'Govinda dus ladkiyon ke saath relationship rakhe, par Sunita ke sath uska Amar Prem Hai,' says producer Pahlaj Nihalini dismissing rumours of their divorce
A while ago, rumours were rife that Sunita Ahuja and
Govinda
are headed for a divorce. Some reports also suggested that this divorce is due to the 'Hero No 1' actor having an affair with some actress of Marathi cinema.
In a recent interview, producer Pahlaj Nihalini who was very close to actor when he started out and worked with him on movies like 'Aankhen' and 'Shola Aur Shabnam' has opened up on Sunita and Govinda.
When asked about rumours of Govinda and Sunita's divorce, Pahlaj said in an interview with Vickey Lalwani, "Dekho Sunita aur Govinda ka amar prem hai. Kahan pe kya hai kitna hai, naap tol ke nahi bol raha. Sunita muhffat hai par Govinda usse bahar jaata nahi hai.
She is always with him. (Sunita and Govinda's love is eternal. She is outspoken and says the truth but Govinda will never get away from her)."
The host further asked, "Par aise rumours bhi the ke Govinda ke life mein koi Marathi actress hai." Reacting to it, Nihalini said, "Bhale Govinda dus ladkiyon ke saath relationship rakhe, par Sunita se alag nahi hoga. (He may have an affair with ten girls, but he will never be away from Sunita)."
He further added, "Then there were also talks about them living separately. Alag rehte hai shuru se kyunki Govinda wahan meeting rakhta hai aur late sota hai. Abhi Govinda ek shooting nahi kar raha hai par har din show kar raha hai. Sunita business dekh rahi hai. Woh hamesha saath hai. Haalanki main touch mein nahi hu. (They have always had two houses because Govinda conducts his meetings late at night and he sleeps late.
He is not shooting for any movies at the moment but he does shows everyday and Sunita handles his business and everything completely)."
Nihalini explained that whatever Sunita is saying about Govinda is helping him only. "Sunita banaavati nahi hai. Agar woh kuch bol rahi hai toh marketing kiski ho rahi hai? Govinda ki. (She's not fake. Whatever she's saying, that is marketing for Govinda only)."
When further asked if this sort of marketing has helped Govinda at all, as he's still not getting any work. Pahlaj said, "Log darte hai ke bhaiya yeh time dega ya nahi aayega ya nahi set pe. I recommended him that if Govinda is serious, he will come at 6am also. 'Rangeela Raja' mein subah 6 baje aata tha. Dedication hai toh puri dedication hai. Govinda ka career pehle actors ne kharab kiya jinko lagaa woh competition hai aur uske baad multiplex ne life kharab ki jaise uski movies nahi lete the.
