3 Leading Tech Stocks to Buy in 2025

The technology sector has helped lead the market higher over the past decade, and with new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous driving continuing to emerge, there is every reason to believe it can do the same over the next decade. Let's look at three leading tech companies to buy this year. 1. Nvidia Graphics processing units (GPUs) maker Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has established itself as the leading semiconductor company in the world. The strength of GPUs lies in their parallel processing capabilities, which allow them to perform many calculations at the same time. This capability makes these powerful chips ideal for running AI workloads in the data center. The real secret to Nvidia's successes, though, is its CUDA software program. Created to expand the market for GPUs beyond their original intent of speeding up graphics rendering in video games, Nvidia aggressively pushed the software platform into universities and research labs in its early days, which helped make it the platform upon which developers learned to program GPUs for various tasks. In the years since, the company has built a collection of tools and libraries that help improve the performance of its GPU for use in running AI workloads. This has helped give the company a dominant market share in the GPU space of more than 80%. As the AI infrastructure market continues to grow, Nvidia continues to be the biggest beneficiary. However, that's not its only growth market, and the company also sees a big future opportunity in the automobile and autonomous driving sector. After all, autonomous vehicles need to perform quick calculations, which is the strength of GPUs, so they don't crash. Since Nvidia doesn't have a recurring revenue stream, any slowdown in its end markets is a risk, but right now these markets still appear to be in the early days of their growth cycles. 2. Alphabet Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL)(NASDAQ: GOOG) is certainly not without its risks, as some investors fret over AI disrupting its search business, while at the same time, it faces legal remedies from the U.S. government after losing an antitrust trial. However, the company has a collection of very attractive businesses and investors have largely ignored the advantages in search the company has. Alphabet is about much more than Google search. Its YouTube business is not only the most-watched streaming platform, but it is also one of the largest digital advertising platforms in the world. Meanwhile, its cloud computing unit, Google Cloud, is Alphabet's fastest-growing business, as it helps customers build out and run AI models and apps on its platform. Also not to be overlooked is its robotaxi business, Waymo, which has a first-mover advantage in the U.S. and is expanding rapidly. That said, Google is still Alphabet's bread and butter, but it's not time to write this dominant search engine off just yet. Google has a large distribution and ad network advantage that should not be overlooked. Its distribution advantage comes from its popular Android smartphone operating system and Chrome browser, which use its Google search engine as a default. Meanwhile, it has a revenue-sharing agreement with Apple and browser companies like Opera to run their search queries, as well. In addition, it has spent decades building one of the largest ad markets on the planet, with an ability to serve not only national advertisers, but also local businesses. Alphabet also knows how to monetize search better than any company, and as the world moves toward AI search and chatbots, it's focused on profiting from queries that have commercial intent. That's why when it recently launched its new AI search mode, it included several commerce-focused features aimed at enhancing monetization, such as "Shop by AI," which allows users to find products simply by describing them, virtually try on clothes using a photo, and even track prices. With unmatched distribution, a massive ad network, and a focus on commerce monetization, Alphabet is well situated to be an AI search winner. 3. Salesforce Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) has long been the leader in customer relationship management software, and now it's setting its sights on becoming a leader in AI agents through its new Agentforce platform. The company's core value proposition has always been about unifying customer data, and it has expanded this concept into the data center with its Data Cloud offering. Through acquisitions, it's also established a leadership position in employee and customer-facing apps, such as Slack and Tableau. This type of ecosystem is an ideal environment for AI agents to interact with this data and use it to automatically perform tasks. Agentforce includes pre-built AI agents that can help businesses streamline tasks, as well as low-code and no-code tools that let customers design their own custom AI agents with little technical expertise. It has also established an Agentforce marketplace with more than 200 partners to offer more templates and broaden use cases. Thus far, Agentforce has seen solid momentum, with it already having more than 4,000 paying customers since its October launch and many more in pilots. Salesforce is looking to lead a digital labor revolution. It plans to accomplish this through its ADAM framework that combines agents, data, apps, and metadata into one platform. It recently introduced a new consumption-based model that better aligns agent costs with business outcomes to help improve customer satisfaction and increase adoption. Agentic AI is a competitive space, but Salesforce looks like it has the platform to be a winner. Should you invest $1,000 in Nvidia right now? Peter Schiff Says ‘This Train Has Left the Station' as Silver Surges to 13-Year Highs: ‘There's No Stopping It'

Silver stocks rallied hard on Thursday as the precious metal extended gains to hit levels last seen in late 2012. While silver (SIN25) hasn't been able to keep up with its larger peer – gold (GCM25) – its price, nonetheless, is up more than 100% versus the low in June 2022, basis July futures, at the time of writing. Still, veteran investor Peter Schiff believes the precious metal and, therefore, silver mining stocks, could push gain in the second half of this year. Why Have Silver Prices Been on a Tear in 2025? Silver prices have been ripping to the upside in 2025 partially because the precious metal is a key component of solar panels, electric vehicles, and semiconductors – industries that have been growing rather aggressively in recent months. Additionally, heightened geopolitical tensions and lingering economic uncertainty, most of which is attributed to the U.S.-led tariff war, have driven investors toward safe-haven assets, with silver offering a more affordable alternative to gold. Finally, silver has recently had a breakout above key technical levels that has triggered momentum-based buying from hedge funds and retail investors alike. Schiff Says Silver Is Still Very Cheap Referring to silver in his recent X post, Peter Schiff said 'this train has left the station and there's no stopping it!' Schiff's remarks reflect his belief that the momentum in silver prices and, by extension, in silver mining stocks, is both powerful and sustainable – at least in the near term. He continues to see silver as 'very cheap' at current levels and forecasts a continued rally in the precious metal, which could help the likes of Endeavour Silver (EXK) print new, multi-year highs in the second half of 2025. Investors should note that Schiff has previously posted on social media about Endeavor saying, 'Buy the miners!' Should You Buy Endeavour Silver Stock? What's also worth mentioning is that Wall Street remains bullish as ever on Endeavour Silver stock as well. Despite a massive run in recent months, the consensus rating on EXK shares sits at ' Strong Buy ' with the mean target of $5.71 indicating potential upside of over 25% from current levels.

Premarket: World shares climb, dollar eases ahead of U.S.-China talks

An Asia stocks rally lifted world indexes to record highs on Monday, and the U.S. dollar pared recent gains ahead of talks in London aimed at mending a trade rift between the United States and China. MSCI's broadest index of world shares climbed 0.2 per cent to a record high of 893.88, as European indexes steadied and Asian markets closed higher. The Japanese Nikkei closed almost 1 per cent higher, China's blue-chip CSI300 Index climbed roughly 0.3 per cent, while the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.4 per cent. Top trade representatives from Washington and Beijing are due to meet for talks expected to focus on critical minerals, whose production is dominated by China. 'Trade policy will remain the big macro uncertainty,' said Kyle Rodda, a senior financial market analyst at 'Signs of further momentum in talks could give the markets fresh boost to kick-off the week.' U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will represent Washington in talks with China, U.S. President Donald Trump said in a social media post. China's foreign ministry said Vice Premier He Lifeng will be in Britain for the first meeting of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism. Wall Street stocks had closed sharply higher on Friday after the closely watched monthly U.S. jobs data eased concerns about damage to the world's biggest economy from Mr. Trump's unpredictable tariff regime. Sentiment was also weighed down by a standoff in Los Angeles that led to Mr. Trump calling in the California National Guard to quell demonstrations over his immigration policies. The dollar fell 0.5 per cent against the yen to 144.09, trimming its 0.9-per-cent jump on Friday. The European single currency rose 0.2 per cent to $1.1422. Sterling traded at $1.3568 , up almost 0.4 per cen=t. U.S. job growth slowed in May by less than had been forecast, data showed on Friday. But dour economic readings from China added to evidence the trade war is taking a toll. China's export growth slowed to a three-month low in May, while factory-gate deflation deepened to its worst level in two years, separate reports showed on Monday. Attention now turns to U.S. inflation data on Wednesday that may adjust expectations for the timing of any rate cuts by the Federal Reserve. The Fed is in a blackout period ahead of its June 18 policy decision. 'Markets have entered a tactical pause following a strong May, but beneath the surface, fragilities are building,' said Bruno Schneller, managing director at Erlen Capital Management, noting that the U.S. CPI release is expected to show another rise, signaling that inflation remains sticky. 'While this may offer some near-term support for the U.S. dollar, broader macro dynamics – notably fiscal expansion, rising structural deficits, and political unpredictability – are increasingly clouding the outlook for both rates and currencies,' he said. Gold rose around 0.35 per cent to US$3,322 per ounce after a 1.3-per-cent fall on Friday. U.S. crude fell 16 cents to US$64.42 a barrel following a 1.9-per-cent surge late last week. Reuters
