Jelly Roll Teaches Logan Paul a Lesson Ahead of His In-Ring Debut at SummerSlam
Roll got the opportunity to host the Wednesday episode along with Orton, after which the duo recapped Saturday Night's Main Event, where the 14-time world champion was able to take out McIntyre with Roll in his corner.
This is when McIntyre interrupted them and tackled Orton through the show's swinging doors.
The Grammy-winning artist attempted to de-escalate the situation by calling for a commercial, but was interrupted by Paul. The former United States Champion quickly got into Roll's face and slapped him as hard as he could. After holding his face for a while, Roll bounced back with a thunderous chokeslam through the talk show desk.

This isn't the first time that Roll has had a physical altercation with a WWE star. In fact, the country music star appeared at SummerSlam last year and hit Austin Theory with a chokeslam in the middle of the ring. Moreover, the men involved in this year's SummerSlam have had a simmering rivalry for a long time. And for that, Roll has been paying his dues by training for his in-ring debut in New Jersey later this year.
Jelly Roll Has Been Training at the Performance Center for His Maiden WWE Outing
WWE has always been identified as a brand that merges professional wrestling and entertainment.
Celebrities like Stephen Amell, Johnny Knoxville, Bad Bunny, and Mr. T have appeared alongside wrestling stars and have made a name for themselves inside the ring. The latest addition to that list is Jelly Roll, who will make his in-ring debut at the first-ever 2-night SummerSlam PLE in August later this year.
And it is safe to say that Roll has been putting in the effort to make sure that he hangs in there with the world's best.
Speaking about his preparations for SummerSlam, Roll recently appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and revealed that he has been training at the WWE Performance Center with stars like Jacob Fatu and Kevin Owens.
Moreover, he has even received help from WWE Hall of Famers, The Undertaker and Michelle McCool. 'Undertaker comes in with Michelle, his wife. They come in and they go 'Hey, we just want to watch for a minute. Just kind of chill. Is that cool?' I was like 'Yeah, for sure!' This is who he is as a human. The entire three-hour session, him and his wife stood on those ropes and just gave me pointer after pointer.'
The country music star added, 'Kevin Owens, Jacob Fatu came in and wrestled with me the other day for like three or four hours. These dudes are pouring into me because they see that I'm trying to take it as seriously as I can."

Music Review: The Black Keys' 'No Rain, No Flowers' puts a feel-good spin on a turbulent year
NEW YORK — The Ohio alt-rock band the Black Keys are finding their way home on their 13th full-length LP, 'No Rain, No Flowers.' Music Review: The Black Keys' 'No Rain, No Flowers' puts a feel-good spin on a turbulent year The journey hasn't been easy. Last year, the Grammy-winning duo underwent a fiery, public split with their management after their arena tour was unceremoniously canceled. But on 'No Rain, No Flowers,' guitarist and vocalist Dan Auerbach and drummer Pat Carney put a feel-good spin on their recent career turbulence. The album pulls the raw blues, psychedelia, garage rock and roots music of their 23-year discography into a single package. Discerning fans won't have to look hard for nods to their rough 2024. The opening track begins with a synthesizer-infused post-punk riff that leaves a sense of both inner peace and simmering resentment. After warning 'There's evil people in this world / Live long enough and you will be burned,' Auerbach's easygoing voice assures that 'Baby, the damage is done / It won't be long 'til we're back in the sun.' Their fourth album in five years marks a return to the prolific pace they maintained early on in their career. Underdogs no more, the critically acclaimed duo's tenure shows itself on this album, in a mix of trusted creative partners and long-admired new collaborators. And perhaps truer to their name, this iteration of the Black Keys includes a lot more piano. The band says they've never worked with someone who writes on the piano like Rick Nowels, who appeared on Lana Del Rey 's Auerbach-produced album 'Ultraviolence.' Hip-hop producer Scott Storch plays keyboard on the groovy 'Babygirl,' which is part-power pop, part-Rolling Stones with its sharp rhythmic piano and lyrical self-assertiveness. He's also on 'Make You Mine,' where Auerbach's upper register and a string section push the band as close to Bee Gees' disco as they'll get. But they're at their best with moody, trance-inducing tracks like 'Down to Nothing,' where Auerbach's guitar elicits the feeling of yearning that's remained a constant throughout their catalog. The album leaves listeners with the twangy tones and folksier sounds of Nashville — where many of its contributors work and where Auerbach launched his Easy Eye Sound record label eight years ago. Music City songwriter Pat McLaughlin brings the same Americana sound of Auerbach's 2017 solo album to the penultimate track 'A Little Too High,' an upbeat stomper that evokes The Eagles. Electronic backing vocals imbue the closer, 'Neon Moon,' with the same supernatural undercurrent as Kacey Musgraves' 2018 'Golden Hour' — both of which credit songwriter Daniel Tashian. Its natural imagery, however, is less complex. 'You can find it in the southern sky,' Auerbach sings, 'By the light of the neon moon.' 'Take me home / Back to you,' the chorus repeats. 'Take me home / Neon moon.' The Black Keys aren't quite home with this one. But they're certainly following the light. Radio legend James Whale dies at 74 after battle with cancer
Source: X Veteran radio host and TalkTV presenter James Whale has died at the age of 73. Best known for his trailblazing style and outspoken presence on air, Whale passed away on Monday morning after entering hospice care. In the days leading up to his death, he had spoken openly about feeling 'at peace' with what lay ahead. His wife, Nadine, confirmed the news, telling the Express: "James slipped away very gently this morning. It was a beautiful passing and he left with a smile on his face." Whale's death was first announced on TalkTV, where colleague Mike Graham paid tribute to his long-standing legacy in British broadcasting. 'James began his remarkable career in the early 1970s when he pioneered a new kind of radio in Britain, the late night shock jock phone-in,' Graham said. He continued: 'By the late 1980s, The James Whale Radio Show had become a cultural phenomenon, broadcasting every weekend on ITV. He attracted millions of viewers, making him a household name. James would go on to host a variety of programmes for ITV, Sky and the BBC before finding a new audience for talk radio, all the while continuing to make headlines during his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.' Source: X Graham also highlighted Whale's contributions beyond broadcasting: 'In 2006, after surviving kidney cancer, James launched Kidney Cancer UK, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This Is Why Smart People Put Baking Soda in Their Shampoo Read More Undo In 2024, James was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours, recognising his extraordinary contribution to broadcast and charity. 'James Whale broke the rules, he shaped the airwaves, and did it all on his own terms. For millions, James wasn't just a broadcaster. He was a companion, a provocateur, and a good friend that we'll all never forget. God bless you, James. We'll miss you.' Fellow TalkTV host Jeremy Kyle also paid tribute, saying: 'He was an absolute fearless legend, a man who believed that it was about people. Believed it was about opinion. Never shied away from being brave enough to say what he felt.' Whale's death came just hours after a final column was published in which he shared: 'I'm happy to go.' James Whale's cancer journey James Whale's battle with cancer began in 2000, when he was first diagnosed with kidney cancer. At the time, doctors gave him just three months to live. As per Daily Mail, he underwent surgery to remove one of his kidneys, and the operation proved successful. In 2006, he founded the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer to raise awareness and support research. Tragically, the disease returned in 2020. He later revealed that it had spread, not only to his remaining kidney, but also to his lungs, spine, and brain. Source: X Speaking on TalkTV with Ash Gould in May 2024, Whale said: "I'm at the end of my cancer journey. There is no treatment I can have anymore." He added, "I can't tell you how grateful I am to Talk to actually let me on the air and sit next to Ash, which is a real pain in the butt, but I've been doing it for 25 years!" He also described the toll the illness had taken on him following a severe bout of flu that led to an ICU stay over Christmas. Despite it all, he kept his sense of humor, remarking. In June, he gave viewers a further update, saying: "Until very recently, everything was quite normal for me, everything was fine, and then you do get to a stage like I am now, where things get to be very very difficult. To anybody else who is in the final stages of cancer, you have my sympathy. I know exactly what you're going through, I do know. I look basically okay, I get told you look alright and I look okay, it's all make-up. " James Whale was candid about the emotional weight of terminal illness. Just two years after losing his first wife, Melinda, to lung cancer, he learned his own cancer had returned. Speaking to TalkTV, he recalled the moment of diagnosis: "I came home, had a little think about things. I decided I'm just booking myself a trip to Dignitas. You might as well just go and get it over with." He added: "I'd looked into it quite some time ago because Melinda died two years ago and it's been something in the back of my mind. This little b*****d has spread. It's in my remaining kidney. I've got a couple of small lesions in my lungs. I've got it in my spine. I've got it in my brain." Despite his strength, he never shied away from admitting the pain and fatigue he felt. 'I don't want to go on forever feeling like this,' he once said. James Whale is survived by his wife Nadine and his two sons, James and Peter.
