Kush Shah also recalled working with Dilip Joshi and stated that he "loved" each day he spent on the sets of TMKOC.
Kush Shah has opened up on quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In a recent interview, the young actor, who used to play the role of Goli Hathi in the popular sitcom, shared that he misses being on sets. Kush mentioned that it was also important for him to leave the show because it was time for him to 'do something".
'I miss being on sets because that is my home. But I had to take this decision for me because I turned 27 and I felt this is the time to do something. I feel this show is going to go on forever as viewers are not going to stop loving the show. I love TMKOC, the people on the show, I genuinely love it and I was addicted to that environment. We shot during COVID as well. We shifted to Daman and shot there. There has not been a single day when I've woken up and I don't have to go anywhere. Then there comes a time when you start missing it," Kush said during his appearance on the podcast, Just Kidding with Sid.
Kush further recalled working with Dilip Joshi and stated that he 'loved" each day he spent on the sets of TMKOC. 'I was in 5th class when I started doing Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. I started working during the 5th standard vacation. We used to sit with Dilip sir with scripts in our hands and would improvise. I started learning from him as a kid and enjoyed it. I have learnt a lot, especially from Bhide (Mandar) uncle and Dilip sir. They have a crazy timing. I loved acting and enjoyed each day on the sets," he added.
Kush Shah left TMKOC in 2024 in order to pursue higher studies abroad. He has been replaced by Dharmit Shah on the show.
TMKOC has been running on television for over 17 years now. Kush was not the first actor to leave the popular sitcom. Previously, several other actors, including Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Jennifer Mistry and Raj Anadkat also left the show.

How To Get Chips Without Leaving The Couch? This Wife Just Cracked The Code

Last Updated: The woman pulled off a snack prank on her husband in the most unusual (and lazy) way. Are you lazy? Of course, everyone feels lazy sometimes. But the real question is: when does laziness cross the line? While there's no clear answer, a recent video by social media influencer Sheena Malwani might just offer a hint. Known for her live online concerts where she takes song requests from friends and family in real time, Sheena shared a video that's both hilarious and downright clever. In it, she pulls off a snack prank on her husband in the most unusual (and lazy) way. Let's see how she does it. The video starts with an on-screen text: 'Calling his phone in the other room…" We see Sheena lounging casually on the sofa, phone in hand. Suddenly, her husband's phone, left in the other room, starts ringing. She calls out, 'Your phone is ringing." Naturally, he pauses the TV and gets up to check. At first, her husband is surprised, but then he bursts out laughing. 'You called me in the kitchen to bring you chips? This is bloody brilliant. I'll bring chips." He added, 'When you lose, you lose. You take it like a champ. What chips do you want? How many do you want? I'll go to the grocery store barefoot even. This is the smartest thing you've ever come up with. This is amazing. I'm cooking lunch and dinner for tomorrow!" Clearly, he is not just amused, he is also impressed. And honestly, we totally agree and (taking notes from Sheena, of course!). The caption along with the video reads: 'Planted his phone in the other room for when I wanted a snack #prank." The video has gone viral, racking up over four million views. While Sheena's prank was undeniably clever, social media users couldn't stop talking about her husband's enthusiastic reaction. A user commented, 'How did his reaction end up being funnier than the actual prank." Another added, 'That's an emotionally intelligent man !! Love how he gave you credit!! Happens all too rarely lately." 'He was so impressed. He's going to be using that trick on the kids all the time now," someone remarked. A person shared, 'His reaction isn't just a green flag, it's a whole other green universe," while another said, 'Love a man who gives credit where credit is due!!" Sheena Malwani has built a strong online presence with over two million Instagram followers and 2.25 million YouTube subscribers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began hosting live concerts online, initially just for friends and family. One of these moments was captured on video and quickly went viral, earning her wider recognition. With years of experience singing in choirs, churches, weddings, and bands, Sheena delivers genuine and heartfelt performances that deeply resonate with audiences. She gained even more attention last year when she performed the national anthem at Game 2 of the NBA Finals. When Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty spoke about Bollywood's class divide

and are one of the most successful actor-director duos in Hindi cinema. Out of Rohit Shetty's 14 films, 12 starred Ajay. These include all four movies from the comedy series 'Golmaal' and the four films in the cop universe, starting with 'Singham' in 2011 and going up to 'Sooryavanshi' in 2021. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In 2014, before the release of Singham Returns, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty spoke about the class divide in the Hindi film industry during a promotional interview with Film Companion. They referred to a message Ajay had sent to Rohit back in 2011 on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan, where he said:"I am so happy that people who abused your kind of movies want to work with you now", the actor and the filmmaker were asked if a class divide exists within Bollywood. The Tanhaji star, Ajay Devgn, said he personally hadn't faced the issue but had heard people call Golmaal 'trash cinema.' He pointed out the irony that those same people later approached Rohit Shetty to direct films for them, realizing that they needed such so-called 'trash cinema' to stay relevant in the industry. Rohit Shetty, who also hosts the popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, said he has no ego or arrogance about his work and believes he's simply making films for his audience. He shared that many people have now come around, saying he's not doing anything wrong or harmful. Referring to the earlier criticism from the elite crowd, Rohit humorously compared himself to Amitabh Bachchan's 'bad guy' character from Deewar (1975), calling the critics Nirupa Roy and the elite Shashi Kapoor. He concluded by saying he's happy being Amitabh—the so-called bad guy—at the end of the day. In November last year, Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi revived the Indian box office, earning nearly ₹200 crores after theatres reopened nationwide following a two-year Covid-19 lockdown. Rohit and Ajay have also hinted at the next film in their cop universe, Singham 3, though an official announcement is still awaited. Rohit Shetty

Stalin's 20km roadshow a tribute to Madurai's historical roots

Madurai: Amid cheers, music, and a sea of DMK flags, chief minister M K Stalin on Saturday evening led a 20-kilometre roadshow through the heart of Madurai, in a grand political outreach that also paid tribute to the city's historical roots. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The event culminated in the unveiling of a bronze statue of the city's first mayor, Subbiah Muthu, popularly known as 'Muthannan'. Stalin, who arrived from Chennai earlier in the afternoon, rested briefly at a hotel near the airport before beginning the roadshow around 5.30pm at Perungudi, near Dr B R Ambedkar statue. Ministers P Moorthy and Palanivel Thiaga Rajan accompanied him. The convoy passed through Avaniyapuram, Villapuram, Jaihindpuram, Palanganatham, Kalavasal and other neighbourhoods. Thousands gathered on either side of the road waving party flags and chanting pro-DMK slogans. At several points, Stalin was seen waving back, making quick stops to greet residents, and interacting with children. One heartwarming moment occurred in Parakshathi Nagar, Avaniyapuram, where children dressed as leaders like Karunanidhi, Periyar, Bharathiyar, and Bharat Mata welcomed him. A child impersonating Karunanidhi kissed Stalin, who responded with a flying kiss, sparking loud cheers. At Jaihindpuram, the CM inaugurated a ₹50-lakh high truss shade at Veera Kaliamman temple, funded through minister Moorthy's MLA development fund. It is expected to benefit the temple and community events, a longtime demand of Jaihindpuram residents. The convoy had 37 organised reception points with cultural programmes and drum performances along the route. Stalin made a brief visit to the residence of renowned Tamil scholar Solomon Pappaiah. Kalavasal, Simmakkal, Goripalayam, and Palanganatham witnessed slow movement and diversions for hours. Corporation sanitation workers swiftly cleared accumulated waste and flower garlands after the convoy passed. More than 2,000 police personnel were deployed along the route. Barricades were placed at intersections and drone surveillance was carried out to monitor crowd density. Even though a van was arranged, the CM covered many areas on foot, making it difficult for the cops to control the crowd. The event also served as a precursor to the DMK's general council meeting scheduled for Sunday, where major resolutions are expected. With reports of a new Covid-19 variant surfacing, the DMK high command has urged all cadres and attendees to wear face masks and follow health protocols throughout the meeting and associated events. Following the roadshow, Stalin posted on social media that Madurai shook with love and energy. "From 4:30 pm to 9.30 pm, the streets of Madurai overflowed with people, warmth, and unwavering support. I was truly moved by the affection shown by the great people of Madurai. To everyone who welcomed me with the heartfelt words, 'Madurai is the very definition of affection,' my deepest thanks. Your love and support continue to be my greatest strength!"
