Vancouver feed store seeks help finding stolen baby goats, rabbit
In a Monday morning Facebook post, Orchards Feed said a man cut through three deadbolts and a front gate, before breaking into the goat pen and stealing the two baby goats one at a time. In an updated post, the store shared that a baby rabbit was also taken.
Now, the shop's owners are pleading with the community to help return the animals.
'This is heartbreaking. We need to find them before they are sold, or worse,' the store wrote on Facebook. 'We bottle-fed these since day 2 and they are our family, and the community has adopted them as well. We started the animal farm to help kids to the elderly with a bit of love and happiness from our animals.'
With help from security footage, the store said they have the suspect's car information, including the license plate, along with images of the suspect carrying a goat at the North Rosewood Avenue property.
While on the lookout for the animals, the feed store said they have contacted nearby businesses for their camera footage in hopes of finding the suspect.
'I'm putting everyone on blast now as I want people to know — we see you — our community sees you. We will prosecute to the highest level we can — but we will also be staying on premises and will protect our property with force,' Orchards Feed wrote. 'We are a family-owned store who is trying to improve our community.'
In an interview with KOIN 6 News, Orchards Feed General Manager Matthew Beckley said the baby goats have special dietary needs, emphasizing the need to bring them back to the store.

The suspect 'knew what they were doing,' according to Beckley. 'They came in and out within 13 minutes, breaking all the different locks trying to get in and took (the goats) one by one out.'
Beckley says the community reaction to the theft has been 'anger.'
'People are really upset, and we've had a lot of people reach out to us and say that they'll try to take care of them. We've let them know we're letting police handle it,' Beckley said. 'We do appreciate everybody who is supportive of us. We do have a lot of staff crying. We've raised these guys from day one, they're bottle-fed babies because they were rejected form their mother, so we've really grown accustomed to them, our customers love them.'

Bryan Kohberger to be sentenced as Idaho murder victims' families share impact statements today
Bryan Kohberger is set to be formally sentenced at a hearing after pleading guilty to the murders of four University of Idaho students in 2022. Kohberger's sentencing hearing is set to begin at 9 a.m. Mountain Time Wednesday, which is 11 a.m. Eastern. It is expected to last the day, with some scheduled breaks, although the judge said it could be extended into Thursday to ensure there is enough time for the families to read victim impact statements. During his plea hearing, Judge Steven Hippler said the court is not bound by the plea agreement and could impose a different sentence. Chapin, Kernodle, Mogen and Goncalves were killed at a home in Moscow, Idaho, during the early morning hours of Nov. 13, 2022. Kohberger was arrested at his parents' home in Pennsylvania six weeks later. Prosecutors said that if the case had gone to trial they would have used DNA evidence that linked Kohberger to the crime scene, his online purchase history, surveillance video of Koherger's car, and cellphone data that showed him in the vicinity of the killings. The families of the victims have been divided over the plea deal. Mogen's father told CBS News he was relieved to learn of the deal, saying it will allow his family to "actually put this behind us." The Goncalves family has bitterly criticized the agreement, and told CBS News after a gag order was lifted that they believe the plea deal gives Kohberger a chance to live a "better and more rewarding life inside" prison. Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Chapman's stepson Gregory Zecca has been placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold after 'accidentally' shooting and killing his 13-year-old son, Anthony Zecca. Greg is being monitored because he is so devastated by the loss of his only son that there are concerns he may try taking his life, a rep for the family told TMZ Tuesday. The rep made sure to note that the psych hold has nothing to do with Greg feeling guilty of a crime. The outlet reported that Greg has not been able to speak to family members or cops yet because he is heavily sedated. Page Six has reached out for comment Greg fatally shot Anthony in their Naples, Fla., apartment on Saturday night. According to the police report, the teen had an entry wound on his neck, just above his sternum, and no exit wound. Law enforcement told TMZ that Anthony had lost a ton of blood by the time they arrived. They performed CPR and other life-saving measures, including chest compressions, but he was pronounced dead just over two hours later. The firearm used in the fatal shooting was on the kitchen island when deputies arrived, per the police report. While no arrests have been made, an investigation remains ongoing. Greg is the son of Dog's wife, Francie Frane, whom he married in September 2021. 'We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,' they said in a statement. After news of the tragedy broke, social media users resurfaced photos of Greg and Anthony at a shooting range. 'Getting some range time in with our buddies @franktownfirearms,' Greg told his followers at the time. He and Anthony were all smiles as they posed with guns and practiced shooting them.
