Over 100 people injured in Liverpool car ramming incident
Liverpool, June 3 (UNI) The number of people injured after a car crashed into a crowd of fans in Liverpool has risen to 109, Merseyside Police said.
"The number of people reported to have been injured currently stands at 109. Four people remain in hospital being treated for their injuries," the police department said in a statement on Monday.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the police are collecting eyewitness statements, the statement added.
In late May, a car hit a crowd of people celebrating Liverpool's victory in the English Premier League. The driver of the car was a 53-year-old British man, who was later detained. Police said that they did not consider the attack an act of terrorism and were treating it as an isolated incident.

The Associated Press has not been able to independently confirm the award of the knighthood, which was first reported in The Sun tabloid newspaper. In video footage published by The Sun from the Chelsea Flower Show earlier this month, the king is seen asking Beckham if he 'received his 50th birthday present.' Libyan PM orders investigation into clashes in coastal city
Tripoli, June 7 (UNI) Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamed Dbeibah on Friday ordered an investigation into clashes that broke out Thursday in the northwestern coastal city of Sabratha. The Information Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement that Dbeibah had instructed the commander of the Western Military Zone "to start an immediate and thorough investigation" into the clashes. "The instructions are part of orders made yesterday to assign the Western Military Zone commander to urgently interfere on ground and stop the fighting," the statement added. According to local media, clashes broke out on Thursday between rival armed groups in Sabratha, some 70 km west of the capital Tripoli, and lasted until Friday morning.
