A 25-year-old man died after falling down from the flyover under mysterious circumstances in Kodigehalli on Sunday night .
The deceased has been identified as Muniraju, a resident of Shivashankar Layout in Hebbal, who worked as an accountant at a private firm.
He left home to meet a friend and later fell down from over the 30-ft. high flyover, said the police.
Passers-by who noticed him lying in a pool of blood alerted the police. The Kodigehalli police rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to a private hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
The police recovered a scooter parked on the side of the flyover and initiated a probe to ascertain the cause of death.
The police are verifying the mobile phone recovered from Muniraju and the CCTv camera footages from in and around to ascertain the cause of death.

On May 20, Raj and the three men reached the railway station, but Raj himself never boarded the train. Instead, he gave the SIM card to Vishal and allegedly sent the trio to execute the plan. By May 23, Sonam and Raja had reached Shillong for their honeymoon. Under the pretext of a photo shoot, Sonam allegedly led Raja into the forested Korsha Hills. There, the hired men allegedly ambushed him. Vishal is said to have made the first strike. The group then allegedly dumped Raja's body into a ravine and walked away as if nothing had happened. 3. What clues led the police to Sonam and her co-conspirators? It was the small details that cracked the case: The 'fasting' lie: Sonam allegedly told her mother-in-law that she was fasting on May 23, but the guesthouse owner saw her enjoying a full meal alone. The shocking incident took place at Shagun Palace where the thief infiltrated the function and mingled with other guests. According to an official, they seized valuables worth Rs 1.45 crore from the accused. The incident occurred on August 8, 2024, after which the Rajgarh police formed seven teams based on inputs provided to them and caught the gang members. During the analysis of the CCTV footage, a minor and his companions were seen fleeing after taking the bag, prompting the Jaipur police to issue an alert to neighbouring states, Additional Director General of Police Jaideep Prasad said.
