Ex-WWE Chairman 'Vince McMahon wants to buy back the company' - just one year after sex trafficking lawsuit led him to resign - but would TKO sell back to him?
The former chairman resigned from the company in January 2024 following a lawsuit filed by ex-employee Janel Grant, alleging sexual harassment and trafficking.
Since leaving, McMahon has been selling off his shares in the company, and is believed to have made over $1.5billion (£1.1bn) from these sales.
TKO President Mark Shapiro has previously insisted that McMahon will not return to the WWE and that he has no internal contact with the company.
He said in March 2024: 'We're not in conversations with him [McMahon]. We don't know his motives, his plans or his timeline.
'He doesn't work for the company, doesn't come into the office and he's not coming back to the company. And that's where we sit.'
And it seems TKO have double down on their stance, as a new report from PWN Reports has claimed that the company still have no interest in selling to McMahon.
In fact, WWE insiders reportedly view the notion of McMahon returning as laughable, considering the heinous nature of the allegations made towards him.
A post on X read: 'I was given word that TKO is not interested in selling off #WWE. And the source I spoke with chuckled at the thought of Vince purchasing it back.
'It's very possible he may feel like he wants it back, but seems very unlikely at this point since WWE is not for sale.'
Part of Grant's 67-page lawsuit accused McMahon of pressuring her for sexual relations in exchange for her job.
McMahon allegedly 'greeted her in his underwear, touched her, repeatedly asked for hugs, and spent hour sharing intimate details about his personal life'.
Once employed, Grant alleged that McMahon and John Laurinaitis, who served as head of talent relations for the WWE, sexually assaulted her 'while colleagues were busy at their desks.'
Her allegations include that McMahon and Laurinaitis locked her in a room at the WWE's Stamford, Connecticut headquarters in June of 2021 and took turns sexually assaulting during the work day.
The married McMahon is additionally accused of trafficking Grant to other men, forcing her to perform sex acts 'on demand' and sharing nude photographs of the plaintiff.
In one alleged text message from 2020, he is accused of sharing a photo of her with others and writing: 'She may scream and try to say NO!!although it would B difficult to say anything with a c*** down her throat.'
Another message allegedly sent by McMahon to Grant a month earlier read: 'I'm the only one who owns U and controls who I want to f*** U.'
A spokesperson for McMahon stated after Grant's allegations: 'This lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth. He [McMahon] will vigorously defend himself.'

A major WWE match announced for SummerSlam 2025 is in serious jeopardy after a top superstar wasn't allowed to travel back to the United States. On the first night of the August 2 and 3 double header, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul are set to face Randy Orton and Grammy Award-winning singer Jelly Roll in a tag team match. McIntyre, known as the Scottish Warrior, has been back in the UK for a friend's wedding in England over the weekend, but he's now claimed he was stopped from boarding his flight back to the US where he has lived for a number of years. You wanna know how it's been capped off? i can't get back into America, They wouldn't let me board my flight,' he said in the video. Not this time.' McIntyre noted that there was an issue with his documentation, despite never having a problem any of the other times he's been travelling. He continued: ''Drew, you don't have your US passport. I know who you are. I know you've lived there for a long time, I know you're showing me pictures of your US passport, and your global entry. ''I know exactly who you are, your property and the likes. But no, we can't let you in the country buddy. 'So my wife and I panic, we say we've got a sick animal at home, we're good people, we care about our animals, we care about people. In the end, his wife travelled back alone 'against her will' to see their pet cat, while McIntyre had to turn around and leave the airport. Ever the professional, the former world champion used the real life incident to continue his on-screen feud with Jelly Roll. 'Here I am. So what happened, what changed this trip? Jelly Roll. You know somebody, got some connections? You've got your 15 minutes of fame right now, can get away with some stuff? Amusement park ride stops in mid-air leaving thrill seekers dangling in terror
Shocking footage captures an amusement park ride stopped in mid-air, leaving riders dangling high above the ground. The Sol Spin ride at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, suddenly malfunctioned Saturday afternoon as it was rotating 360 degrees. Video from the Citizen App showed about 20 riders stuck in mid-air, with many screaming, some swinging their legs, and others leaning sideways on one of the ride's six arms. "The safety of our guests is a top priority. Today the ride did not complete a full cycle as a safety precaution. The ride was stopped for approximately five minutes,' Knott's Berry Farm said in a statement to ABC7. The ride then reopened after 'a full safety inspection,' the statement continued. The Independent has reached out to the amusement park for more information. 'This thrilling ride is one for the brave,' Knott's Farm says of Sol Spin. It rotates riders in three directions simultaneously, according to the park's website. 'Sol Spin sends guests on a thrilling adventure over six stories high as they rotate in all directions on one of six spinning arms. Each arm rotates 360-degrees independent of one another providing a different experience every ride,' the website states. Social media users replied to videos of the harrowing incident, calling it a 'nightmare.' One X user remarked: 'Oh. Hell. No. One of my worst fears unlocked.' 'What a nightmare!' another said. Another recalled a similar incident last year, put it succinctly: 'Again.' Last November, the same ride left 22 people suspended in the air for two hours due to 'technical difficulties,' a spokesperson for the amusement park said at the time. Some riders left the thrill ride in wheelchairs while two female guests were taken to the hospital for further evaluation "out of an abundance of caution,' the spokesperson said in November. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health then inspected the ride, KTLA reported.

Turtle meets grim fate after Florida woman attempts to smuggle creature through airport TSA inside her bra
A Florida woman attempted to smuggle turtles through airport security by hiding them inside her bra - leaving one of the creature to meet a grim and tragic fate. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Miami International Airport made the shocking discovery during a routine security screening where they found two live turtles stuffed inside a traveler's bra. The unnamed woman was allegedly attempting to fly out of Miami airport but she was caught red-handed when TSA agent cracked her shell of a plan. Tragically, one of the animals did not survive the ordeal. The surviving turtle was handed over to the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife, which is now caring for the creature. In a now-viral Facebook post, TSA shared the unique story and reminded passengers that while pets are allowed to travel, there are strict guidelines in place. 'OK friends, please - and we cannot emphasize this enough - stop hiding animals in weird places on your body and then trying to sneak them through airport security,' TSA urged in the post. 'No, really,' the post continued. 'A Florida woman traveling out of Miami International Airport (MIA) recently attempted to take a pair of turtles through our checkpoint, and the turtles were stuffed inside… yes, you guessed it… her brassiere.' TSA Officials blasted the irresponsible pet owner for her reckless stunt in the pun-filled post. 'We want you to be able to travel with your pets, and you turtle-ly can, but please travel with them safely.' 'You can start by reaching out to your airline for their rules concerning pets on board flights.' The officials reminded passengers of basic rules when traveling with pets - emphasizing that all small pets must be carried through security checkpoint, not concealed under a shirt. 'As far as TSA screening goes, small pets are allowed through our checkpoint but must be removed from any carriers and carried through the checkpoint (notice we said 'carried' and not 'hidden underneath your clothing').' 'Sadly, for this MIA traveler, one of the turtles didn't survive. The surviving turtle was turned over to the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife, and we're thankful for their partnership throughout this incident.' The TSA officials did not release the name of the passenger responsible, nor did they provide the the motive behind her actions. It's unclear at this point whether she will face any criminal charges. The post was met with mixed reactions - with some users outraged by the woman's mishandling of the animals and others shocked by the absurdity of the story. The woman told agents at Tampa International Airport that the snake was 'an emotional support pet,' a TSA spokesperson said at the time. The TSA released X-ray images of the snake on Friday. The images showed the animal curled up in the corner of a tray next to ordinary items such as sneakers, a belt, and a laptop. The agency says it notified the airline which confirmed that it would not allow the snake in the plane's cabin. The TSA said snakes are never allowed to travel in carry-on luggage and only on some airlines can they be checked-in.
