House total loss in Gwinnett County fire
Gwinnett County Fire said a house is a total loss after it caught fire on Friday.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene at the corner of Ivy Green and Evergreen Oak north of Dacula.
No one was home at the time of the blaze, county fire officials said.
Investigators have not said what caused the fire.

‘The Wire' actor's son released from ICU after being thrown 300 feet during tornado
A young man who was severely injured when a tornado hit and destroyed his Henry County home has been released from the ICU. Malachi Chaney, who celebrated his 19th birthday over the weekend, remains hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital, but his family says he is slowly recovering. The family's home was destroyed, and Tray Chaney said his son was thrown 300 feet. Tray Chaney told Channel 2 Action News that he was able to explain to his son for the first time on Wednesday what happened. 'I explained to him, as his father, that he's my hero,' Tray Chaney said. 'We went to war with a tornado and survived.' New college football series coming to Mercedes-Benz Stadium
A new college football series is on its way to Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium. AMB Sports and Entertainment announced the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic on Wednesday morning. Advertisement 'Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz Stadium have long been recognized as a premier destination for college football, and the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic is the latest opportunity for us to continue to build on our legacy of hosting world-class events,' said Vice President of Stadium Events and Premium Sales for AMB Sports and Entertainment, Doug Roberts. TRENDING STORIES: The inaugural classic will be played later this year between Georgia and Georgia Tech. The game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29.
