
Solid kickoff to season as Nurul captures triple jump gold in style
PETALING JAYA: National triple jumper Nurul Ashikin Abas got her season off to a good start when she soared to a gold in the Hong Kong Championships.
The 24-year-old Nurul, who took the top spot with a leap of 12.97m at the Wan Chai Sports Ground yesterday, said she was on the right track for the Asian Track and Field Championships in Gumi, South Korea, from May 27-31.
