Yankees, who are always good, you got the fans behind you, chirping you all game,' Duran said. 'Which is kind of nice, having you guys in my ear, I can't even hear 'em right now.' Red Sox fight back, but have a long way to go Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-Imagn Images After the Wells blast, the Red Sox showed signs of life by scoring five runs in the top of the third inning and two more run in the fourth inning. However, the Red Sox have lost 9 of 12 games and are 10 1/2 games behind the Yankees. Advertisement Their 30-35 record is a major disappointment because they were expected to make a run at a playoff spot this season and possibly compete with the Yankees for first place in the division this season. There is time to turn their season around, but the team has played poorly from a defensive perspective and their inability to hit with runners in scoring position has been a major problem for manager Alex Cora. The Red Sox have suffered major injuries to superstar third baseman Alex Bregman and first baseman Triston Casas. Bregman was playing at an All-Star level before he suffered a quad injury in mid-May. He is expected to be out of action for approximately two months. Casas was struggling badly before he ruptured his patellar tendon and was lost for the season. The Red Sox have been looking for an adequate replacement for him at first base but have not found one. Advertisement If the Red Sox have any chance of rebounding from this point, they need improvement from their pitching staff, defense and all-around play.
