May 1---- One driver was injured in a three-car collision south of Litchfield on Wednesday evening.
According to a
from the
Nancy Putzier, 73, of Litchfield, was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield with non-life-threatening injuries.
Putzier was traveling southbound on Minnesota Highway 22 in a 2004 Toyota Camry. Also southbound was a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, driven by 19-year-old Ethan Lee.
A Chrysler Town and Country van was traveling the opposite direction, northbound on Highway 22, when all three vehicles collided at the intersection with 230th Street, according to the report.
Putzier was not wearing a seat belt. Lee, also of Litchfield, was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured, according to the State Patrol. The airbags in his vehicle deployed.
The driver of the northbound van is identified as Dennis Lee Ernest Kuhnau, 47, of Litchfield.
Kuhnau had three juvenile passengers — a 10-year-old female and two males, ages 7 and 9, none of whom were named in the report. All four were uninjured in the collision. The 7-year-old was the only occupant in Kuhnau's vehicle not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
The crash was reported around 4:55 p.m. Wednesday. Road conditions were reported as dry, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.

NEW ALBANY – A Union County man was killed in a two-car crash east of New Albany Wednesday morning. The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on Highway 30 in the Keownville community in Union County on June 4 around 5:30 a.m. The preliminary investigation determined that Joshua N. Smith, 33, of New Albany, traveled west on Highway 30 in a 2014 Chevrolet Impala when it collided with the eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Nathaniel E. Neal, 20, of Tupeloi. Smith received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene. This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A 6-year-old and a 12-year-old are dead following a crash that happened in Terrebonne Parish on Thursday afternoon, June 5. According to the Louisiana State Police, troopers with Troop C began investigating the crash, which happened on Louisiana Highway 311 near Fellowship Lane, around 4 p.m. Hammond man accused of arson, attempted murder Troopers say a 1999 Toyota Camry, driven by Cherri Breaux, was heading south on the highway when at the same time, a 2023 Kenworth was heading north. For reasons that are being investigated, the Toyota tried to turn left into a driveway, entering the path of the Kenworth and being hit on the right side. The driver of the Kenworth was properly restrained and wasn't injured. All four of the Toyota's occupants were unrestrained and taken to multiple hospitals. Breaux received minor injuries and a juvenile passenger was moderately injured. The 12-year-old and 6-year-old passengers were severely injured and died at the hospital. A standard toxicology sample was taken from Breaux for analysis as part of the ongoing invesstigation. Jun. 5—A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon involving a semi on Interstate-90 sent one to the hospital and congested traffic for a time. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place early Thursday afternoon at around 12:47 p.m. and included one of the vehicles. A 2023 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Michael William Kiesler, 62 of Waseca, was left on its side and the 2025 Kenworth semi driven by James Arthur Ward, 59, of Roland, Iowa settled part way in the ditch off of the westbound lane of I-90. Both vehicles were traveling westbound on I-90 at the time of the crash, which happened just east of Fourth Street NW. Kiesler was transported to St. Mary's Hospital Rochester with non-life threatening injuries while Ward was uninjured. The Austin Police Department, Austin Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance responded.
