
Ocean Ecostructures joins KAUST ScaleX to bring its marine renaturalization technology to Saudi Arabia
Selected from a highly competitive pool of over 550 advanced tech startups worldwide, Ocean Ecostructures earned a place in the prestigious KAUST ScaleX program for its cutting-edge pioneer pioneer technology and strong alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI). The solution directly supports the Kingdom's coastal regeneration efforts and reinforces KAUST's role as a catalyst for science-driven environmental transformation. The ScaleX program, delivered in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment (MISA), Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), and Open Startup International, will serve as a launchpad for the company's regional expansion, bridging global innovation with local impact.
With over 30 customers globally—including major players in the port, oil, construction, and energy sectors—Ocean Ecostructures has already demonstrated strong market traction. The company recently raised €3.5 million from international investors to accelerate its international growth and deployment. Recognized with multiple international awards, Ocean Ecostructures is not only a technological innovator but also a key environmental partner, offering a solution to turn all marine infrastructures into ocean allies and regenerate life where it was once scarce. Recently, the company was awarded the 'Ocean Winds Innovation Challenge' prize, promoted by Ocean Winds. Saudi: solutions' profits up to $215.2mln in H1-25; revenues rise 2.5%
Riyadh – Arabian Internet and Communications Services Company (solutions) registered SAR 807 million in net profit during the first half (H1) of 2025, up 0.12% from SAR 806 million in H1-24. Revenues stood at SAR 5.72 billion in H1-25, higher by 2.59% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 5.58 billion, according to the financial statements. Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to SAR 6.78 as of 30 June 2025, unchanged from H1-24. Financials for Q2-25 In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, solutions logged net profits valued at SAR 446 million, an annual drop of 1.54% from SAR 453 million. The revenues climbed by 4.72% YoY to SAR 2.90 billion in Q2-25 from SAR 2.77 billion. Quarterly, the Q2-25 net profits soared by 23.54% from SAR 361 million in Q1-25, while revenues grew by 2.76% from SAR 2.84 billion. SABIC Agri-Nutrients generates 32% higher profits in H1-25; revenues exceed $1.68bln
Riyadh – SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company achieved net profits at SAR 2.04 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025, an annual leap of 32.21% from SAR 1.54 billion. Revenues hit SAR 6.36 billion in H1-25, up 22.46% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 5.19 billion, according to the interim consolidated financial statements. Earnings per share (EPS) jumped to SAR 4.29 at the end of June 2025 from SAR 3.25 in H1-24. Results for Q2-25 In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the net profits witnessed a 50.35%% YoY hike to SAR 1.06 billion, compared to SAR 705 million. The revenues climbed by 22.83% to SAR 3.28 billion in the three-month period that ended on 30 June 2025 from SAR 2.67 billion a year earlier. Quarterly, the Q2-25 net profits jumped by 7.61% from SAR 985 million in Q1-25, while revenues grew by 6.92% from SAR 3.07 billion.
