Meet The Dancer Joining The New Season Of Love Is Blind UK

Graziadaily2 days ago
The Love Is Blind UK pods are back, with 30 singles ready to find their longterm partner. Emma and Matt Willis are back as presenters, helping participants through the experiment which sees them date strangers without seeing them. As we know, many then go on to propose to someone – still without having ever seeing them – before meeting them face-to-face for the first time and moving in together.
So far we've been introduced to Bardha, Aanu and Sophie. One of this season's participants is Megan. Here is everything you need to know about her...
Megan is a dancer and fitness instructor. She's spent a lot of her career dancing on cruise ships.
She recently split from a fellow dancer, so Megan is now looking for a man who supports her professional ambitions, is interested in starting a family and has a good sense of humour.
Megan's biological father has never been in the picture, so she's interested in adoption.
Yes! You can find her at @meganjupp

Love Is Blind star SLAMMED by fans as it's revealed controversial star had baby on the way during filming

The Love Is Blind star has blamed the edit for how he's been portrayed on the show POD SCANDAL Love Is Blind star SLAMMED by fans as it's revealed controversial star had baby on the way during filming Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A LOVE Is Blind star has been slammed by fans, after it was revealed that the controversial star had a baby on the way during filming. As the Netflix pods opened for 30 new singletons to try their luck at finding someone to marry, one star has got tongues wagging more than most. But now, fans have slammed the reality star on social media, after a TikToker claimed he had a baby on the way while on the show. A creator named Story Time With Rikkii said in the video: 'Patrick had a baby on the way and didn't tell no body about it.' She then shared a photo of Patrick and the baby mum together while covering the woman's face. The TikTok went on: 'She was pregnant with his child when he went on Love Is Blind UK.' The woman who was pregnant with Patrick's child has allegedly spoken out about it too, according to the TikToker, writing: 'When he first tried to blackmail me, then goes on a dating show and then leaves you alone to go to Bali for 2 months spending his money there and then still calls you negative and a bad mom for losing it.' The video went on to claim that Patrick's baby mum wrote: 'Isn't it crazy how one parent gets to carry on with their life, jobs, hobbies, and social life, and the other parent has to ask for a break to take a shower.' Story Time With Rikkii continued to share a photo of the baby, as well as the woman pregnant and said: 'The math is mathing, and that means that he was in them pods with the baby on the way.' Annoyed fans have claimed that he "wasted Aanu's time" as a result. The Sun has contacted Netflix for comment. Love Is Blind UK star leaves viewers 'feeling physically sick' as he details his VERY unique job The star has also been slammed by fans after blaming the edit for his portrayal on the Netflix show. Patrick has taken to his own TikTok to speak about his split from Aanu in the pods. On the show, as he ends things, he says to Aanu that if he was in the room with her he would put his arm around her. But on his TikTok, Patrick has denied ever saying this to Aanu, claiming that he actually said it to someone else. 4 Patrick is accused of having a baby on the way when he filmed the show Credit: Instagram He wrote: 'They cut away from my face to edit in this dumb comment. 'I never said 'if I was there I'd definitely put my arm around you.' 'They took this from another date with a different person and why would I put my arm around someone I did not propose to. 'It even sounds so weird and out of place.' Fans have been left outraged, as one person wrote: 'This is such red flag behaviour. You can't just blame the edit.' A second penned: 'I smell bulls***,' and a third added: 'This is reality TV Patrick, surely you knew what you were getting yourself into.' Speaking in the pods to potential match Yolanda, Patrick said that he follows his spleen "literally to the second", later adding: "Listening to my spleen is the best way to find the love of his life.' While it didn't win over Yolanda or another hopeful, Catherine, the idea intrigued singer Aanu, who sparked a connection with him. But viewers were left baffled by his continued discussion of his spleen in conversation – with some left turned off by the chat, despite finding Patrick charming, saying it made them feel ill. "I loveee Patrick, do you know how nice you have to be for me to ignore the fact you keep mentioning your spleen??" wrote one on X (formerly Twitter). "Please the word 'spleen' is just making me cringe and feel physically sick. How many times are we going to have to hear this nonsense" said a second. "This bloke and his damn SPLEEN, his spleen should have told him to stay home," said a third. While a fourth noted: "The moment that guy talked about following his spleen, I would have been out of there." Despite the spleen talk, Patrick and Aanu did hit it off on the show - at least to begin with. However, the pair hit a wall when Aanu admitted that she puts a lot of weight into what her mum thinks, crediting her for helping her make decisions. The comment was received badly by Patrick, who said that his "spleen was silent" and that their connected had "dipped", with her telling Aanu that she needs to learn to follow her own instincts. From that point on, they struggle to get back on track – and when Aanu decides to open up to him by writing a song for him, he ends things before she can perform it. "I don't want you to give a song to someone who is undeserving of that song," he told her. "I've enjoyed thoroughly talking to you and going through this experience with you, but I have to follow my spleen."

Is It Time To Give The Divisive Jeans A Second Chance?

As part of my job, I spend hours scrolling through websites, tracking what's trending and what people are adding to their baskets. One morning, I stopped in my tracks - there they were again: M&S was selling a pair of jeggings with 11,870 reviews, a 4.4-star rating, and 75% of shoppers recommending them, already running low in stock. Jeggings defined a particular moment in fashion history. Picture this: Spring 2010, they were the skinny-fit staple you wore with a Chloé Paddington slung over your arm and an Alexander McQueen scarf looped around your neck. But while they promised the stretch of leggings with the look of jeans, many fell out of love with them because they weren't as comfortable as we hoped, never mind the the endless adjusting and inevitable elastane fatigue. But the day we never thought would come has arrived, and, now, they've been reimagined. Today's versions are softer, more sculpting, and cut from fabrics that lift and flatter, with elasticated high waistbands for ease. One M&S reviewer summed it up simply, saying they had 'waited for these to come back into stock' and that they love 'the fit'. According to Megan, a stylist at Silkfred, the jegging's enduring appeal comes from 'comfort and ease of movement while still giving you the streamlined look of denim.' She describes them as 'polarising' because they sit in the 'in-between space of jeans and leggings' and can instantly conjure memories of the early 2010s - the era of over-styled club looks, heavy eyeliner, and dodgy digital camera snaps. Still, she pointed out that for anyone who loves the feel of leggings and wants skinny silhouettes back in their wardrobe, jeggings are 'an incredibly practical option.' On whether we're seeing a genuine revival, Megan links the resurgence to fashion's wider knack for anything nostalgic, saying that with retailers like M&S reintroducing them, more brands are leaning into the late-2000sand early 2010s aesthetic. She doesn't expect them to dominate denim trends - 'we never saw a jegging on the runway' - but said the rise of comfort-first dressing and body-contouring styles is helping them find their audience again. While Megan believes jeggings will always carry a nostalgic edge, they can be rendered a classic style if worn in minimal ways. Her advice? 'They can look timeless when styled in a minimal, elevated way. Perhaps a dark indigo wash or black jeggings with a crisp, oversized shirt, a blazer, and pointed flats. The key is keeping the rest of the outfit simple and avoiding the over-styled early-2010s look we remember from their first heyday.' In short, jeggings may never reclaim their 2010 peak, but in fashion, no trend is ever truly gone for good. 1. M&S, Ultra High Ankle Leather Jeggings 2. M&S, High Waisted Jeggings Indigo Mix 3. I was struck by collapsing metal fence at UK beach amusement park – all I could hear was children screaming

Single mum Megan Cavanagh had taken her kids to the Coney Beach funfair in Porthcawl, Wales, on Wednesday but it ended in a terrifying ordeal. 5 Megan Cavanagh, 24, claims the fence fell straight on top of her Credit: WalesOnline/Media Wales 5 Pictures show adults helping children off the ride after it 'derailed' Credit: Wales News Service 5 13 children and one adult sustained minor injuries in the accident Credit: Wales News Service The single mother had arrived at the seaside funfair around 5pm on August 13, hoping to enjoy the rides and attractions with her young children and some family friends. However, not long into their visit Megan had to step away from the park after her young autistic daughter became unsettled by the loud noises. After a brief time away she re-joined her group near the Wacky Worm ride – a rollercoaster described as "the perfect first thrill ride for the kids". "I was just minding my own business," Megan said. 'I was standing with my back to the ride, talking to my friends, when it happened. It was all so sudden. 'We just heard this massive bang and children started screaming.' According to Megan the metal fence separating the ride from spectators collapsed unexpectedly – falling on top of her. 'The fence fell straight on top of me, hitting my back,' she said. 'I managed to push my friend's pram out of the way, which was right next to me. "I pushed the fence off myself and when I looked up all I could see were kids on the ride screaming.' Terrifying moment Scots carnival ride 'flies off track' with kids inside Megan added: "Parents were jumping on trying to get their kids off – it was awful. "I'm just grateful I took my daughter away earlier because otherwise we would have been on that ride too.' Megan said she was checked by staff and advised to attend hospital if the pain continued but chose to return home, citing a lack of childcare and describing the pain at the time as 'just aches'. South Wales Police later confirmed that 13 children and one adult sustained minor injuries, with some sent to hospital for further treatment. Megan added: 'I'm planning to go to the doctor. I struggled to sleep last night from the pain so I am going to see how I feel. 'None of this is what you'd expect from what is supposed to be a family trip out.' In a statement, Coney Beach Pleasure Park said previously it was instructed by police to clear the site after an incident on a "third-party ride" not owned by the park. It apologised for the disruption and said it will provide refunds to affected customers as soon as possible. A statement added: "Due to an incident on a third-party ride not owned by Coney Beach, we were instructed by the police to clear the site for further investigation. "We apologise for the disruption and will be providing refunds to affected guests as soon as possible. We will be releasing instructions on refunds shortly. "We thank you for your cooperation." The Sun Online has contacted the amusement park for an update. 5 One of the cars on the ride appeared to be suspended in the air, off the tracks Credit: Media Wales
