The drama started yesterday when SZA posted a tweet that Nicki appeared to interpret as shade. At the time, she had been tweeting about Terrence "Punch" Henderson, the president of SZA's label, TDE, whom she claimed "bullied" her after she "rejected his business proposition."
Related:
"Mercury retrograde ... don't take the bait lol silly goose," SZA tweeted. Quote-tweeting the post, Nicki wrote, "Go draw your freckles back on bookie." She also criticized SZA's singing abilities, writing that she sounds like a "fkng dead dog."

"Bitch looking & sounding like she got stung by a fucking bee," Nicki wrote, "😩 dot dot dot *Draws on my fake freckles*"

SZA said, "I don't give a fuck bout none of that weird shit you popping." She also denied speaking negatively about Nicki after a fan accused her of inserting herself in the drama with Punch, saying,"I wasn't even talking about or to anyone I had just got off stage talking bout retrograde . [N-words] @'d ME ."

For reference, SZA is currently on the Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar.
SZA then tried to move on from the drama, writing, "LMAO lemme go back to being calm shy and meek . Yall have blessed night ! See you tomorrow for night 2 Paris !! ❤️🫶" But Nicki continued to tweet her, telling her, "Shutup ugly." She also proceeded to body-shame her and take aim at her music career.
Related:
"Wait. Does Sza think she's more successful than me?" Nicki wrote after SZA reacted to an unrelated post about SOS nearing diamond certification. "Lol yall catch me up pls."
"Sza if every song you've ever done vanished right now the music business wouldn't even miss you," she continued. "I've been to countries that never heard of you. I know you're not THAT stupid are you? Stadiums? Did you look at the venues I played on my OWN headlined FESTIVAL tour out of the country last year? Bitch have you ever headlined to 80K ppl? Btch what have you ever done besides yodel with auto tune that needed retuning?"
"Boo im an icon. You're not. The end," Nicki stated, despite SZA's glowing track record, which includes multiple Grammys, two mega successful albums, and two No. 1-charting hits, "Kill Bill" and "Luther." Her CTRL album spent 422 weeks on the Billboard 200, while SOS spent 135 weeks on the chart and broke a record previously held by Michael Jackson's Thriller.
But Nicki didn't stop there. She also questioned, "Why didn't u speak up when your exec was bullying & harassing me ya dirty mangy cunt? These botted numbers on all platforms have yall losing yall mother fkng minds. You the type that would've been quiet in school trying to fit in. You still have no clue who you are! I know you went nights w/o washing that musty face. Btch how u remember exactly where every freckle go?"
At that point, she was basically talking to herself, because SZA didn't publicly respond to any of those tweets. But as you can see, fans had a lot to say about the drama:

Punch responded, too.
@LorenLorosa / The Breakfast Club / Via Twitter: @LorenLorosa
When The Breakfast Club host Loren Lorosa asked him about the origins of the drama, Punch claimed everything began in 2020 when Nicki allegedly contacted him for a SZA feature. Loren said, "He responded and told Nicki Minaj that SZA was in album mode heavy and that he would get it over to her, and that was it. They never spoke again. [The] feature didn't happen, but he says he's lost after that as well." So far, Nicki hasn't publicly responded to his claims, but we've reached out for comment.

‘I managed to get tickets for the big show in Manchester this weekend'

This is the moment we've all dreamed of. If you were in Manchester this weekend you surely felt the anticipation. Bars and restaurants are packed, the Metrolink was rammed, everyone is wearing the merch, young and old all scrambling to get their hands on a ticket. And that's because a very special group have reunited to put on a legendary set of shows that will be talked about for generations. Finally, they've placed their differences aside and are putting on a united front to showcase what they do best and give the people who have adored them for years what they want. There's been no media in the build up. No public 'falling out' to generate hype. This is a show where the group's raw talent simply speaks for itself. I am, of course, talking about Paw Patrol Live: The Great Pirate Adventure, at Manchester's AO Arena. There is a local Burnage act also performing this weekend - but staff around Victoria Station manage to juggle their fans en route to Bury alongside a minor army of parents and kids queueing for the AO Arena brilliantly. It's all very well organised and the atmosphere is quite celebratory and joyous from both parties. The show brings together the key cast of the beloved programme, led by Ryder, to go on a heroic mission to find hidden pirate treasure. And within moments of them marching onto the stage, there is cheering, screaming, furious mopping by staff over spilt drinks from an accident that happened the second the lights went down, and smatterings of tears too from slightly overwhelmed kids. It's a lot. As someone said to us before the show: "this is Oasis for kids". Once the mayhem all settles down though it's a really fun show: panto-on-speed, some very catchy songs and lots of very happy children in the crowd. The biggest cheers are reserved for when the pups come out on their vehicles - we love a vehicle - and the live production manages to have a flavour of the high-octane action scenes that characterise the Nickelodeon TV show which are obviously not easy to reproduce on stage. Many parents upon reaching the interval decide they're going to need a beer to get through this - even if it is almost £10 for a pint - but our three-year-old is utterly mesmerised throughout, so entranced that even his beloved Fruit Shoot doesn't interest him. At times some of the audience-participation segments don't really quite work for an arena the size of the AO, however the cast are really giving it 110%. It's a sugar-rush of an afternoon, lasting just over an hour-and-a-half plus a 20-minute break in the middle, and a great treat for kids over the summer. PAW Patrol Live! is on a roll – and coming to cities all across the UK this summer. Tickets are available now from

If you look closely, even the first one—'I Need My Girl' (2014), which we recorded before we met—could easily pass for one of her songs," Berninger told the publication. "Because—thanks to my daughter—Taylor has always been playing in my house." Additionally, he shared that he's "admired her lyrics and melodies" for years. "I've learned a lot from her," Berninger said of Swift. "Many people have grown up with her music," he said before making a daring comparison. "She's John Lennon to many people, not just teenagers," he declared. "Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the best artists today, as well as a lovely person.' In recent years, Berninger isn't the only one who has weighed in on Swift's impact on music. First lady Melania Trump recently shared her surprising opinion about Swift.
