Social enterprise The Bread Maker, an artisan bakery and coffee shop, is kicking things off.
The Rosemount Viaduct spot sells rowies, focaccia, and everything in between.
There are gluten-free loaves, oaty bread, sourdough, crusty bread rolls, ciabatta and much more.
As for sweet options, the bakery sells cupcakes, scones, pancakes, empire biscuits, muffins traybakes and some delicious strawberry tarts.

Since the Cookie Cult shop opened its doors back in 2023, owner Amanda Charles and her enthusiastic team have been serving up delicious cookies to hungry customers in Aberdeen.

As well as some tasty coffees – hot or iced – Cookie Cult serves huge loaded cookies absolutely stuffed with filling.

There are savoury options to choose from too, including chicken or pork sandwiches, which are delicious.
The couple also bake adorable cakes for celebrations to keep them in mind for your next birthday.

It quickly became one of the most well-loved bakeries in the north-east when owner Gary McAllister started the business six years ago.
Once you try their products, it's easy to understand why.
They sell bread, doughnuts, pies, pancakes and epic butteries.
The business recently started selling these butteries at Costco.
I would recommend getting your hands on a yum yum on your visit.

All the bakes are vegan – you might have guessed by the name! – and their vegan butteries rival other non-vegan alternatives in the city.
The Vegan Bay Bakery offering also includes delicious brookies, cupcakes, pretzels doughnuts and almond croissants.

Putin, who has consistently rejected calls for a ceasefire, said that he wants peace but that his demands for ending his invasion were "unchanged". On the offensive Russian forces launched a last-minute ground attack to grab as much Ukrainian territory as possible ahead of the peace talks with Donald Trump. The lightning speed offensive saw Russian troops breaching through defence lines in eastern Ukraine in a dramatic two-pronged attack. And it could give Putin an upper hand when he meets the US President for the historic peace summit on Friday. But in the last few days, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance units pushed some six to 15 miles deep into Ukrainian territory near the town of Dobropillia in Donetsk. Plans to turn Bothwell Street building into 'upper scale' hotel
If plans are approved, a largely empty Glasgow city centre building will be transformed into a hotel, aiming to be one of the operator's best in Europe. According to design documents lodged with the council, the B-listed property on Bothwell Street is one of the largest American-Classical-style commercial buildings in the city. Plans have been submitted to redevelop the former offices and add an extension to turn them into a new 'upper-scale hotel' with 235 rooms. Details of the hotel chain aiming to take it over have been kept confidential in planning documents. A design statement said: 'The proposed confidential hotel operator is particularly excited about the potential provided by the building to create a best-in-class hotel of distinction, which they anticipate will be one of the finest in their operator's European portfolio.' It added: 'The listed building is soon to become entirely unoccupied. The commercial office use for which the building was built and designed is no longer viable. The building has early indications of corrosion of the structural steel frame, which needs to be addressed to prevent damage to the significant external masonry façade.' Proposals include adding a two-storey roof extension to the existing eight-storey office block. The design document continued: 'The proposed development is conservation-led and will integrate and repurpose the significant parts of the listed building into the new hotel use, whilst retaining its external appearance and presence within the street.' HFD Property Group Limited have applied for planning permission to change the use of building from 'offices at upper floors and restaurant/cafe and retail on ground floor to hotel with ancillary uses at upper and part ground floor, rooftop extension and external alterations.' Construction of number 95 Bothwell Street finished in the early 1930's by Scottish Legal Life Assurance company. Glasgow City Council is considering the application. Virgin Atlantic upgrades Cape Town route for summer season
Cape Town's direct link to London is getting a major upgrade. Virgin Atlantic has announced that its seasonal Cape Town–Heathrow route will now run from 13 October 2025 to 19 April 2026 - adding an extra 17,000 seats to the summer season. From 26 October, a new double overnight schedule kicks in, with flights timed for better rest and faster onward connections to all of Virgin's US destinations, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Orlando. VS 478 departs London at 22:30, arrives in Cape Town at 12:10 (+1) VS 479 departs Cape Town at 21:55, arrives in London at 07:45 (+1) A special Easter extension will see daily flights continue through to 19 April 2026. All services will be on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with Virgin's signature Upper Class, Premium, and Economy cabins. Marc Harding, Virgin Atlantic's South Africa Country Manager, says the move cements the airline's long-term commitment to the market: 'These changes give customers more seats, more flexibility, and even better connections through Heathrow – making it easier than ever to travel between South Africa, the UK and the US.'
