Following separate discussions with both nations' leaders, Trump said on Truth Social: 'They have agreed to immediately meet and quickly work out a Ceasefire and, ultimately, PEACE!'
The announcement came during Trump's visit to Scotland, amid growing international concern over rising tensions along the Cambodia-Thailand border.

'A lot of damage has been done today, more than at any time I can remember,' Grossman added. 'I'm not saying that the relationship is going to collapse or anything like that. It'll persist, but I feel like India will be far more circumspect in dealing with America from this point forward.' Vance at the time called a US-India relationship a 'win-win partnership' and sought stronger ties with New Delhi in energy and defense trade.
