Hrithik Roshan And Jr NTR's War 2 To Feature Two Explosive Post-Credit Reveals: Report

News1812-08-2025
War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will reportedly feature two explosive post-credit scenes, revealing twists that set up the next chapter of YRF's Spy Universe.
War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR is all set to hit theatres on August 14, and fans are quite eager about the grand release of the action thriller. As the movie is about to release in theatres, a big update has come in that the Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer will have two end credits that will help take forward YRF's Spy Universe further.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, a source close to the development revealed, 'The YRF Spy Universe is getting bigger and bigger with each film. War 2's end-credit roll will reveal two huge plot points that will shape the next chapters of the Spyverse. YRF is doing its best to keep these a secret from audiences and fans, but those in the know are telling us that these moments will blow people's minds!"
'Not just War 2, but even its end credits are a must-watch! The YRF Spy Universe is known as the Marvel of India, and it is being conjectured that these two Easter eggs will show us all what Aditya Chopra has in mind for the next slate of films. Rumours are rife about whether new characters will be introduced, whether other Spyverse icons will return in the end credits of War 2, or whether a new film will be announced. YRF will make us wait for two more days before we know more," the source further added.
More about War 2
At a pre-release event in Hyderabad on August 10, Ayan Mukerji spoke about the Telugu superstar Jr NTR's role and teased a surprise that's still under wraps. Responding to the buzz that Jr NTR only appears at the halfway mark, Ayan laughed it off and said, 'We are smart enough not to make a movie where he comes in only at the interval point. That much sense we have. But I can assure you that Jr NTR's entry sequence is one of the major highlights of the film, and you have to watch War 2 and discover that on your own."
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is a sequel to the 2019 hit War, which featured Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor.
War 2 marks the sixth instalment in YRF's Spy Universe, with Hrithik Roshan returning as Kabir, Jr NTR as the antagonist, and Kiara Advani as the female lead. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it follows the 2019 hit War.
The film lands in cinemas on August 14, facing off against Coolie, an action thriller featuring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Upendra, with a special appearance by Aamir Khan.
The story of War 2 brings a powerful showdown between Hrithik Roshan's Major Kabir Dhaliwal and Jr NTR's Vikram. Both play Indian spies, but they see patriotism in completely different ways. This difference sets the stage for a battle that's not just about action, but also about beliefs. Kiara Advani plays Kavya Luthra, a key character who will have an important part in how the story unfolds.

Dragon: Jr NTR's House Set Built For Whopping Rs 15 Crore? Here's What We Know

Last Updated: Jr NTR's Dragon is set to feature a lavish Rs 15 crore house set at Ramoji Film City. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film begins its next action-packed schedule in September. Jr NTR briefly shot for Dragon last month before stepping away to promote War 2, where he shared screen space with Hrithik Roshan. With promotions now complete, the actor is set to dedicate his full attention to the Prashanth Neel directorial. The film's first schedule was shot in the coastal town of Kumta, Uttara Kannada, offering a scenic backdrop along the Konkan coast. Expansive factory sets were created for the ten-day schedule. However, unpredictable weather forced the production to move away from outdoor shoots in the region. Rs 15 Crore Spent On Jr NTR's House Set To ensure seamless progress, the team shifted to Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where multiple elaborate sets are being built. Among them, the most striking is Jr NTR's on-screen residence. According to a report in Filmfare, the house set alone is valued at a staggering Rs 15 crore. Designed with precision, it will feature curated artefacts, custom wall hangings, and detailed colour schemes, making it a key visual element of the narrative. This extravagant investment reflects the film's larger-than-life approach and Neel's commitment to world-building. Next Major Schedule Begins September Currently on a short festive break, Jr NTR will rejoin the sets after Vinayaka Chaturthi. The next schedule, starting in early September, will run for a month in Hyderabad and will largely revolve around high-octane action sequences. With Prashanth Neel at the helm and Jr NTR's star power, Dragon is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious films in recent times.
