Before Pyaar Ka Punchnama bikini scene, Nushrratt Bharuccha went on a solo foreign trip so she could wear swimwear ‘day and night': ‘Kabhi pehna nahi tha'
Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has often opened up about being judged and trolled for her personal choices – visiting temples, outfits, etc. In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, the actor recalled the time when she had to wear a bikini in Luv Ranjan's Pyaar Ka Punchnama, alongside Kartik Aaryan. Opening up about it during a candid conversation, Nushrratt revealed that she went on an international solo trip and wore a bikini for three straight days to get accustomed with the idea of it.
When asked about gaining the courage to wear a bikini for the film, she shared, 'I never learned how to act, so whatever I do in real life or how my experience has been, it is easier to do that on screen. However, bikini maine kabhi pehna nahi tha (I never wore a bikini in my life).'
The actor expressed her concern to the director Luv Ranjan. 'So, I was telling Luv sir that my biggest problem is that even if I wear it, I won't be able to feel comfortable in it. How will I contribute to your shot? I have to feel okay doing it internally, I haven't owned it yet. I need to be able to experience and own it to do it.'

Nushrratt came to a solution by going on an international holiday alone. 'Maine ek solo trip maar li abroad (I went on an international solo trip). Because, you can't really wear a bikini and roam around in India, let's be realistic. I wore bikinis for three days, from morning till night. In the hotel, swimming pool, beach, everywhere. I would do an overthrow and go in a bikini everywhere.'
She further added, 'I did it consciously because I wanted to break my own mind, tabboo, or consciousness of it, by saying that I am roaming in a bikini. It is so liberating. In the middle of the second day, I had forgotten that I was in a bikini, it just felt normal. Haan main yahi toh pehenke ghoom rahi hu, isme kya hai? I wanted to get over the fixation I have about it.'
On the work front, Nushrratt Bharuccha was last seen in Amazon Prime Video's horror thriller film Chhorii 2, alongside Soha Ali Khan.

The Traitors: What You Get When Bigg Boss And Roadies Have A Baby
Amazon Prime Video on Friday released the trailer of its new reality show The Traitors at an event in Mumbai - and let's just say, the drama is already real and the knives are out (metaphorically for now). Think of it as a spicy cocktail of Bigg Boss chaos and Roadies betrayal. But this time, there are 20 contestants, 3 secret traitors, and one simple rule: Trust no one. You can smile, hug, and make friends... But be careful, there's a good chance you might be hugging your enemy. Sounds like a regular Monday at work, doesn't it? Chaos And Betrayal But Made In India This show has already caused 'drama' in over 30 countries. Now, it's set to turn Indian screens into war zones. The original recipe is international, but the spice is 100% desi. The casting is straight out of a reel trending on social media. There are influencers with millions of followers, TV stars, fashionistas, comedians, and even a poker champ. The idea? Bring in people who already know how to perform and ensure their followers come along for the ride. Smart move, Prime Video. Very smart. At the helm of this wild journey is none other than Karan Johar, who is trading in film scripts for mind games as the host (but not of Koffee With Karan). Picture him channelling Salman Khan on Bigg Boss with more sass and a sharper wardrobe. Decoding The Game Of The Traitors The first episode of The Traitors will arrive on the streamer on June 12, with new episodes dropping every Thursday at 8 pm. Each week, the show promises to offer a sneak peek into emotional breakdowns, dramatic accusations, and friendships that go from "bestie" to "betrayer" in perhaps less than 60 seconds. But here's the real game: it's not just about winning money - it's about earning trust too. And that, dear reader, is the rarest currency in any reality show. If reality TV was a video game, The Traitors is boss level. From the looks of it, it's smart, sneaky, and emotionally messy - just how we like it. Meet the 20 Brave (Or Foolish?) Contestants of the Traitors Raftaar - Rapper, reality TV show judge, and possibly too chill for all the drama Karan Kundrra - Actor, host, and reality TV regular Apoorva Makhija - Fashion influencer with a strong game face Sufi Motiwala - Fashion critic who'll probably read everyone's outfits AND motives Nikita Luther - Poker champ; bluffing is her cardio Sahil Salathia - Actor, model, maybe a future traitor? Jannat Zubair - Gen Z queen with a million fans Uorfi Javed - Social media's wildcard; expect fireworks Raj Kundra - Businessman-husband of Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty and now a reality player Elnaaz Norouzi - Glam, grit, and maybe game Lakshmi Manchu - South Indian star power Harsh Gujral - Comedian and actor who'll laugh through the lies Anshula Kapoor - Arjun Kapoor's sister and a rising social media star out to make her own mark Sudhanshu Pandey - That one serious contestant who might surprise us Janhvi Gaur - Digital creator with killer instincts? Purav Jha - Gen Z actor, possibly the stealthiest of them all Jasmin Bhasin - TV sweetheart-turned-reality TV warrior Maheep Kapoor - Fabulous wife with a sharp tongue Ashish Vidyarthi - Veteran actor ready to outplay them all Mukesh Chhabra - Casting king now cast into the drama himself

Karan Johar says he ‘lost all trust' in Maheep Kapoor after The Traitors; Raj Kundra jokes about using the ‘nepo husband' card
As if the world hadn't already been gripped enough by the globally acclaimed reality show The Traitors, Amazon Prime Video India is set to launch its own adaptation. The official trailer of the show dropped today on YouTube, generating significant buzz, especially with Karan Johar revealed as the host. Speaking at the trailer launch event, Karan described the show as one 'characterised by lies, deceit, betrayal, and a whole lot of drama!' He went on to call its structure 'the best format of any reality show in the world.' Karan also mentioned Maheep Kapoor, who gained notoriety through his Netflix-produced reality series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. She returns to reality TV as one of the contestants on The Traitors. Reacting to her involvement, the filmmaker quipped, 'I can't really trust her with anything now,' referencing the deceptive nature of the game. Another prominent face in the lineup is Apoorva Makhija, marking her first public appearance after the India's Got Latent controversy. Speaking at the event, she remarked: 'I think people just think being a red flag is about lying, manipulation and deception, and all of that is true. But to require that, you need brains, which unfortunately most of these people don't have. So I don't know if I'm the biggest red flag, but I use one more brain cell at all times.' Also turning heads was influencer and fashion commentator Sufi Motiwala, who offered a bold self-description: 'You expect me to be nice, but I play dirty in this game. Imagine if Rakhi Sawant and Paris Hilton had a baby — that's what I'm giving on this show, and that is a 10 on 10.' A post shared by SCREEN (@ieentertainment) Among the most unexpected contestants is businessman Raj Kundra. Known for his public appearances in a face mask, he commented on how the mystery surrounding him could work in his favour: 'Jabhi maine mask pehna hai, logon ko laga hai ki main kya chhupaa raha hoon. Ek mystery hai, and that mystery might help me in this game. Ye Kalyug ka show hai Traitors, nobody knows who is your friend and enemy. Toh yahi strategy lekar, I hope jo ye mystery hai woh mujhe help karegi. Aur last but not least, Karan sir host kar rahe hain… toh woh 'nepo husband' waala card toh zarur use karunga (Whenever I've worn the mask, people wonder what I'm hiding. There's a mystery, and that might help me here. This is a show for the age of Kalyug — no one knows who's a friend or enemy. I'm entering with a strategy, and I hope the mystery works in my favour. And since Karan sir is hosting, I'm definitely going to play the 'nepo husband' card).' Making her reality debut is Anshula Kapoor, sister of actor Arjun Kapoor. Reflecting on her persona, she said, 'I might look innocent and calm, I may look cute even, but acting toh humare khoon mein hai… and killing it with a little bit of confidence and a smile on my face is my forte.' Set to premiere on June 12, The Traitors will drop new episodes every Thursday at 8 pm., culminating in a high-stakes grand finale. The show features a fiery lineup of 20 contestants: Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva Makhija, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Norouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and Uorfi Javed — each navigating a game built on deception, manipulation, and strategy.
