Being a newcomer in the film industry, Vedang Raina feels that he has entered the industry at a time when everything is shifting quickly. The usual ways of doing things don't seem to work anymore. He believes that after COVID, there was a big transformation and that change is still ongoing. He stepped in right after this turning point, which makes the journey different and challenging.
Speaking with Hindustan Times, the actor said, 'There's no formula anymore, like first do action then a rom-com. It's just about choosing interesting scripts and trusting in the writing and the maker and seeing how it goes from there. It's difficult in a way where you can't predict anything. But as an artist, that gives me the freedom that I'm just going to pick things that I believe in. I think my generation of actors will be like the herald of this change and I'm excited about it. I'm excited to see what my peers do and what kind of scripts come to me. Hopefully, there is a change for the better."
After winning hearts with his performance alongside Alia Bhatt in Jigra, Vedang Raina is now getting ready for his next big project. He will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's upcoming period love story, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah and Sharvari. Arjun Kapoor, on the other hand, is set to appear in the comedy sequel No Entry 2, where he will share the screen with Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.
