Jay-Z removes Kanye's name from song during live appearance

Jay-Z made a surprise appearance at Beyoncé's Paris concert, performing a medley of their hits and a solo rendition of 'Ni**as in Paris.'
During his performance of the song, Jay-Z altered a lyric, replacing Kanye West's name with Beyoncé's.
This lyrical change highlights the ongoing significant fallout between Jay-Z and Kanye West, who were once close friends and collaborators.
Their feud reportedly began in 2014 after Jay-Z missed West's wedding to Kim Kardashian.
The incident follows recent public apologies from West to Jay-Z, contrasting with earlier disparaging remarks West made about Jay-Z and Beyoncé's children.

Katy Perry sparks concern as singer is struck down with 'random fever' amid Australian leg of Lifetimes Tour: 'I got very sick last night'

Katy Perry is set to kick-off a four-night run at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre this week, but some fans fear it might all be called off. The US star, 40, was spotted jetting into Kingscote Airport where she stopped to interact with fans ahead of her trip to Southern Ocean Lodge above Hanson Bay. While signing autographs and posing with fans, the singer dropped a bombshell - she had been sick with a 'random fever', reported 7NEWS Adelaide on Monday. When a man asked the Firework hitmaker if she was enjoying her stay, she said: 'Yes, but I got very sick last night. I'm trying not to get sick. I had a random fever.' In footage shared of her arrival at the airport, Katy could be seen keeping a cautious distance from fans where she could after stepping off a private jet. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, . Despite feeling unwell, she made sure not to show it as she sported a wide smile during her friendly interactions with fans. Katy will kick-off her first show in Adelaide on Thursday, with concerts also scheduled in The City of Churches for Friday, Sunday and Monday. The hitmaker surprised locals in South Australia after flying into the region by private jet for a week long vacation ahead of her shows there. The American pop star, who is on the Aussie leg of her Lifetimes Tour, took a break for some relaxation with daughter Daisy Dove, four, at a five-star lodge. Stays at the luxury, award-winning Southern Ocean Lodge comes in at a whopping AUD$3,400 per night. 'Celebrated around the world as the pioneer of experiential luxury in Australia, the new iteration of Southern Ocean Lodge has returned to crown the wildly beautiful clifftops on Kangaroo Island,' the resort's website reads. 'The new-look luxury lodge bears a similar footprint to its award-winning original, complete with breathtaking views of the Southern Ocean, magnificent Great Room and string of luxurious guest suites easing along the coastline.' Katy dressed down for her arrival, disembarking from her private jet in a tan long-sleeved shirt and cap as she hid her eyes behind some dark sunglasses. The pop star's tour Down Under comes after she sparked fresh breakup rumours by quietly renting out the home she and Orlando Bloom vowed to raise their daughter. Katy spent a fortune in legal fees to get her hands on the $30million mansion in Montecito, California when she took an ailing veteran to court. Now has exclusively revealed, after winning her years-long battle with Carl Westcott, 85, Katy has handed the keys over to actor Chris Pratt, raising fresh questions about the state of her relationship with 48-year-old Orlando. Sources said Chris, 46, and his author wife Katherine Schwarzenegger recently moved into the sprawling estate in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Rental properties in the ritzy enclave – home to Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, Prince Harry and Meghan Duchess of Sussex – can fetch as much as $120,000 per month. But the Guardians of the Galaxy hunk needed a temporary base for his spouse, 35, and three kids Lyla, four, Eloise, three, and seven-month-old Ford, while they build a new mansion in LA's Brentwood neighbourhood. 'The arrangement suits Chris but it's a bit of a surprise given how Katy fought tooth and nail to get her hands on the house,' a source told 'She previously suggested it was the ideal place for her and Orlando to raise a family. After all that time, energy and money, it seems unthinkable that they are not going to live in it.' Sources close to Katy say she intends to live in the house in the future once the short term rental is finished. Her rep declined to comment. Chris did not respond to a request for comment. Katy's about-face comes amid rumours that she and Lord of the Rings actor Orlando, parents to four-year-old Daisy Dove Orlando, are about to pull the plug on their six-year engagement. Recent reporting suggests setbacks in Katy's faltering pop career have seeped into her personal life. Her latest album 143 was panned as stale and derivative by fans and critics alike, with some calling it her worst release to date. Sources have also told that she and Orlando argued bitterly over her widely derided 11-minute Blue Origin trip into space in April. The flight became a PR disaster when Katy was mocked for her antics including holding up a daisy in zero gravity – a nod to her daughter – and dramatically kissing the earth on touchdown. She received little to no support from Orlando who blasted the 'embarrassing' debacle during an explosive row, according to our reporting. 'He told her the whole thing looked ridiculous,' a source in Katy's camp told Katy and Orlando met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016. They split for a year but got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019. Daisy Dove was born August 26, 2020.

How can I turn my passion for painting into a career and retire early?

APPRENTICE star and West Ham United vice-chair Karren Brady answers your careers questions. Here, Karren gives her expert career advice to a reader who wants to sell their artwork. Q) At the age of 53, I've taken up painting, and I think I'm pretty good. I mainly paint landscapes, and would like to see if I could make some money out of selling art. My dream would be to retire early and live off the proceeds of my paintings before drawing my pension, though I don't know how doable that is. My biggest problem is that I don't know where to start with selling paintings. I use a computer for my office job, but I'm not very technically minded and I realise I need to create a website if I want to get my artwork seen. But what else do I need to think about? Pamela, via email A) It's fantastic that you've discovered a real passion for painting, and even better that you're dreaming big and thinking about turning it into something profitable. Don't worry about jumping into building a website just yet – there are easier, more approachable ways to get your art seen. Start small – take some good photos of your work (make sure you use natural light) and open an Instagram account. The Apprentice's Karren Brady gives career advice in game of Have You Ever? The platform is free, simple to use and a great way to test the waters and see what reaction your paintings get. I'd also suggest joining local art groups on Facebook, as I've seen so many people connect, sell their work and get advice that way. Platforms like Artfinder and Etsy are also worth looking into, plus don't underestimate the value of a local craft market to get face-to-face feedback and build your confidence. Most importantly, make sure you sign your work and keep a log of each piece. Finally, try to speak to other artists whenever and wherever you can – people are often more helpful than you might expect.

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding photographer accuses the fashion industry of having a race problem

Prince Harry and Meghan caused outrage when they accused unnamed members of the Royal Family of racism in their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. Now, their wedding photographer has made his own accusations of racial prejudice against unnamed figures in the beauty industry. Alexi Lubomirski, who is white, claims that one senior magazine editor told him: 'Black girls don't carry high fashion.' He says the Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o first alerted him to the insidious issue of racism in showbusiness when he photographed her. 'She said to me, 'I really love these pictures. Can you make sure, when they're retouching the photos, they don't lighten my skin?' 'I said, 'Yeah, of course'. But I began to look at past shoots I'd done with darker-skinned models and I noticed that there was a definite difference between the images I'd submitted to magazines compared to the images that came out. 'When I looked through my archives, I also noticed how rarely I'd been allowed to shoot different types of beauty, rather than just Caucasian girls.' Lubomirski, 50, who also took the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's official engagement photos, is descended from Polish aristocracy. He says he was told that women of colour don't sell magazines. 'I would ask these editors-in-chiefs, and I'd say, 'Why don't you let me photograph dark-skinned girls on covers?'. And they'd say, 'It comes down to economics, Alexi. We know that if we put a dark-skinned girl on the cover, we're going to sell 40 per cent less copies.' 'And I said, 'Why do you think that is?' They said, 'Well, probably because we don't put them on the cover that much', and I said, 'Right, exactly.' 'Then one editor-in-chief told me, 'Listen, Alexi, the fact is, dark-skinned girls and other ethnicity can't carry high fashion'.' Alexi, who lives in New York with his wife and two sons, was recounting the story behind his decision to create his 2016 photobook, Diversity, featuring photos of mixed ethnicities. He says: 'I did end up losing a bunch of magazine jobs, because nobody wanted to have that conversation. 'They didn't want to be made to feel guilty about the fact that they were just putting Caucasian girls on the cover.' Angela Rayner's message to PM at G7 after run-in with Larry the Cat While Sir Keir Starmer must grapple with the terrifying new war in the Middle East, the Prime Minister has not taken his eye off dangers closer to home. Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner debriefed the Labour leader after television footage was broadcast last week showing her chauffeur narrowly avoiding mowing down Larry the Cat, No 10's resident moggy, while driving Rayner from Downing Street. 'Angela had a close encounter,' Sir Keir admits in an interview with Peter Cardwell for the former special adviser's forthcoming book, Political Animals, about the secret lives of the dogs and cats of Westminster and Washington. 'I was at the G7 in Canada and Angela actually sent me the clip with a message saying, 'All under control here, boss!'' Lady Violet settles down to married life As one of society's most spirited partygoers, Lady Violet Manners was never likely to be a shy and retiring bride. And the Duke of Rutland's eldest daughter, 31, who exchanged vows with Bill Garnock, 34, a Scottish viscount, at the weekend, joined the band on stage at her wedding reception party. She could be found dancing wildly with her pal Rosanna Falconer on stage next to a set of bongo drums. The raucous bash was held in the cellar at Lady Violet's ancestral home, Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. She made a more demure appearance earlier on in the day in her Phillipa Lepley gown and the Rutland tiara. Andy Murray bans audience's phones What does Sir Andy Murray have to hide? The tennis star is giving a talk at Wimbledon Theatre this weekend with one surprising condition imposed on members of the audience – their mobile phones must be put under lock and key during the performance. 'Given the exclusive and intimate nature of this event, the show will be a phoneless experience and all mobiles will be placed in lockable Yondr pouches,' ticket holders are told. Promoters promise that the former World No 1 and double Olympic gold medal winner will 'recount intimate and untold moments' from his illustrious career in the 'unforgettable live experience', for which tickets cost between £45 and £78. Served up in his usual upbeat and fizzing style, no doubt. Cate Blanchett reveals bedroom secrets After nearly 30 years of marriage, pillow talk appears to have lost its appeal for Cate Blanchett's husband, Andrew Upton. The Oscar-winning actress, 56, admits that playwright Upton, 59, turns over in bed when she tries to engage in luvvie chat about how to approach a particular part. 'The night before I start [a new role], I always poke my husband awake at about 3.30 to 4am and say, 'What's my process? Can you remind me what my process is?'' Speaking at an event at the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Australian star of The Aviator and The Talented Mr Ripley explains: 'After 28 years, he says, 'You'll be fine!' 'He no longer converses with me about it.' Marianne Faithfull's swansong with her grandson Five months since her death aged 78, Marianne Faithfull's last musical collaboration – touchingly with grandson Oscar Dunbar – has been released. Looking back on writing and recording ballad Love Is with his grandmother, musician and actor Oscar, 31, says: 'As a family we're all still grieving. 'We miss her every day. But she wanted this music to come out, and I'm happy people get to hear it.' Brian Cox says Elgin Marbles would've been returned to Greece had they been kept in Scotland Succession star Brian Cox claims the Elgin Marbles would have been returned to Greece decades ago if they were exhibited in his native Scotland. 'If Lord Elgin decided he wanted to put those marbles in Edinburgh at the museums, they would have been back years ago,' the actor, 79, says. 'It is theft.'
