Here's how to celebrate Latin Restaurant Week in NYC this month

In 2016, Warren Luckett launched the first-ever Black Restaurant Week to showcase he diversity of Black food across the country. After meeting Karinn Chavarria, the two decided to expand on the concept, this time giving Latin chefs, bar talents and industry folks their dues. Together, they founded Latin Restaurant Week, a two-week-long celebration that highlights the culinary contributions of the Latin community. Since getting its start in Houston in 2019, the movement has expanded to cities nationwide, including Washington DC, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta, landing in New York in 2022. Now returning for a third year, the initiative is coming back this June, continuing to promote Hispanic and Latin cuisine across the diaspora. Kicking off last month in Washington DC, Latin Restaurant Week is coming back to New York City from June 6 to June 20. For over two weeks, 15 bars and restaurants across New York City and New Jersey will be participating in the festivities, offering delectable specials from prix fixe menus to discounted deals. In conjunction with Feed the Soul Foundation, the initiative aims to amplify visibility and support one of the largest and most influential ethnic groups in the region. In face of rising food costs and shrinking margins, the events hope to act as a source of support in the face of stagnant margins, providing a boost in stability for Latino and Hispanic culinary business owners. 'I'm spending £30,000 to see Beyoncé 15 times on her Cowboy Carter tour'

'I'm spending £30,000 to see Beyoncé 15 times on her Cowboy Carter tour' Taylor Sinclair has been obsessed with the Single Ladies singer since she was a little girl and recently camped overnight at the Principality Stadium in order to bag the best spot at the Beyoncé concert there Taylor Sinclair is spending £30,000 to see Beyoncé (Image: Taylor Sinclair ) There are lots of mega fans in the world who follow their favourite artists across the globe and loyally support every tour, concert, and venture. One of them is Taylor Sinclair, who you may remember from when we spoke to her in 2023 outside the Principality Stadium. Taylor, who is 28, from Belfast and works in finance, will see Beyoncé a whopping 15 times on the current Cowboy Carter tour at an incredible cost of around £30,000. The Cowboy Carter tour kicked off on Monday, April 28, in LA, and Taylor was of course there. She saw Beyoncé in LA three times. Now Beyoncé is coming to the UK, performing in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from Thursday, June 5. There are verified resale tickets available on Ticketmaster, here. We caught up with Taylor before her mammoth stint following Beyoncé across the world. Explaining her love for Beyoncé, Taylor said: "It was just something from a very young age. "I remember my family members would have made jokes like kids have their little thing that they just become obsessed with and their family are like, ,oh, she will grow out of it, it's just a wee phase, and I never really grew out of the phase. From such a young age it was always Beyoncé." She also spoke about the insane demand for tickets, which saw Ticketmaster crash for multiple users, and the prices Beyoncé was charging. Taylor said: "This tour was a bit of a nightmare. The London shows weren't too bad but for the US shows specifically it was pretty difficult to get tickets in the general sale. Paris was pretty difficult. "London wasn't too bad because the tickets I was going for, the VIP tickets which were a bit more expensive and I think people were maybe a bit shocked at the general price of the London tickets in general. "Across the board, Ticketmaster wasn't great and some of the sections that I wanted for the US shows sold out pretty quickly." Taylor is a dedicated fan (Image: Taylor Sinclair ) Taylor added: "They are very expensive. I was surprised at the general admission prices, the VIP prices haven't gone up massively since the last tour, Paris was a bit more expensive. "I think the price of everything, concert tickets in general, are getting a lot more expensive. I was a bit shocked the prices had gone up for general admission but for the VIP packages I was going for, there wasn't a massive difference. I don't think I've been to any concert recently and the tickets haven't been around £100 so I think for an artist like Beyonce, I don't think it's that bad. The most expensive ticket Taylor has bought for the Cowboy Cater tour was $2,000, which is about £1,467. In total, with the travelling and the ticket prices, Taylor thinks following the tour will cost her about £30,000. The last time we met Taylor she queued and camped overnight at the Principality Stadium to ensure she had the best spot for the concert. "Last time was a little bit rough, after the first show in Cardiff I remember thinking to myself, never again, I felt so sick the next day but I did do it for a couple more shows in the UK. "If you want to get the spot you want to be at for the show you need to make the sacrifice. I'll be better prepared this time though!" Despite going to a lot of the shows, 15 in total, which include six in London, three in LA, three in Paris, and two in Washington DC, on her own, Taylor will be meeting up with the Beyoncé community. She said: "It is a bit of a community, every show that I am going to there is someone that I know who is going to be there. "I've been going to Beyoncé concerts by myself for about 10 years now, I've met so many people from everywhere so I have been able to link in with them. Article continues below "I'm quite lucky that I've met a lot of friends that I can enjoy the experience with. I think it makes it to be honest." Beyoncé in London: Cowboy Carter Tour timings, dates, set list and everything you need to know

Beyoncé's Renaissance tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a colossal occasion. Across five nights in summer 2023, the Beyhive descended on north London in their droves, decked out in rhinestones, cowboy hats and leather jackets for the megastar's first world tour in seven years. But, thankfully, she's not making us wait that long again. Just two years later, Beyoncé is on her way back to the stadium with more breathtaking stage production, flawless choreography and mesmerising vocals for the Cowboy Carter tour (full title: 'Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour'). Planning to be in north London for a real-life boogie and a real-life hoedown with Beyonce herself? Here's all the important info you need. When is Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour in London? Who will be supporting Beyoncé in London? Beyoncé hasn't had an opening act for her Cowboy Carter shows so far and there's no info at the moment over whether someone will be supporting her at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In terms of special guests, there's some speculation that Sir Paul McCartney could join the star on stage for her rendition of the Beatles song 'Blackbird'. Are there any banned items? As per Tottenham Hotspur Stadium's policy, you can't bring in food, liquids, umbrellas any bigger than 1m, flares, smoke canisters, air horns, laser devices, fireworks, professional cameras, musical instruments or spray paint.
