Thinking of Watching Brad Pitt's 'F1' at Home? Think Again
Brad Pitt's latest film is a full-throttle, high-octane tribute to Formula 1 racing—and it's built to be seen on the biggest, loudest screen available. Shot with immersive race footage and anchored by Pitt's signature ease and intensity, the film is part sports spectacle, part character study, and all energy. Critics are already calling it 'velociously loud and exceedingly exciting,' with Rotten Tomatoes praising Pitt's 'effortless charisma' as the engine driving the story forward. And while there's no shortage of sports dramas on streaming platforms, F1 isn't trying to fit neatly into that lane. It's going for speed and scale. The film follows a former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes (played by Pitt) who returns to the circuit to mentor young rising star, Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris). It's classic redemption-arc stuff, but what makes it hit harder is the visceral, ground-level view of the racing world. Pitt reportedly trained on actual F1 tracks and filmed during real Grand Prix weekends, which gives the racing scenes a lived-in authenticity that's hard to fake. But what really sets F1 apart is how it looks and sounds in IMAX because it was "Filmed For IMAX." In fact, the whole movie is in the 1.90:1 aspect ratio. The roar of the engines. The tension of a corner taken just a little too fast. The vibration in your chest when tires peel off the track. It's the kind of sensory overload that streaming can't replicate—no matter how nice your soundbar is. It's not just a movie; it's a rush. Whether you're a diehard F1 fan or just here for peak Pitt, F1 rewards you for showing up to the theater. And in an era where most action gets watered down into safe, streaming-ready content, this one doesn't flinch. It floors it. Watch it big. Watch it loud. Watch it in IMAX. NBA Free-Agent Big Board: The market is starting to take shape
The NBA free-agency negotiating window opens at 6 p.m. ET Monday, and while this class is a little lackluster, there could still potentially be some impact players on the market. Here you'll find our list of the top 25 overall possible free agents, which bakes in contractual expectations — meaning value for the money — potential for younger players, risk of decline for older players, a premium on long-range shooters (hey, teams want them!) and injury history. To use an example, you'll find both Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon in the 20s, primarily due to their general lack of availability in recent years. Had they played more, they would have been higher on the list. Without further ado, let's get to it. Free-agent position rankings: Point guards | Shooting guards | Small Forwards | Power forwards | Centers

Micah Parsons Turning Heads With Major Act Of Leadership
Micah Parsons Turning Heads With Major Act Of Leadership originally appeared on Athlon Sports. FRISCO — The wait for the Dallas Cowboys to sign Micah Parsons to a much anticipated contract extension gets longer with each passing day. With the calendar ready to flip into July and training camp only weeks away, the sides are still yet to agree on terms for a new deal. Advertisement This has become the typical practice for the Cowboys evidenced in their dealings with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb on this same item a year ago. Despite this drawn out process, things seem amicable from both sides and Parsons has maintained a presence around the team. Parsons did not participate but made an appearance at mandatory minicamp a few weeks back. Now, he's keeping himself and his teammates active with some work outside the confines of The Star. The Cowboys' defensive star organized workouts on the beach with his peers on the defensive front. Those participating with Parsons included Osa Odighizuwa and Solomon Thomas among others. Very clearly, "The Lion's" leadership has resonated around the locker room. Parsons' off-the-field matters have not impacted his presence around the team. Instead, he continues to embrace the challenge of stepping into next season as the unquestioned leader of the defense. Advertisement Parsons has done nothing but produce in his first four seasons and his expected extension with the Cowboys should reflect that. But Year 5 and the remainder of his coming seasons with the franchise will call upon to embrace the transition from being a hungry up-and-comer to a savvy veteran leader. Some may find that difficult for the boisterous Parsons. Activities like this, however, provide tangible proof of his desire to become that figure for the Cowboys. The integration of this into his game will make him an invaluable piece for Dallas through the coming years. But of course, this all stands on the assumption the Cowboys secure the deal from their side and keep him in town long term. There's no reason to believe it won't happen though none can rest easy on this matter until the ink dries to paper.
