Report: Denzel Perryman won't be prosecuted for weapon possession arrest
TMZ reports that Perryman will not be prosecuted for the possession of assault weapons. Perryman was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday after police found two AR-15s in his trunk. Perryman was on his way to a gun range and it's not clear why he was stopped, but those guns are illegal in California.
Prior to the news about Perryman's case, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh discussed the situation at his press conference.
'He's working through the legalities along with his representation,' Harbaugh said. 'Had a chance to see him yesterday, he's in good spirits. . . . We're just letting the due process play out.'
Perryman started all 11 games he played for the Chargers last season and Monday's news suggests he'll be available to reclaim his starting job this year.

Don't let Diddy escape serving hard time in prison
No way should the court grant Sean 'Diddy' Combs' request to do his hard time in home confinement on his private Miami island. Yes, he avoided guilty verdicts on the most serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, which could've landed him a lifetime behind bars, but his convictions are still serious. They include two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — meaning he hired male escorts, flew them across the country, then forced his girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and another unnamed woman to have sex with them. And yes, that's the Cassie that a hotel security tape shows Diddy brutally attacking then dragging across the floor. House arrest at Combs' palatial compound — worth a staggering $48.5 million — isn't a punishment at all, it's a vacation. The 14,800-square-foot mansion on Star Island, one of the priciest zip codes in America, features multiple pools, a spa and even cabana-style pool houses; it's not Rikers but Ritz Carlton. Plus, it's the scene of many of his drug-fueled 'freak-offs': The feds' raid of the home last March found AR-15s, a cornucopia of drugs, boxes full of stripper heels, baskets full of lube and an array of sex toys. Saying 'it's impossible' for Combs 'to show he poses no danger to any person,' Judge Arun Subramian has already denied his request for a $50 million bond to await sentencing at his Miami estate, leaving him in a Brooklyn detention center where he belongs. Sounds like Diddy is headed not to 'jail at home' but to something a lot closer to the 51-to 63 months in prison that federal prosecutors want, which is at least a start on real justice.

New footage shows ex-NFL star Terrell Suggs brandishing gun in Starbucks altercation before arrest
A new video shows ex-NFL star Terrell Suggs brandishing a gun before he was arrested in April 2024 following an incident at a Starbucks in Arizona the month prior. The video, published Friday by TMZ, shows the full altercation between Suggs and a man at the Starbucks drive-through, ending with Suggs dangling a gun out of his car's window before driving away. The incident began when the man alleged that Suggs backed his car up and hit his vehicle in an effort to get closer to the Starbucks intercom. 'You just backed into me, man,' the man said, with Suggs responding: 'Back the f–k up.' After some more back-and-forth, the man got out of his car and walked over to Suggs' vehicle, with the former Ravens star stepping outside to confront him. Suggs went on to insist that he did not hit the man's car before the two men got back into their respective vehicles. Suggs then picked up his order from the drive-through window and flipped the bird at the man through his car window as he started driving away. 4 Footage of Terrell Suggs' Starbucks dispute form 2024 has emerged. TMZ After some more jawing between the two men from their respective cars, Suggs asked, 'Do you want to go?' multiple times before adding, 'I'll kill your b–ch ass.' Then, as he began driving out of the drive-through line, Suggs held the gun out of his window, staring back at the man. 4 The incident unfolded at the drive-through. TMZ After an investigation, Maricopa County Police arrested Suggs and the 42-year-old was charged with one count of threatening or intimidating and one count of disorderly conduct. Suggs pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge in February and was sentenced to 18 months of supervised probation. A rep for Suggs issued a statement to TMZ in the wake of the footage being released. 4 Video obtained by TMZ shows the former NFL star appearing to brandish a weapon. TMZ 'There was an incident at a Starbucks drive-through in which Terrell attempted to safely back out of the lane when the individual behind him became hostile and falsely accused Terrell of making contact with his vehicle, which did not occur,' Denise White told TMZ. 'The situation escalated when the individual exited his car and approached Terrell in a confrontational manner. Notably, the individual had not placed an order in the Starbucks line, which led Terrell to believe he might continue to follow him, causing Terrell to feel threatened.' 4 Terrell Suggs played 17 seasons in the league. Getty Images White added that 'at no point' did her client 'point a firearm at the individual, but that Suggs 'made it clear that he was prepared to protect himself if necessary. Arizona is an open carry state, and Terrell is aware of the responsibilities that come with firearm ownership. He recognizes that he should not have displayed his weapon, but his actions were solely in response to feeling threatened and were not intended to escalate the situation further.' Suggs, who was an outside linebacker, is widely considered one of the best Ravens of all time. He spent 16 of his 17 NFL seasons in Baltimore, earning seven Pro-Bowl selections and one All-Pro nod. The Arizona State product also won the Super Bowl with Baltimore in 2012 and captured a second ring with the Chiefs in 2019.

Surveillance video provided new insight into an incident between sprinters Christian Coleman and Sha'Carri Richardson that resulted in police arresting Richardson late last month. Coleman attempted to walk away, but Richardson continued to try and engage with him before she shoved him into the wall. After he attempted to walk away for a second time, she forcefully shoved him for a second time behind a pillar, according to the video. 5 Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman walking (on the left) in the Seattle-Tacoma Airport moments before Richardson was arrested. TMZ Sports 'For me personally, I feel like it was a sucky situation all round,' Coleman said. 'I don't feel like she should have been arrested. I mean people have discussions and emotions and stuff like that. She has things that she needs to work on for herself, of course. So do I, so do you, so does everybody. 'But I'm the type of guy who's in the business of extending grace, and mercy and love. I hate the narrative too… its so negative. In the state of Seattle, even talking to the cop to whatever, he was like, 'There is really nothing I can do.''
