Kim Kardashian Thinks Sister Kourtney's Being a ‘Snob' for Ditching Fame, Claims ‘Source'

Tension is reportedly rising between and over their differences with the family's reality TV venture. While Kim stays committed to 'The Kardashians,' Kourtney continues to pull back from the show in order to focus more on her private life with her husband and kids. Meanwhile, Kim reportedly 'doesn't understand Kourt's mentality,' causing friction between the sisters. Kim Kardashian believes Kourtney is being 'hypocritical,' says 'source' Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are reportedly at odds over the latter's increasing distance from 'The Kardashians.' Star reported that the Poosh founder is prioritizing time with her husband, Travis Barker, and her children. The shift in priorities, however, has come at the cost of the sisters' family-run media empire. It has ultimately led to tensions between Kim and Kourtney. The eldest Kardashian sister has been a prominent figure in the family's reality show, beginning with the premiere of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' in 2007. But, a source explained, 'Kourtney's been distancing herself for a while now.' They added, 'She's way happier for it.' She thinks 'the whole fame game has gotten out of control, and she's not interested in being part of' it. Kourtney's unease with public attention is not unheard of. She has openly discussed her discomfort with elements of fame in past interviews, even temporarily leaving 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' in 2020. Meanwhile, Kim has remained highly participative in the family business. Ever since the Hulu series 'The Kardashians' aired in 2022, following the conclusion of the original show, Kim has never backed out from ongoing appearances on the show. An insider told Star, 'Kim doesn't understand Kourt's mentality and thinks she's being a snob.' Kourtney's active work on her lifestyle brands, Poosh and Lemme, further underscores the friction between the sisters. According to the source, 'Kim reminds her that her brands would never gotten off the ground if not for the family's name.' The source claimed, '[Kim] thinks Kourtney is being hypocritical,' adding, 'They get in constant fights over it.' Despite Kim and Kourtney's differences, the eldest Kardashian sibling is reportedly confident about withdrawing from the spotlight, and it is not sitting well with Kim, who wants to embrace the fame and business growth. ‘Sex and the City' Star Reveals Unexpected Date Setup With Matthew Perry

'Sex and the City' Star Reveals Unexpected Date Setup With Matthew Perry originally appeared on Parade. Kristin Davis spoke about her fond memory of the late actor Matthew Perry, where she revealed a charming story of their encounter in the 1990s. In the latest episode of iHeartRadio's podcast, Are You a Charlotte?, the actress took a trip down memory lane and recalled an unexpected brush with the beloved TV star. The 60-year-old actress mentioned the little-known moment when she found herself being set up on a date with Perry. Davis shared that during the peak of Melrose Place and Sex and the City, a mutual attorney friend arranged for her to go on a blind date. 'He's not my lawyer, but he's a nice lawyer, and I've been set up with Matthew Perry,' she told guest Brian Van Holt, adding, 'And this is like '98, '99, '97 maybe. I feel like it was between Melrose Place, which I did before [Sex and the] City, and it was at a house. It was a dinner party. It was so low-key.' Moreover, she described the dinner party as a star-studded one, filled with 'a bunch of Hollywood people.' 'I don't even know who was there other than this lawyer and Matthew,' the actress added. As for the date, Davis shared how delightful the '90s icon was to be around and even spoke about his genuine feelings while filming Friends with the cast and crew. 'Matthew's lovely,' she revealed, adding, 'He sits next to me. And he's talking about how thrilled he is, how happy they are on the set at Friends, and he was doing a film with Salma Hayek. I was like, 'Wow, he's so happy.'' The mother of two first rose to fame in 1995 when she portrayed Brooke Armstrong, the manipulative, ambitious, spoiled rich daughter in Melrose Place. However, she gained global recognition after landing the character of Charlotte York in Sex and the City, alongside Kim Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon, which aired from 1998 to 2004. As for Perry, he became a household name thanks to his character Chandler Bing, the sarcastic and quick-witted member of the 1994 sitcom Friends.'Sex and the City' Star Reveals Unexpected Date Setup With Matthew Perry first appeared on Parade on Aug 19, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 19, 2025, where it first appeared. How Former 'GMA 'Anchor Eva Pilgrim Is Leading 'Inside Edition 'into a New Chapter After 30 Years (Exclusive)

Pilgrim will succeed Deborah Norville as only the fourth-ever anchor of the newsmagazine on Aug. 18 NEED TO KNOW Eva Pilgrim is kicking off her tenure as the newest anchor of Inside Edition on Aug. 18 She succeeds Deborah Norville, who anchored the newsmagazine for the last 30 years Pilgrim comes to Inside Edition from GMA3: What You Need to Know Eva Pilgrim was made for this. Having grown up in a home where Inside Edition was always on TV, Pilgrim tells PEOPLE that she's admittedly still "slightly floored" that she gets to be the new anchor of the beloved newsmagazine. She'll be the program's fourth-ever host, succeeding Deborah Norville, who wrapped her tenure on the show in May. "I look back at my first job, and my mom was still sending me money to eat because she was worried I wasn't eating. I think about the countless people who've poured into me and helped me get better at this to then get to this point," says Pilgrim, who shares 3-year-old daughter Ella with her husband Ed Hartigan. "My mother, when I told her I was interviewing for this job, lost her mind. I watched Inside Edition growing up. It was on in our house, but also in my first TV job, it was a show that came on between newscasts," Pilgrim adds of the serendipity of her new gig. Still, the former GMA3: What You Need to Know anchor admits that she certainly feels "the weight" of stepping into a new role at an institution of a show like Inside Edition. "It's a legacy," she says, adding that doing the show after Norville is no small task, either. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "You feel overwhelmed," she says. "To be in this job now at a point where I really appreciate everything that it is? I can't believe the job [was] open! Deborah was really nice and sent me an email, and at the end of the email she was floored that she had been in the job for as long as she had. She said that was because it was just such a great job, so why would you leave? It's one of those jobs that people don't leave because it's great." Pilgrim was born into a military family in Seoul, South Korea. Her mother is Korean, and her father hails from South Carolina. She grew up as a self-proclaimed Army brat. "We moved all over the place, literally four times in first grade, I always tell everyone that," Pilgrim says with a laugh. "But what's nice about that is I feel like traveling a lot is good training for a journalist because you learn how to make friends, you feel uncomfortable when you meet people you've never met before, and you know that that's going to happen every time. It conditions you to just say the first thing and make the first move to have a conversation." The innate curiosity and interpersonal skills Pilgrim developed early would continue to serve her well — by the time she was in high school, the family had settled back in South Carolina. "We grew up eating kimchi and country-fried steak and collard greens. It was a weird collision of cultural differences that ended up all one thing," she says. "And I think the luxury of having a parent who's not from where you grow up — a different country — very different than South Carolina, you realize how small the world is because you're traveling back and forth between those two different families. Pilgrim decided to pursue journalism while in college after taking classes in the subject and working for a local TV station while she was still in school. "I liked the access that it gave me. Whether you were covering a sporting event or a community event, you got to be there in the middle of it. That I found to be kind of addictive," she says. After working on a story where her subject confessed to a crime mid-interview and was subsequently arrested thanks in part to her reporting, Pilgrim knew she'd found the line of work she was meant to be doing all along. "[That man] said all the things to me that day because I was in many ways naive, but I was curious and very human with him. I wasn't asking him probing or prying questions. I was letting him talk and giving him human responses," Pilgrim explains, "and our news director at the time, she said something to me that I've never forgotten and I try to hold on to no matter how many interviews that I do. 'Always lead with your humanity,' she said, 'that's why you are good at this.'" Tune in to Inside Edition on Aug. 18 for Eva's first broadcast ahead of the season 38 premiere on Sept. 8.
