ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Escambia County deputies are searching for a man accused of stealing a vehicle, leading them on a chase, wrecking the vehicle and running away.
Jamaican nationals arrested in Baldwin County face federal charges in lottery scam
According to an ECSO spokesperson, the sheriff's office had been investigating a stolen vehicle and tried to stop a vehicle that matched the description. However, the driver did not stop and a chase began.
Deputies said the vehicle crashed on Cerny Road, and the driver ran off.

ECSO officials called out a K-9 unit to assist in the hunt for the suspect.
An ECSO spokesperson said the vehicle was reported stolen Wednesday.

Squires was arrested in November following an investigation by the sheriff's office and the Mobile County District Attorney's Office. That investigation led to a grand jury indictment on charges of first-degree rape, second-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree sexual abuse, the release said. The terms of his bond required Squires to 'not depart from State,' but the DA's office received information that Squires had gone to a baseball game in Biloxi, Miss., June 5, the release said. The DA's office immediately filed a motion to revoke Squires' bond and signed a warrant for his arrest, the release said.
