Tahiti unstoppable at Palau Mini Games as competition nears end

Tahiti has surged ahead at the multi-sport regional competition, with a medal haul of 53 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze on the medal standings.
Samoa is sits in second with 27 gold, 13 silver and 19 bronze medals, while Fiji is in third place with 18 gold, 24 silver and 19 bronze.
Australia, also with 18 gold, eight silver and 10 bronze medals, and Papua New Guinea, with 11 gold, 17 silver and 16 bronze medals round up the top five so far in the competition.
