Simba Sleep axes hundreds of pounds off biggest mattresses in bank holiday sale
Some Simba mattresses have been cut in price by more than £120.
As summer rolls around, more and more big sales are kicking off online and around the UK. And this week, Simba has confirmed an incredible bank holiday weekend sale that - as its name suggests - will not be around forever.
The mattress company, which has an incredible 4.3-star rating on TrustPilot, has cut the prices of mattresses all over its website. This includes some budget products, as well as its most expensive ones. Giving shoppers a choice, no matter their budget.
The Hybrid Mattress is one found in the sale, cut from an original £649 down to £525.69 with a saving of more than £120. This body-aligning mattress is designed to help relieve pressure and comes with a zip cover, that can be easily washed.
It is also Simba Sleep's most popular mattress, having sold more than half a million products worldwide. And it's easy to see why. There are some cheaper alternatives in other retail sales too. Argos' Silent Night mattress is currently priced at £270. And Emma is handing out free pillows in its rival sleep sale.
Back to Simba, and its on-sale Hybird Mattress has 1,900 springs, which helps to support zones of the body. A 25cm depth, and 'five layers of comfort'. As Simba describes it as allowing 'airflow, cushioning and heat dissipation', a feature that could also come in handy during warmer summer weather.
If you're looking for a more luxurious mattress, though, Simba has you covered there, as well. The Hybrid Luxe Mattress has also been temporarily cut in price.
This high-end mattress has a staggering 5,700 springs, a 31cm depth and nine layers of mattress, including a wool and bamboo layer. The company adds that it has 'contouring designed to limit motion transfer' too.
The Hybrid Luxe Mattress is a little more pricey at £995.17, but is still majorly discounted from £1,199. Reviews of this mattress have been fantastic, as one shopper wrote: "So happy with my purchase, mattress surpassed my expectations providing a great sleep."
Another shopper agreed. They said: "I was sceptical at first about spending money on a new mattress as I thought what benefit would it bring! Then I stumbled across the Simba mattress online, and something about the way it was presented and the words used made me take the plunge.
"I have to say what a game changer this Hybrid mattress is. Comfortable, sturdy and right from the get-go, my sleep has dramatically improved."
Not all reviews about Simba have been positive, though. "The mattress is already sagging from 3 to 4 days after sleeping on it", said one shopper.

Over at rival Emma, the mattress company, which has over 50,000 reviews on TrustPilot, has cut prices.
This includes the Hybrid Thermosync Mattress, which could come with some free extras, including pillows and protectors, at just £519. Their £218 Hybrid Original Mattress is also included in the offer, with a £80 free pillow on the docket.

Certain conditions need to be met, such as cancellations within a fortnight of departure, strikes by airline staff, or when the disturbance is the airline's responsibility. However, remember that uproarious weather, political turmoil, volcanic ash clouds and security issues don't make the cut for compensation claims. If you're jetting off from a UK or EU airport, or with a UK or EU-based airline landing in these zones, your flight should be protected by EU and UK compensation rules. New data from MoneyPlus has revealed that Generation X (ages 45-60) are particularly feeling the financial pinch, with over half even cancelling holidays due to their financial situation, or resorting to buy now, pay later schemes to stay afloat. However, this struggle between saving and spending isn't exclusive to just this age group, as it can affect everyone. Yet, finance expert at Moneyfacts, Rachel Springall, assures that "it is possible to both save and have a sociable summer." Springall explains: "It is down to consumers to budget and be conscious of any essential bills whilst also juggling their aspiring saving goals." Don't neglect your saving pot MoneyPlus discovered that 60% of people surveyed felt pressured to spend a lot on big events and milestones – which may be amplified during summer. Springall warns: "The cost of the summer can escalate quickly if someone does not make efforts to budget. It's unwise to neglect building a saving pot at this time and it is true that consumers could be a bit apathetic this time of year to save. However, putting a little bit of cash aside each month could really make a difference in the months ahead." With the warmer months approaching, Springall and Santander financial advisor Mark Weston are offering practical tips on managing savings while still making the most of the summer holidays. Automate your saving habits Springall advises: "During this time, the arrival of app-based savings providers can be useful for those who want to automate their savings habits. Use a regular savings accounts Springall suggests that these types of savings accounts are perfect for gradually accumulating funds as they encourage positive saving habits. "However, consumers will need to work out if they are the right choice for them as some can be restrictive and might not be suitable for larger deposits," she advises. "Regular savings accounts can also revert to a flexible account after the term ends, which might not pay a good rate, so savers must make a diary note to reinvest if they are still building funds toward their future goal." Be prepared for unexpected expenses Weston particularly urges parents to have savings set aside for unforeseen costs. "If you know that your normal monthly disposable income is a bit tighter due to children being home more rather than being in school, it is good to have savings put away so it is still possible to socialise and do things with them in the summer." Combat financial inertia Springall encourages consumers to overcome any indifference and reassess how to make their money work harder. "Consumers need to shake any apathy they may have and take a step back to decide how their money could work harder for them during this time period also. You only need to look at Trustpilot to see how many positive reviews we have. Now, to have recognition for that is fantastic. 'It's quite a big award. It started out as a hobby. We started in 2011 at home and then we got our first shop in 2016. So, we have had a presence on the high street for a number of years. We first had a studio and then we eventually got a shop. My background before I started this business was in law. I started the business while I was on maternity leave. 'I'm always trying to put Pontardawe on the map. 'This is important because in the last couple of years it's been tough for businesses on the high street. So, to have support from the local community is fantastic.' She will attend Ashton Gate Football Stadium in Bristol next month to attend an award ceremony and receive the accolade in person. Mrs Doyle continued: 'We have supplied products for the Royal Family and received an award from Theo Paphitis from Dragons Den. But this award has been the icing on the cake. 'We just want to keep building our customer base. We still have so many people coming in who didn't realise we were here. 'We are a family business. My husband chips in, as do my children. My mum and dad also get involved. We even offer sowing workshops." The business creates its own brand of textile products. The business has recently reopened its basement following a yearlong renovation project, which is now home to Welsh/locally sourced foodie treats and a pre-loved bookshop. On the fourth floor, Sweet Williams creates its own brand of textile products, which are then supplied to over 200 stockists, helping other independent retailers to grow their presence on the local high street.
