(1) MS SAKURA showed up well on debut and should much prefer this trip. Has the best of the draws.
(10) NAUTICAL LANDING has the widest draw and has been frustrating to follow. She has finished out of the money just once in a dozen starts and goes well this trip.
(9) ECHO made sudden improvement last run at long odds but seemed to enjoy the extra. She has a chance of a repeat showing.
(2) LATE BLOOMER makes her debut for a strong yard and is one to watch in the betting.
Race 3 (2,000m)
(1) PARLIAMENT SQUARE has mixed his form in seven starts, but could find his feet in this.
(3) LIMELIGHT LEGEND has shown up well in fairly strong maiden company. He has to give weight to most of his rivals.
(7) APACHE AG is lightly raced but nearly upset last run with first-time blinkers. A repeat effort will see him close again.
(8) CALL ME HARRIET has improved at her last two and has a money chance.
Race 4 (1,600m)
(2) ONE PATH has improved with a tongue-tie and goes well on the Poly. This trip from a good draw is a lot in her favour.
(1) PROM QUEEN got a five-point shunt up the handicap for her last win and now meets (9) FIREBURST on 1.5kg worse terms. But she does have the better draw.
(6) PLUM PUDDING looks the pick of the Andre Nel pair, given jockey bookings. Won well in her local debut, can improve further.
(4) GREENHOUSE is possibly held by Prom Queen on their last meeting.
Race 5 (1,600m)
(1) SEQUOIA has his first run for a new stable but comes with strong Fairview form and looks well in at these weights.
(5) IMPERIAL POWER was narrowly beaten over course and distance last run and that form has since been franked.
He meets (7) FEW DOLLARS MORE on the same weight terms as when they last met. Glen Kotzen's runner could turn the tables.
(9) ICY BLAST has shown up well in two outings on the Poly and can feature again.
Race 6 (1,400m)
(5) MAGICAL VIEW has finished close-up in two features behind the useful Green Sapphire and should go close in this contest.
A head split Magical View and (8) SCHOOL POLICY when they last met. She can turn the tables.
(1) GOODNESSGRACIOUSME improved nicely at her second KZN start. She is down in trip but, from a plum draw, she is one for the exotic bets.
(4) TWO G'S was a beaten favourite behind the useful Bevie's Delight last time. She faces a fair field her and is still improving.
Race 7 (1,400m)
(6) BANK STREET has a modest Cape Town record, but has never been far back. First run for Stuart Ferrie and Sean Veale stays aboard.
(7) MAC HARDY is over his best course and distance and is seldom out of the money.
(2) GIMME THE FLAME may be down for the Poly. One to watch.
(10) COPACABANA won well when stepped up in trip and has a chance again.
Race 8 (1,200m)
(1) MR MASTER STARTER beat (3) THISISWHATITMEANS by a length when they last met in February. Thisiswhatitmeans has since won twice on the Poly. Little between them at level weights.
(2) TWENTY ONE MAY makes his Poly debut. Quicker surface could see him home over the extra 200m.
(4) COLD SHINE has his first run for a new stable. Not seen since December but may pay to follow.
Race 9 (1,200m)
(12) LADYBUG has a tricky draw to contend with, but she made a smart return from a break when going down narrowly over her favourite course and distance. If she beats the draw, she will go close.
(2) ETHEREAL VIEW was back to her best last time when a close-up second. From a favourable gate, she can make a repeat showing.
(5) AVERNIAN GODDESS has been a frustrating filly to follow. But she got it all right last run over course and distance.
(8) BUTTERCUP BABY has patchy form but is smart on her day.

Race 1 (1,200m) (7) BLACK FROST was not far back on his Poly debut but has run well on this course. Rachel Venniker is back from injury with her 1.5kg allowance. (9) BOURBON'S BEAST started at long odds in both starts but was much improved last time and the stable is in form. (8) MOHAVE PRINCE was a modest fourth on debut but experience should bring him on. (10) GREEN GATEWAY is a regally bred debutant and one to watch in the betting. Race 2 (1,000m) (1) CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT has shown promise in two runs, and was not far back in a strong maiden last time. With a 4kg claimer up, she should be competitive. (6) MISS KANSAS made a smart debut over course and distance but ran well below form at her last start. Big chance on her debut effort. (5) DREAM DECISION raced green on debut on this course and should come on with the run. (8) QUEEN FENN is consistent and can feature in this line-up. Race 3 (1,400m) (5) CATCH A PENNY has not been out of the money in nine starts and has gone close over this distance. She takes on males but should be thereabouts again. (8) NEXT OF KIN was a beaten favourite in just his second start. He has shown up well in both outings and this trip should suit. (6) DIGITAL ASSET was staying on gamely behind the highly rated Bruh last time. He has improved with each outing. (4) CARNIVAL PARK is another who has been improving all the while and the stable is in form. Race 4 (1,400m) (1) FLYING SOUTH was narrowly beaten last start. She steps up in trip but has the best of the draws in what appears to be a modest line-up. (6) MISS TWINKLE raced greenly on debut but did find some market support. She is sure to come on with the outing. (10) SKIPPER O'MALLEY has shown some ability and has a fair money chance. (12) SNEEUWITJIE gets first-time blinkers and a light weight. She can surprise. Race 5 (2,400m) (9) LADY MY LADY is a lightly raced four-year-old who goes the trip for the first time. However, she has only 49kg to shoulder and was not far back at her last two. (3) ESCAPOLOGIST loves this course and distance and goes well for Cole Dicken. A repeat of her last effort will see her close again. (6) OUR LADY FATE steps up in trip but has had two promising warm-ups leading into the race. She should stay the trip and is one to follow in the market. (4) SHINY BOB won well last time. Gets 4kg claim. Race 6 (1,000m) (7) ICY ELEANOR disappointed first-up on the Poly but has done well over course and distance. (5) VISION TO ACHIEVE is in cracking form over course and distance but found Hot Pearl in a galloping mood last time. (1) HAPPY ANALIA gets first-time blinkers. Her last win was over course and distance. (6) HURRICANE CAT was much improved when winning first-up with a tongue-tie. She is quick and has a chance again. Race 7 (1,400m) (3) THESUPERNOVASTAR was much improved with blinkers off. A repeat effort over course and distance will see him in the mix. (4) BEACH PALACE was two lengths back to Thesupernovastar when they last met, but Callan Murray takes over the apprentice. (7) SAIL TO THE MOON had his first outing for Yogas Govender in the same race, after arriving from the Western Cape where the form stacks up well in KZN. (6) ATTABOY with Gavin Lerena replacing an apprentice should show big improvements. Race 8 (1,400m) Mike Miller has three chances but on jockey bookings, (4) ETHEREAL VIEW is the stable elect. Wide on Poly last start but has good form over the trip. (5) RADU is holding form well and is back over what looks to be her optimum trip. (11) PROM QUEEN is drawn wide but has come on well of late. With some luck in running, should contest the finish. (10) SKYTRIX also has a wide draw but has a 4kg claimer aboard. Not the worst.

Race 1 (1,200m) (6) GOTTA GO EDDIE has placed in all three starts and meets modest opposition. (2) BINGO has drawn well and the switch to the Poly may suit. (7) VENCEDOR has been dropping in the ratings but looks competitive, while (8) SOVEREIGN COMMAND has been disappointing, but has a money chance. Race 2 (1,600m) (3) ACT OF GRACE has run well on the Poly and should stay the trip from a good draw. (1) GREEN MILE goes well on this trip. Drawn well on the Poly, he should be a big runner. (2) CARNARVON steps up in trip for the first time. Watch him. (9) GRIPEN is seldom far off and had a taste of the Poly last run. Race 3 (1,800m) (3) QUINN'S TIME won easily when stepped up in trip. With only 52kg on his back, he should be a contender. (6) LEXICAN POINT improved last time. He makes his Poly debut. (8) PAPA C was caught late last time. The shorter trip suits. (1) EVENTIDOR is up a further three points in the handicap and that form has not held up well. Race 4 (1,800m) (3) AFROPOLITAN looks primed for a win with a 4kg claimer aboard. (4) MOOLA MAN steps up to a more suitable trip and Gavin Lerena stays on the ride. (6) MY BOY LOLLIPOP could improve over the shorter trip. (8) BLAZING LIGHT has a light weight and was not far back on the Poly last time. Race 5 (1,000m) The switch to Poly could bring out the best from (1) WHEREVERILAYMYHAT's inside draw. (8) MASK ON has drawn widest but has shown up well in his last two. (5) VICTOR RAIL has useful form on this trip and the Poly will suit. (2) CATAVAR ran second over course and distance last time, and now has a 4kg claimer aboard. Race 6 (1,000m) (7) TWENTY ONE MAY has been knocking at the door. He is now 2.5kg better off with (6) THISISWHATITMEANS and should be able to turn the tables over his preferred trip. Thisiswhatitmeans has come on well on the Poly and a fifth win on the bounce is on the cards. (1) FUTURE FLO only missed a cheque four times in 24 runs, and those four were over ground. (2) BLUE HOLLY has been a bit disappointing but, with the light weight and good draw, she can surprise. Race 7 (1,200m) (1) WING WALKER easily won his maiden over course and distance. He can follow up. (2) FATE OF FORTUNE made a winning return first-up. He has a handy weight and can follow up. (6) MASTERBLING has a more experienced rider aboard. (3) PREEMPTIVE STRIKE loves the Poly and is not out of it. Race 8 (1,200m) (2) GIMMETHEGOODLIFE has done well on the Poly. A big contender. (5) SUPER FAST has a 4kg claimer aboard and should put in another good run. (6) HIPPOCRATES was touched off last run. He loves the Poly. (9) IBHELE has dropped further in the ratings and could now be competitive.

Dean Kannemeyer has a stable of promising juveniles and the unraced (2) GIMMEANOTHERVIKING is bred in the purple. (5) OMNIA was much improved second time when trying a little further on the Poly. She should come on from that effort. (4) GATHERING WINTERcompletes the shortlist. Race 2 (1,600m) Paul Lafferty's runner (10) BRUH has come on with each outing and looks primed for this. (2) FRENCH WAR LORD has shown up well in two sprints and the step up in trip from a plum draw can see him home. (4) MASTER SPY was a well-beaten fourth over the trip last time, but he can improve on that effort. (1) PIED PIPER showed up well on debut and steps up to a more suitable trip. Race 3 (1,200m) (10) XENOPHON looks primed to fire after two smart efforts. Narrowly beaten last run and he should go close again. (4) NEXT OF KIN showed up well on debut over course and distance, and one can expect good improvement from him. (8) CARDINAL CHIEF ran on strongly on debut and the extra furlong should suit. (9) RAGING MOON has not been far back in two outings and has a money chance. Race 4 (1,200m) (9) CELESTIAL DIAMOND was a beaten even-money favourite last start. She has shown up well in both starts and should run another good race. (16) LUCIENNE has put in three good efforts and should be involved in the finish again. (5) TRAIL RUNNER was a beaten favourite at her last two on the Highveld. She was not far behind and should feature. (1) CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT made a smart debut at long odds and is one to watch in the betting. Race 5 (1,600m) (5) WORLD OF ROYALTY steps up to a mile but has two good sprints in the bag. Beaten favourite last run but this trip should suit. (1) EL CAPITAN has the best draw and has not been out of the money in four starts since his return from the Cape. (8) LIMELIGHT LEGEND has been runner-up in his last three and stays the trip well, so he has a strong chance. (9) QUEEN OF THE AIR showed up well in her first run back from a lengthy break and is one to watch. Race 6 (1,750m) (5) PRINCESS PALACE is seldom far behind and steps up in trip. She has a handy weight and rates a strong winning chance. (3) HODGEPODGE shoulders top weight but has consistent form and should be in the firing line again. (10) ELEMBEE should not be far off. (9) ANOTHER DREAM is a recent maiden winner but won well from a wide draw and can be involved in the finish. Race 7 (1,750m) (4) DANCING ON A CLOUD has been a touch disappointing since running out an easy maiden winner on this course. He does seem better than his last two and gets another chance. (6) LOCK AND KEY has been a beaten favourite at her last two but has been runner-up and can go one better in this line-up. (2) ROYAL INVITATION has improved at her last two and comes from a Cape stable that does not have many runners up for the season. (5) TIRPITZ steps up in trip. One to watch in the betting. Race 8 (1,000m) (4) MAJOR TOMMIE is lightly raced and was not far behind in his handicap debut. He has a big weight but should be right up there. (12) B FIFTYTWO was close-up at long odds last start. He should be competitive. (11) RHYTHM is holding form and goes well on this trip. Not out of it. The form behind (10) RAFA'S BOY could be the key. He jumped seven points in the handicap for his last win but now gets a 4kg claimer aboard.
