Swiss star Marco Odermatt picks up latest crystal trophy and breaks it at World Cup finals
Odermatt now has 13 World Cup season-long trophies — four in GS, two in downhill, three in super-G, and four for capturing the overall crown.
He can afford to break a few. He's not planning on ordering a replacement trophy, either.

Odermatt went into the final GS of the season with the crown already wrapped up. He finished the race runner-up to his teammate, Loic Meillard. Then, they received their hardware.

First up was the medal ceremony for the winners of the race.
Then, another ceremony to hand out trophies for the season-long standings, in which Odermatt was followed by Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen and Meillard.
Odermatt was celebrating with his Swiss team when the accident happened.
It's not the first time Odermatt has broken a trophy. He went out to celebrate his first World Cup podium finish in 2019 and dropped the trophy.
'I have half a piece of it still at home,' Odermatt said. 'It's a nice story.'
As for Wednesday's race, Meillard held on to his first-run lead and cruised to the GS win on a sun-splashed course. Meillard finished in a combined time of 2 minutes, 15.21 seconds on a warm day at Sun Valley. He beat Odermatt by 0.95 seconds, while Kristoffersen finished third.
'At the end, what's important is to push each other, try to learn from each other, to always get better year after year,' Meillard said of competing against his teammate, Odermatt.

Asked how well Odermatt is racing right now, Meillard cracked: 'At the moment, I guess I'm better. But [always] he's pretty good, yes.'

To think, Odermatt struggled to start the GS season with two 'DNFs' — did not finish. He finished on the podium in the next seven races, including three wins.
'Hopefully it's not bad luck' to break a trophy, Odermatt said with a laugh. 'It was probably a little bit of a symbol that my beginning of the season was not the very best. So after recovering from that, winning another globe was incredible.'

Simon Parker to make test debut as All Blacks make 5 changes for 2nd Argentina test
WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — All Blacks coach Scott Robertson has made five changes to his squad for the second Rugby Championship test against Argentina on Saturday, handing backrower Simon Parker his test debut. Parker's selection is the only change to the New Zealand starting XV. He comes in at No. 8 while Ardie Savea returns to his usual position on the openside flank. Eberechi Eze to miss Crystal Palace's European debut as Arsenal book medical
Eberechi Eze will not play Crystal Palace's Conference League play-off against Fredrikstad tonight as he nears a move to Arsenal. The 27-year-old forward has looked set to join Tottenham, but Arsenal made a last-minute bid to hijack the deal. All parties now expect him to join the Gunners, with a medical booked for Friday. As such, the player will not be involved as Crystal Palace play the first European match in the club's history, hosting Norwegian side Fredrikstad. Eze will be in attendance at Selhurst Park, though, in what will likely serve as his farewell to the club. Arsenal's bid for Eze is worth £67.5million, gazumping Tottenham's deal by offering improved payment terms. They are expected to wrap up personal terms in the coming days. There is a chance Eze could make his Arsenal debut against Leeds on Saturday, though he would need to be registered by noon on Friday to be eligible. The news follows Eagles manager Oliver Glasner's insistence that he would play in the match: 'He will come tomorrow to the Crystal Palace training ground, Tuesday off, we take Wednesday and I expect him to be back playing for us against Fredrikstad." Steelers' Jalen Ramsey Relishing ‘Fun' Challenge of Multiple Roles
PITTSBURGH — Jalen Ramsey hasn't been tasked with a role like he's been given in black and gold. The Pittsburgh Steelers' defensive back is getting used to his multiple responsibilities. The three-time first-team Associated Press All-Pro has bounced between cornerback, safety and nickel within Mike Tomlin's defense. He played all three during his college days at Florida State and said recently on 'The Pivot Podcast' that he gets bored while stationed solely on the perimeter. 'It's fun, for sure,' Ramsey said after practice at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Tuesday. 'Challenging at times. Just, you know, making sure I'm locked in on the various parts of it, but I enjoy it a lot. … When you go from different positions, you have to know different roles, obviously, know different alignments, assignments and different techniques. 'In a couple of those roles, I have to communicate frequently, whereas just playing outside, I don't really have to communicate as much (and) I can just kinda lock in on one specific thing.' Ramsey prides himself on providing versatility, leadership in the secondary and play-making ability. He's been fostering a stronger bond with his fellow covermen, namely Joey Porter Jr. and Darius Slay. Porter is in his third season as a pro, while Slay is much more seasoned. Both Ramsey and Slay have won Super Bowls. 'All of us have been connected one way or another in our past, whether that's through just friendships, playing on teams together or knowing each other outside of football,' Ramsey said.
